This is one of the best episodes of Survivor I can recall from recent memory. I had no idea who was going to leave with all that was going on in that tribal. Loved the swap into 3 tribes. Loved that NuYawa are a strong unit because I love Lauren and Ben there.
-
Agreed. Very good episode.
I would have rather had Joe be the one to go though. Would be nice if Ashley and Devon could flip Desi since Joe doesn't have an idol anymore. Too much to hope for though!
-
I wouldn't be too surprised if that happened. I would love it because Joe is a bit too big for his boots and Desi seems impressionable after Joe threw her under the bus by default. We can hope anyway!
-
Kinda glad he's gone early. A little too much attitude. Joe, too
-
Wold anyone like me to update this episode, in the next half hour or so, of have we all seen the episdoe?
-
Well, always good to have a live update for reference, anyway :)

This advantage gives you the power, to block one person from voting at the next Tribal Council!
You will send this anonymously to someone on your tribe. They will NOT know its power, until they open it at Tribal Council.
If you win immunity and do not go to Tribal Council, you must send this to someone on the losing tribe.
-
Jessica speaks to Cole and someone else about her advantage!

Cole thinks if he tells everyone about the advantage, then everyone may trust him!
He tells Lauren now! She tells she will use that Infromation to HER advantage!

Joe thinks Devon could vote with Ashley. Joe might play his idol!
'I need them to vote for me'

'This is total bullcrap'
'Joe has lost his mind' Desi
A big argument is going on!

'That is not an advantage' Devon
'It's time to vote!'

Desi...
Alan...
'I'll go tally the votes'
-
'If anyone has a HII...'

Jeff confirms it is a HII!
'I'll read the votes'
-

JOE (DNC)
ALAN
'Fourth person voted out...'
-
ALAN!
'Alan, the tribe has spoken! :torche: :('
'Well, in Survivour, you can have all of the plans in the works, but the gods of Survivour, do not care!'
-
Next time on Survivour...
To win, you have to get dirty!
Be ruthless...
And have a willingness to win it all!
-
Alan says he is dissapionted to leave so early!
END OF THE EPISODE!
Totally sad about Alan leaving. That's all!
-
That's cause Joe's an asswipe.
But technically, he's a good player, just that he's annoying as hell. The better player stayed, and it doesn't help an advantage came in.
In any case, Allen would have gone home thanks to the HII.
-
Season of Secrets! We all know how hard it is to keep a secret!
These one-time tribal council advantages are a good twist. The advantage was a mandatory play as Devon did not have choice. There will be high anxiety upon finding any "advantage" in your bag.
-
I'm actually looking forward to Survivor: Back to Basics.
No HII, no random advantages, twists etc.
Just good ol' season one type of play.
With the old birds returning, to play the game against the returnees in the recent season.. and see how the season unfolds.

We had that season already it was called Survivor: Kaoh Rong (all the twists flopping <3).
-
I mean both the mini advantages so far this season have not influenced the game (yet). I also like immunity idols when they're not overkill. 1 at each tribe (different search method to avoid the likes of Tai hoarding them) and one at merge.
-
I don't like the secret advantage. I mean how can someone from other tribe can make impact at the tribal council? i know it was useless since Joe played the idol for himself, but if Joe don't have an idol or he played for the wrong person, it could make different result
-
Yeah, didn't like that either.
Survivor is a great show. It has a clear mechanism and although advantages (mostly idols) do add a lot more strategy to the game, this is going overboard imo.
I mean, Game Changers was ridiculous and Cirie leaving without any votes against her was shocking, but not in a good way.
This is a game of social politics at its core. I wish they stopped messing with the formula so much.:/
Anyway, despite this rant, the episode was pretty good. LOVE that they've finally done a swap from 3 tribes to 3. The season's gonna pick up from now on I feel.
