Is there a reason why tonight's episode only took place in one day? Was there something that I missed as far as an explanation, keeping in mind I missed the first 12 minutes.

They did not give an explaination, but when they announced the two extra players JP or MB one said that things would have to be changed because they had two extra people and the same amount of time. i think they just want to make things different so we don't know what to expect...

They said they want to keep the survivors on their toes...not have them think they know the game. And like Blue jean said they have 2 extra people to vote off to make the same time frame. I would think that there is either another double tribal council or someone gets hurt to get to the correct jury.
