Aarif & Immad have utilized Meadow (a friend)'s contacts to stay off the targets. Command Center found them but they get tipped off to leave.

Aarif & Immad call Meadow and try to get a new contact that's not that close to Meadow. They, however, think it's too big of a risk and leave. Command Center tracked the call and is trying to figure out where they're headed.

Strategy to make friends to take them in along the way

On the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, Miles & Will begin to go on the run.
They decide to try to be flirty and escape by getting connections they know nothing about.

We're back.
Aarif & Immad: Command Center has tracked down Jill (Meadow's contact). They try to ask her questions, she doesn't give out too much.
Sentra & Thu: Begin to go on the run. They have been lifelong friends and think they can figure out anything.
Sentra begins to write phone numbers down because she plans to ditch their phones and get a burner!

In Savannah, Georgia, Lee & Hilmar are trying to figure out how they infiltrated their contacts.
They call Lee's wife and wonder how it happened. She tells them about the butt dial.
Sentra & Thu have stayed in South Carolina. They stayed in a graveyard at a church parking lot? What? :lol:
Thu calls Rob, a friend, and they decide to meet. They know they'll be seen at the gas station and plan to get cash and instantly flee.

You know, they could EASILY have made this show TWICE as long and shown more footage. We are not getting enough on each team.

I liked what I saw but here is where the 60 minute timeframe begins to screw with us.
The UK version focused on 3 teams tops in 40ish minutes. This one tried to focus on FOUR.
It feels very very rushed at times and it shows.

You did great!! We covered the highlights anyway. But totally agree, they are way short on time. And they are covering things in a weird order. Chele and Tony were elim'd on day 18 and billed as team 3 to be eliminated. We can see now that is not true...looks like the guys went out before them. I don't like inaccurate reporting. :duno:

Yeah I agree. They really need to end it with AT LEAST an expositional closing statement like "X & X spent X days on the run" to help clear out the timeline.

It is like having two separate shows: the teams and the Hunters. Can you imagine if they had to squeeze racer AND production POV into 42 minutes?

Why did they only go for 8 episodes? I agree that this episode was rushed and confusing.
Also, I hate how they do not givd accurate placings. And I don't get the idea behind it. I understand that nothing interesting was happening with Troy & Chele, but they could've just been given a UTR edit until they were eliminated in an episode that tuly showcased their placement.
God, production needs to be more critical of the elisodes and the season as a whole when editing next time.

I think the boy did pretty good but they have no plan B. They should have someone to call on, backing up than depending completely on strangers.

God, production needs to be more critical of the elisodes and the season as a whole when editing next time.
To be fair, with the placements, that's how the editing works in the UK version and it is executed flawlessly, as each episode only focuses on 2 teams or 3 at the most, with the third being usually UTR, it allows for truly rich and organic RTV storytelling - you will never finish a season without the sense that each fugitive has a certain story arc that was complete, in only SIX episodes. It's not with the number of episodes, but how it is presented.
Unfortunately, this episode of the US version was rushed simply because they focused too on too many teams to carry it and we fail to get the exposition on how many days a team actually lasted, unlike the UK.
It should improve beginning next week, as we will have finally met the entire cast. Hoping for the best because it already looks like this was renewed for a Season 2 as the Twitter of the show posted they were looking for fugitives :)

Posters are always used if I'm not mistaken, they were only shown being used against the boys and Troy & Chele because in that case, they worked. I wouldn't see how Command Center wouldn't utilize posters against everyone considering a flier takes 30 minutes tops to create in MS Word.
