Singapore is Leg 6 - Filmed on 07/12 (Which is funny considering that 07/12 is only starting for me, but the day is almost over in Asia).

Yes, the show had already started airing right before the last block of filming, but If I am remembering it right, they even managed to add some footage from the finale leg into some or the early season episodes. Which is justified for S4, due to the theme of the season. as the Summer Olympic Games were about to start

Curious if they'll be scrapping Kuala Lumpur, which is listed among the cities from the first promo. Is the only one missing from the checklist. Kuala Lumpur was listed between Macau and Shanghai in the promo.

They're probably at HCM already. Teams spotted at airports flying there already, but unlike most TAR versions, unless there was a task ahead, flying time usually not considered racing time.

I wouldn't say exactly fake news, more like getting the hands before the feet, as that map was from the very early plans once the season details were announced and those destinations would fit wonderfully with the theme, however probably when things got into getting permits and planning proper, some of those destinations didn't pan out.

The official destinations were the ones from the promo that was released in June.

And they just wrapped the filming of the final leg a few hours ago.

Apparently they held some sort of a press conference after with the final three.  :groan:

So the final 3 and the winners are known.

There is to be NO final 3 discussion or pics without spoiler tags.

Yes, there was a press event with the Final 3 shortly after. Happy about who made it into the final 3. Trying to find evidence about who finished in fourth, just to confirm my theory, but otherwise, you can easily build the boot list from all available information we have.

It's all the weirdness from this production, they show a map on a press conference back in march, where destinations as peach put it, included some wishful thinking rather actual planning. Rather annoying I would say. Similarly a few weeks later, that would happen for casting, where press conference teases don't really match what actually happened,

Will wait till tomorrow to share a cool pic from the final leg I found on weibo.

This is a Shenzen TV production. And considering the celebrity cast nature and also the fact that it seems to be performing well enough ratings wise, not surprised by the kerfuffle and more public nature of the venture.

According to the news posts and the clip the Finish Line wasn't even in Shanghai it was actually at Chuzhou (it's another city several miles away) which is the city where HeiHeiRu originated. Seems like that the finish line (where the press event was hosted) and final challenge was at one of their plants.
