She wasn’t supposed to be there. Sierra Dawn Thomas made it all the way to the casting finals of Survivor: Game Changers, only to be told “Thanks, but no thanks.” But then fate intervened. After San Juan del Sur champ Natalie Anderson backed out at the last minute, Sierra was tracked down at a rodeo to rush out to Fiji and fill the 20th and final spot.

Can I say this?
A week before the game, I looked on Natalia A's instagram and she posted how she was studying for a bio final (if I remember correctly). I don't know if the post was deleted but it could be a reason why she declined.

I don't think so.
Seems to be related to her post-concussion syndrome (PCS). She is also taking a break from school.
Wise decisions, but bound to be so so disappointing for her.

After receiving a text from her classmate and good friend, Pete saying "A Champion Knows When To Rest," Natalie decided to take a medical leave from school, but plans on re-enrolling this fall ...

This was all over twitter when the cast was spoilt, hence why Sierra's inclusion in this cast has become an ongoing joke. :lol:

yeah she was great in del sur, but that bc not too many great strategist in that season & the challenge warriors got vote out early
what i really mean is that can you imagine if that two twinnie had a change to play as power couple in del sur? they would wreak havoc :bump

Nah, Natalie wouldn't have done nearly as well had Nadiya still been in the game. Having her gone relieved a huge target off of Nat's back and allowed her to gain loyal allies and play more fearlessly.
Plus the casuals hated both of them heavily since the cast reveal, and once Nadiya was voted out, they slowly grew to like Natalie and in the end were really happy for her win. :)

if keith didn't blow the plan, Jon would be voted out & second Nat alliance will be decimated, reed, wes, alec & keith will be F4
