Last night;
On our way from Rockefeller Center to our hotel, The Marriott Marquis, we happened to run across several teams from the Amazing Race-Israel in Times Square. This is apparently the first leg of the race and the local production crew was filming them as they completed their tasks in Times Square.
This is my favorite TV reality show and it was very interesting to watch the film crew and production staff as they filmed them (shooting several times over and over as they approached the clue box, opened it and read their clue. They were also being coached as to how to react to the surroundings and the contents of the clue.
While some of my illusions of the show being mostly real and not as scripted as others were shattered, it will not make me stop watching it!

I had a really good experience yesterday.
When I was talking with my friends in front of the cafe, suddenly one couple came and said to us "Please do our a favor?" I couldn't understand the situation but it looked interesting so I answered "Yes" Then they took us to Times Square.
Actually they're TV talent and they were joining TV project. It is called "Amazing Race"
They had to complete a mission so they needed some people who are from foreign countries.
If they win, they will be able to get €1,000,000.
I hope they win the race and get the money.

So I'm taking my morning walk down Sandy's near my house and I walk right into the filming of the "Amazing Race". They me tell I need to move and get off the beach. I keep walking in my beach. -I ignore this guy with a foreign accent telling me get off the beach. Then I see this this guy dressed like he came straight out of the Disney Moana movie. I take some pictures and they tell me I cannot. I keep taking pictures. They yelling at me to get off the shoreline. Irritating! Are Hawaiians getting anything out of this production other than have a cartoon version of our people represented? Kanaka we really need our own Nation!

Comments: Yes! They were at the wrong beach. They were supposed to be at Sandy Beach. Showed them on a map that it was on the other side of the island. Thinking the cab driver told them the wrong info

That's true but Zanzibar accepts visitors with Israeli stamped passports. Most islamic countries don't. Egypt and Jordan do but I don't think the producers would take such a risk with all those terror organizations like ISIS waiting for some press attention.

"being boycotted by Israel" ?Islamic countries aren't being boycotted by Israel. It is very dangerous for Israelis to travel these countries. And most Islamic countries (like 95%) doesn't even accept visitors with Israeli stamped passports. TAR producers would never let them fly to a country where the contestants will be at risk

Most likely Israel, they're filming right now.
China revealed their full upcoming route, Russia is not on it. Peking Express is filming, but is not a TAR franchise, they probably don't use the yellow and red markers.

Okay...call me crazy, but I've been following the thread and noticed something fishy. Is there a possibility that there are either a) four FF teams or b) a decoy FF team?
From the pictures posted so far, I can see four different FF team pairings, despite only 3 clearly FF team photos on the Prom Queen board, meaning one was eliminated in NYC.
1. Ladies in blue, dark hair and light hair, teal shoes (on page 1)
2. Ladies in purple/pink, both brunettes, purple backpacks, black shoes (on page 1)
3. Ladies in hot pink, dark hair and light hair, pink shoes (on page 1)
4. Two girls, one of whom is clearly of African descent (page 3)
The only possibility I can think of is 1 and 3 being the same team, both teams having one brunette and one blonde...but why would they have brought not only 2 different color schemes, 2 clearly different pairs of shoes which they wore on the same day, and 2 differently-designed backpacks? It's obvious that 4 is a team, because while you can change your clothes or dye your hair (although aside from head-shavings, who would have time/be allowed to dye their hair on the Race?), you can't change your race. The Prom Queen board shows the non-white FF team, as well as two FF teams with dark hair/light hair combos...so are the 2 brunettes in purple/pink with black shoes a decoy team?
Or maybe I'm just nuts and should get back to working on my dissertation...
Edit: Also, disappointed that we don't have any old-people teams or Orthodox Jewish teams (from what I can tell) on this season. I can't remember the last time American TAR had an old people team. According to Wiki, the last team to have a member over the age of 60 was Hoskote/Naina (who?) in season 23 and the last actual "old people" team were Bill/Cathi, 10 seasons ago (!), although they both could have passed for at least a decade younger. One of the things I liked about classic TAR was the diverse casting, these past few American seasons have had mostly interchangeable young FF/young MM/young couples, unlike Big Brother which has rarely cast anyone over the age of 50 (they exist too!), and Survivor (although IIRC, an inordinate amount of the older folks they've cast have been medevaced - Joe, Bruce, Papa Bear, Mike from Samoa, Gary from Fiji - and Rudy was considered for one of the returning players seasons after All Stars but was ultimately axed because he's really, really old now)

In the recent years Kyrgyzstan has become more touristic destination for israelis trekkers and there are a lot of organized tours to Kyrgyzstan. This is not the same with Kazakhstan. Unfortunately, Kazakhstan is still not a popular destination for Israelis. Therefore, I think they visited Kyrgyzstan rather than Kazakhstan.

Pretty much the extent of what I know about the region is that Kazakhstan is where they land space capsules, and has the Aral Sea which is rapidly drying up. And Turkmenistan has the "Door to Hell", which is that hole of flaming natural gas that's been burning for decades.

Looks like you were correct, the preview of the next episode in Mexico City included this greeter.
However, now I think that there are two legs in Mexico. On the show's Facebook was a video previewing the tasks in Mexico. Some of the tasks included wearing a balloon dress in a field of cacti, eating peppers, and mashing corn none of which were featured in the episode 10 preview.

Correct.
The preview of this episode showed teams transferring bugs from one box to another and lifting a large slab to find something underneath, so it is unlikely that all of these tasks will be in one episode. Also, in that video during the corn mashing task, Yarden is wearing a no-sleeve shirt while in this and next episode she is wearing a shirt with short sleeves.

Russia and Thailand for sure. We saw the flags in Moscow, and Thailand is the final country (filmed much later after the rest of the race, that's just how HaMerotz does it to protect the final results)

IIRC the Japan speculation arose when a picture of the Mexico City greeter surfaced. The only evidence of a visit to Switzerland was a photo Ron Shahar posted to Instagram. Looking back that might have been a connection between Montego Bay and Moscow. After Kyrgyzstan we might have one more surprise country before the final two legs.

Sorry, I accidently forgot Neta and Omer. According to the leaker (and we saw that he was right about Adi and Meytar), Neta and omer will be alliminated after Regev and Helen. That means the list of the allimination is:

5. Regev and Helen - probably Kyrgyzstan

They may have 2 pitstops in Kyrgyzstan. According to one of the photographers (https://www.instagram.com/cineramik/), they stayed in Kyrgyzstan between the 30th of May and the 3rd of June. for example, New York leg was taken in only 2 days.

IIRC the Japan speculation arose when a picture of the Mexico City greeter surfaced. The only evidence of a visit to Switzerland was a photo Ron Shahar posted to Instagram. Looking back that might have been a connection between Montego Bay and Moscow. After Kyrgyzstan we might have one more surprise country before the final two legs.

It seems Switzerland is not included in the list of countries visited for this season and that means its going to rule out for now. There is a missing country between Kyrgyzstan and Thailand (leg 11).

Plus Istanbul is one of the main cities that has flights to/from Bishkek (the other being Moscow)
I wouldn’t say it’s confirmed, but it’s a very good guess- I’d say it’s possible

It's possible with either two back-to-back F4 NEL's, or a F3 NEL before the final leg, but is that likely at this point?

I just saw on Wikipedia the next leg after Kyrgyzstan will be Thailand. Anything to have a chance with Turkey visit?
