Suppose it's time to start this thread as the first ratings are just out.
The premiere was once again #1 for the week. But the lowest yet, below 2 million for the first time for a premiere
1.888 million
-
However it was the number one watched program (By far) http://assets.numeris.ca/Downloads/July%203,%202017%20-%20July%209,%202017%20(National).pdf
Its just a general trend in downwards tv numbers as a lot of cord cutting is happening...
-
Episode 2 was #2 of the week with 1.608, behind America's Got Talent.
AGT wasn't on the night of the premiere due to the US 4th holiday, so this was pretty much expected. Kind of wish after last year they'd have gotten a better slot that doesn't compete with that =/
-
Episode 3 was up but #2 again
1.777
-
AGT viewership dropped, while TARCAN wen up (both by small margins). Both shows air at the same time, so it might be indicative that people are not interested in AGT and switching over (considering both are the same genre). CTV should air the show another time tbh.
-
From everything I have heard from TAR USA production...it is the 7 day ratings that matter. Day of is NOT crucial any more.
-
Sorry, as best as I could tell we were talking only the night.
-
Our ratings system is basically a weekly top 30 list across all networks, a bit different than how the US does it.
-
Ratings just came out for Beijing Leg. Late this week because Monday was Civic Holiday.
#2. 1.684 mil. Just can't beat AGT for that slot :p
-
Thailand episode was #1! 1.830
Best week since premiere
-
Maybe the producers should get the hint that it's time to go full-time international...the demand is there
Thailand episode was #1! 1.830
Best week since premiere
-
These numbers are basically right on par with what a US episode has normally gotten on CTV for years. That'd probably be not that much of a difference.
It's the timeslot more so . America's Got Talent is tough competition
-
It's like Sudbury all over again!
Leg 6 in Ottawa was #1 and the highest-rated yet. 1.896 m, topping even the premiere.
-
Episode 7 was down, just slightly above the low point of episode 2, yet maintained #1. AGT is dropping, too
1.611m
-
Ratings are late this week for some reason. Even after the holiday, they would have normally been out yesterday.
Episode 8 was #2 at 1.628m. AGT reclaims top spot.
-
Episode 9 returns to #1 with a sizeable lead over AGT
1.701 m
-
Episode 10 was strongest since Episode 6
#1, 1.724m
Finale number next Tuesday.
-
How was it??
-
I LOVE these rating TAR Canada gets! :colors
-
Finale number is in. About as expected with the trend of cord-cutting now.
#1 once again, 1.961 million. First finale under 2, but still highest of the season.
Emmys got 2nd
