How come no one created a Bitch, Moan & Squeal thread for TARA 5 yet?
I'll start. How come they only visited South-East Asia this season? Was expecting a route with more variety, and at least Taiwan or Mainland China. Is it because of the Grab sponsorship?

The Indonesia sponsor. They promised to based 5 LEGS in Indonesia. I don't think ANYONE's happy with that...

Tbh I like the Indonesia part, except Jakarta, but I guess it's Indonesia's main city. Apart from Vigan everything has been visited before. Instead of KL and Penang they could of gone to Melaka and Langkawi. Instead of Phuket they could've gone to Kanchanburi or Cambodia. Instead of HCMC Hanoi, Vigan is a nice new place, and I mean you can't really change Singapore, also I love the country so :hearts:.

There's only one pre-season negative I could draw. It's not technically TAR Asia, more like TAR ASEAN. Where are the teams from Japan, South Korea, India and UAE? Asia is big with lots of countries, they could have widened their cast. Filipino cast are once again celebrities :groan:.

Jakarta doesn't seem so bad to me, but I guess that's because the US has never touched it in all their visits to the country (which is surprising. It IS the capital :P )

Tbh i really love how TARA visited parts of Indonesia 5 LEGS, well because "wonderful Indonesia"'s sponsor... As Indonesian i'm really ecstatic about it... But they mainly visited city that TAR had already visited it (except Jakarta and Banyuwangi)... Bali is 4x now in franchise.... What i mean is they could've visited some parts of Indonesia that never been explored by TAR such as Malang, Sumatra's region, or even Papua.. I mean they have sponsored by indonesian tourism ministry but why only these main city that represented (except banyuwangi) ??? I'm just so confused....
For the cast, as long it's entertaining me... I don't have any problem, but we could've had diversity team from Asia's countries... This is TARA not TAR ASEAN...

I LOOOOOOOVE that TARA5 uses Microgramma instead of Bank Gothic for their on-screen Route Info graphics which overall look much better than TARUS, tbh.

HATE how 2 eliminations on the first leg! Just disgusting. I don't think I'll watch the season now. That has ruined it for me...

I watched the first leg and it's underwhelming and lame in the editing?

Despite the ruined premiere and penultimate leg, TARA 5 is a great compensation for fans who impatiently waiting for season 29... Really solid cast, solid season, inspiring moments and much much more, really worthy to rewatch
Hope the final leg will be as amazing as the season's represent....

I'm not rafael, but the starting line elimination really hurt the premier leg for me. Every time I watch the opening credits, I find myself wondering what we missed by not having Lisa and Nic in the race. Otherwise, I thought it was a decent leg.
As for the latest penultimate leg, that may have been the most poorly designed leg ever. It just screamed out for the teams to band together and get the strongest or 2nd strongest team out. Even worse, putting the U-Turn board before the Detour just twisted the knife and made it obvious going in that U-Turned team had virtually no chance to survive.
Now I understand why Allan was making numerous comments last week about how the teams weren't Yielding or U-Turning each other and that maybe it would change now that teams were getting closer to the finals.

Tbh, altough this season is amazing, i just contemplated that they should have been outside-ASEAN casts like japan, South Korea, or even China... And traveled to outside Asia for 2-4 legs, it would have been greater than we had gotten this season.... Note for producer for S6
And one freaking important note for producers :
NEVER PUT ANY F*****G RACE POWER INTO PENULTIMATE LEG LYK REALLY... IT'S HURTING MY EYES OFF
