People hated TAR Canada 3? Really?? I find that hard to believe...

TARC3 is the weakest of the 3 so far despite having a few great teams. The last 2-3 episodes drag the season down. And literally, the last few minutes of the finale were just horrible. “You don’t need to travel somewhere else! [Canada's got everything you need!]" :barf

TARCAN3 had:
-An AWFUL route (Spending the penultimate leg going to a gas station and a dump :res:)
-An AWFUL bootlist
-The WORST Canadian legs ever put to film
-Even the International legs were meh.

TAR19 is actually really fun especially upon rewatching. Malawi onward to Panama is such a joy ride for me. (Esp. the Panama City Penultimate which I considered one of the top ten episode of TAR all times <3)

Teams are being too nice to each other on season 19
Even Cindy who is not a true villain received a villain edit to create some dramas (yet it successed, only for one leg)
It was so boring for me to finish the season, especially during the first 7 legs

Yes! I've actually had a rather strange craving to do this lately. And I've written an essay so I hope y'all enjoy it. :funny:
Here goes nothing (with some commentary). From best to worst.
Ranking the Seasons:1
1. TAR 12: This season, as one blogger claimed, had a little bit of everything you could love about TAR. I agree with that sentiment. I also think that the cast, while largely being from California, was a very entertaining one. The route and tasks were equally stellar. It's so interesting, because at the beginning of the season, I had very low hopes for this season (with the budget cuts and all), but things turned out amazingly well in terms of entertainment value.
2. TAR 11: This race has also grown on me over time. The cast was (mostly) well-chosen, and while the tasks were not always amazing, the random, completely unexpected things that happened (Rob & Amber getting booted after three straight wins, the flight snafu from Leg 6, etc.) made the season uniquely entertaining. One of my personal favorites.
3. TAR 7: This race was just a classic. It has the villains (Rob & Amber), the unexpected heroes (Uchenna & Joyce), the dark horse team (Meredith & Gretchen), and lots of memorable moments. I really liked this race's unique route as well. If I were to introduce someone to TAR, this is probably the first season I would go to.
4. TAR 5: A lot like Season 7, for most of the same reasons. In fact, I don't think there's much I need to add.
5. TAR 17: The rare newer season that manages to distinguish itself from the fray. And it wasn't because it had the first all-female team to win, either. In reality, it was the awesome locations, the awesome cast (there were maybe one or two poorly-chosen teams, but most of them were very memorable, even the first team out), and the sheer entertainment value. It helped that we had Brook & Claire to narrate the entire journey.
6. TAR 6: While many people don't particularly like this season, I find it amazing for a few reasons: It had some of the most photogenic locations ever featured on the race. The places they visited in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, China, and Hawaii were all beautiful destinations. The cast, while not necessarily always nice to one another, was filled with memorable characters (I honestly feel like every team on this season has become a sort of archetype for all TAR teams in many ways), and, if you exclude Jonathan & Victoria, was actually quite an amazing cast. Didn't love the outcome (who really wanted the winners to win?), but I loved most everything else.
7. TAR 9: Honestly, this race course was also an amazing one. The destinations (Brazil, Italy, Greece, Oman, and Japan) were very memorable. The teams were also quite entertaining, and even thought the outcome was fairly predictable, it was always hilarious and fun to watch. I loved the antics of BJ & Tyler, in all their ensuing hilarity.
8. TAR 10: This season had amazing potential. The race course was the most eclectic one I've ever seen, and the teams were teeming with diversity and potential for entertainment. And in the beginning, they delivered. Unfortunately a lot of the more interesting teams fell out early, but we did get to see some unexpectedly strong teams (like Dustin & Kandice) emerge. I think this race would have been drastically better if the boot order had just been dramatically altered.
9. TAR 13: After a recent re-watch, this season has moved up for me. On the surface, this season doesn't seem to have great prospects: It's cast seems stereotypical, its route is unique but seems bland. But entertainment value is at a ten the entire time. I really liked the inter-team dynamics of the season - there was a good balance of rivalry and chivalry. The cast unexpectedly turned out to be very entertaining to watch. Finally, many of the tasks were also memorable and entertaining.
10. TAR 22: This is the best of the post-18 seasons I've seen. (I've only seen this one and 23 so that may not be saying much.) I really like this cast as well. I feel like this season's tasks were (mostly) not memorable - I can only remember a few of them, in fact.
11. TAR 18: I remember very little of this season, but I know that it was middling for me - not amazing, but not horrible either. I despised the fact that any team had to be "automatically U-turned" on Leg 1, and it's even worse that it had to be Amanda & Kris.
12. TAR 14: This season is often more popular in people's rankings. I'll admit that I enjoyed the first four legs. But after that, it wasn't very fun to watch. The editing in this season seemed horribly biased in favor of some teams, despite all the claims of it being improved. The route was kind of a fun one though.
13. TAR 16: This season has several problems for me. One is that the whole race seemed to be focused on the drama between two rival teams - and it was not normal drama. It was unhealthy and mean-spirited. Too many of the tasks seemed manufactured (like the Detour on Leg 5) and there was a really odd editing obsession with Jet & Cord (that continued in TAR 18 as well). Finally, the route was mostly non-memorable (although the South America and Seychelles legs were nice.)
14. TAR 23: Maybe this one wasn't so bad for one of the newer seasons, but like most of the newer seasons I've seen, nothing really sticks out to me one way or another. I know I didn't particularly like two of the Final 3 teams (and even the third one was kind of meh for me), but I also seem to remember many of the early boot teams being very likable. The route was unmemorable too (at least for me).
15. TAR 15: Kicking a team out before giving them a real chance to race (leading to them completely quitting instead of going to Elimination Station like normal), throwing together the most sloppily-edited, last-minute-looking intro sequence ever2, and leaving a predictable (and mostly irritating - think Sam & Dan and Brian & Ericka) Final 3, led to this season being one of the worst for me. In fact, I don't think I've ever re-watched any of its episodes since it aired. And I don't really want to. Though it is ironic that that was the season where I won the Pick'em Game. I guess the awful seasons are more predictable than the good ones. :funny:
16. TAR 24: I really liked Dave & Connor (unlike most people), but I agree that this race was likely the absolute worst, due to a combination of atrocious casting and an unmemorable race course. I couldn't be happier with the final outcome though, so at least there's that. :funny:
Overall, I am heavily biased toward the more "classic" seasons. However, let's face it: The newer seasons (at least as of TAR 24) are just not the same. If they were, I would actually feel some desire to watch them right now. :(
Notes:
1. I have also seen seasons 1, 3, and 4, but don't feel I remember them well enough to appropriately rank them. For some reason, I still haven't seen Season 2. ???
2. Seriously though. Go re-watch it if you haven't recently. Garrett & Jessica and Brian & Ericka are shown racing while everyone else is shown in their pre-race clips. Ew.

The fact that you don't understand me and TARPH does not have English subtitles means that your ranking of the worst International versions most likely stem from the wiki and wiki-reading does NOT equal watching the season.
And how is Asia 4 'yuck' when it has your favorite country of Australia visited? How is Ukraine bad? How does Canada 2 have bad contestants? How is Latin America bad?

Also I "watched" HMLM 1 and 2 and from what I could understand through what was aired and through no context whatsoever I liked both ^_^ (Hanna & Margalit <3 Tom & Adele <3).
Similarly I "watched" Latin America 1-4 and while I could understand it *enough* to point out, again, 300,000 first-come first-served physical tasks (even though a team I liked *won* because of that [Tamara <3]) I've forgotten enough Spanish to miss out on a lot of context (and I think some teams - Maxi & Demi especially - made a lot of fun references that were lost on me not being native to Latin America in general).

TAR 29 was hands down an amazing season for me!

I'm leaving out 8 because I've never watched it because I couldn't make it through two episodes.
1. Amazing Race 9 - my favorite of all time. It had great teams like BJ and Tyler (my favorite of all time) and Fran and Barry, to name a couple, great locations like Palermo, Greece, Oman and Perth, great tasks like the Oman roadblock and the Thailand fast forward, and just so many twists and turns. Loved watching the hilarious rivalry between the "Frat Boys" and the animosity of MoJo towards the hippies and then getting eliminated in Thailand. Also loved how it ended and started in the exact same place so it is the only season to truly circumnavigate the world (yes I know TAR 1 and 6 also ended in the same start city, but not same starting line as the finish line) and I loved that final roadblock and that twist with it. This was the funnest to watch.
2. Amazing Race 5 - Great tasks. Great locations. Great teams. Like come on, they went to Egypt! What's not to love about this season? The only reason why this is below 9 is because 9 had better humor and was a bit more fun to watch. But it's a very close second. Also. am I the only one that didn't really like Mirna? Charla I liked but sometimes Mirna would really annoy/piss me off.
3. Amazing Race 25 - This is easily the best of the new seasons. It veered away from a lot of overvisited countries, and when they went to the overvisited countries, they went to locales not really visited too much (like the Shetland Islands and Palermo). The teams were mostly great. The twists throughout were just insane, especially that final leg, and even more importantly, that twist of a final 4 at the end of the Philippines. Speaking of the Philippines, LOVE how they had that switchback. This is a very close third. The editing was really great, because without that editing, we would've never known the winners. The editing made me think the surfers or dentists were going to win.
4. Amazing Race 7 - Another close call. These top seasons are really all such good seasons. Hated Rob and Amber, but they made it so interesting. The locations visited were amazing. Loved the casting. Loved that play of karma with the Fast Forward in India. And how can one not love Uchenna and Joyce? Honestly not sure how I feel about the circle-style course, but overall a great season.
5. Amazing Race 11 - Unlike the new All-Stars, this was a FANTASTIC season. The casting was great - they mostly picked teams that were very memorable but I would've loved to see the Chos from Season 10, the brothers from 7 or the clowns from 4, or if they were to have picked another 1st place team I would've loved to see BJ and Tyler (can you tell I really like them?) but other than that it was great (plus I have a gut feeling that one day they'll do a winners-only or most memorable teams ever season so I'll probably see BJ and Tyler again). Made the mistake of watching the seasons out of order (PLEASE DON'T DO THIS, NEW VIEWERS) so I already knew who would win in the final leg, seeing as I watched season 17 first. The twists throughout were so good, and the locations were pretty good (not great, as they visit a lot of overvisited places like Argentina and Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong) plus they went to every continent. One of my favorite seasons to rewatch.
6. Amazing Race 12 - Ah, season 12. Not only did it have great locations, but it was incredibly entertaining to watch. Very memorable teams and places, for one thing. I'm very surprised that they haven't gone to Florence more than just that dip in this season, but I loved it. Five new countries! Also, the team that I was so sure was gonna win it all getting eliminated in Croatia was such a twist and, in my opinion, it had the best final roadblock ever. Great to watch the growth of Ron and Christina—this and 13 were really the only seasons that you saw a growth in a team. I've seen it as number 1 several times, and I'll agree that it definitely belongs up in the top tier.
7. Amazing Race 17 - This was the season that got me into the Amazing Race! I was a fan of Kevin (KevJumba) so I watched this season until he got eliminated and then decided to watch it all the way through a year or two later and I realized how much I loved this show. One of the great things about this is how strong the teams are, to the point that a strong team like Connor and Jonathan are eliminated early. It had several strong female teams, which pretty much every season before and after has lacked, and it had great locations. I'm honestly so surprised that this is the only appearance of Boston anywhere on the race. 17 will always have a place in my heart.
8. Amazing Race 10 - In my opinion, this season had the best locations of any season. Six countries that are only visited in Season 10! The teams were really entertaining to watch for the most part. Am I the only one who's not that big of a fan of Dustin and Kandice? They were entertaining to watch but, ugh, sometimes they REALLY irked me, especially when they called Team Bama "the sistas". Loved how they visited Ha Long Bay. Really wish the race would go back to Mongolia sometime soon. Also another season where the team I expected to win got out earlier (the triathletes). Great season.
9. Amazing Race 22 - Another season with great locations. That second roadblock in Tahiti was INSANE and I really have a gut feeling that if they return in the future, it will become a switchback. Great teams to watch, and Dave's ruptured achilles completely changed the rest of the race. Loved the switchback in Switzerland (one of the few good things about 14, but we'll get to that later). This was definitely one of the better seasons of the newer seasons.
10. Amazing Race 29 - I was really surprised about how well this season came out. I really thought it was gonna be total s*** because the last time they did blind teams it turned out to be an awful season (again, we'll get to that later). Great locations! Makes me think that van Bertram is on an upswing with the course design. Most, and I emphasize "most", were very likable, with the unlikable teams being VERY unlikable. I found it SO hilarious how Vanck picked Ashton. I liked the twist with the U-Turns being before the detour AND also being able to U-Turn more than once. The one thing that I don't like about this season, and the reason why casual watchers hate this season, is the winners. And that last leg was pretty terrible because it was so easy. There's so much more you can do with Chicago. But overall, really liked this season and can't wait to rewatch this season soon (I've spent the past 10 or so months rewatching all of them in order and I'm currently on 24).
11. Amazing Race 2 - DANNY AND OSWALD!! Loved them and I was so glad that they were brought back for All-Stars. The locations were great, other than the fact that they completely skipped Europe and it's kind of annoying that they had teams fly through Europe to get to Cape Town but completely avoided the continent otherwise. Best final leg moment ever with that final sprint. Loved this season.
12. Amazing Race 21 - Will start off by saying that the one thing I cannot tolerate about this season is those f***ing twinnies. Easily the most annoying team ever. Period. That being said, this season had so many twists and turns, like with Abbie and Ryan and James and Abba (why the f*** were they not brought back for All-Stars instead of those twinnies???) and then of course the final leg. Actually had some great tasks like the pizza task in the final leg, the synchronized swimming, and the time zone task in Russia. What is it with losing passports in Russian taxis? One of the better good seasons.
13. Amazing Race 19 - Why is this so far down on so many people's lists? And why did people not like the snowboarders? I thought they were really cool and funny guys and entertaining to watch. Also am I the only one that did not like Ernie and Cindy? Okay, so now about the season. Lots of great teams — Amani and Marcus, Justin and Jennifer, the snowboarders, Bill and Cathi (RIP Bill :(), Laurence and Zac (although Laurence really would piss me off with some ***ist things he would say), the twins—mostly great casting. Still very confused about the Hazard, probably one the reasons they never brought it back. LOVED the double elimination. Loved the locations. I don't understand why people rate this so low.
14. Amazing Race 3 - Pretty good season. Who can forget Flo and Zach? Really was so sure the twins were gonna win the whole thing based on editing, so great editing on the part of the editors. You had SO many great teams too, like how does one not like this casting? Many people have this higher on their list and I honestly probably would but I don't remember too much about this season, despite having watched it multiple times.
15. Amazing Race 18 - Only reason why it's up here is because it was really really fun to watch. Way too many teams from 14, would've liked to see Dallas and Toni because they definitely had "unfinished business" and there were no teams from 13. Good choice in bringing back the Globetrotters and Cowboys—two of my favorite teams ever, much to the dismay of a lot of other hardcore Amazing Race lovers. Had some pretty good tasks like the tea challenge, measuring of Liechtenstein, the chocolate gnome, the Viennese meal, and the samba, but also some too easy tasks like the waterfall detour in Japan, the chimney sweep in Salzburg, and the entire second leg in Australia. Locations were mediocre (several overvisited countries: Japan, China, India, Switzerland, and Brazil). It was a good season to watch, though. I really hope they do this "unfinished business" concept again (maybe that'll be TAR 30!).
16. Amazing Race 23 - I'll start off with one word: hypocrites. We'll get back to that. All the good teams, with the exception of Leo and Jamal and Tim and Marie (although I don't know if I'd call them "good", I'd call them "really entertaining) got out too early leaving us with meh teams and teams I didn't like. Now going back to hypocrites, the hypocrisy of Amy and Jason and Travis and Nicole REALLY REALLY pissed me off and one the main reasons that it's not as high as it could be. Also, three couples in the final 3? Made it a really uninteresting final three. The locations, Leo and Jamal, and Tim and Marie are really what saves this season.
17. Amazing Race 13 - An all right season. The casting was mediocre, although it was really great to see the progression in Tina and Ken's relationship. The locations, on the other hand, were FABULOUS. Bolivia, New Zealand (loved how Phil's dad was a greeter), Cambodia, Kazakhstan (that fast forward though, WOW), Portland—all great locations. One of the things I don't like about this season is the same thing I don't like about 15, 20, and 27 - not much diversity in winning teams. Plus I really didn't like Nick and Starr. Honestly though, this season doesn't really stand out to me and isn't too memorable, which is why it's so low.
18. Amazing Race 28 - Another all right season. Kind of sick of these gimmick seasons, to be honest. Liked how they visited Colombia, Armenia and Georgia, and I liked how all the teams (with the exception of the instragram models and the dancers) were all really likable. I think a lot of the tasks were too easy and/or uninteresting, such as the produce detour in Bali and the painting Detour in Shenzhen. But like I said, it was an all right season.
19. Amazing Race 24: Actually the season I'm rewatching right now. First off, the course design was terrible. Double legs in the first four countries, yuck. Unmemorable legs like the second Sri Lankan leg and the Switzerland leg. Tasks were mostly too easy. And oh boy, the casting. I personally liked the bringing back of the Cowboys and Globetrotters, because the only the other team that brought humor was Leo and Jamal. But so many teams are not "All Star" material: Brenchels, John and Jessica, Twinnies (all-star annoying though), country singers. Better teams that actually were All-Star material: Kynt and Vyxin, Zev and Justin, Bill and Cathi, Jaymes and James, James and Abba, Chuck and Wynona, Roller Derby Moms, Season 23 Beards, to name some. Another returning team season with only 3 continents. This did not live up to 11.
20. Amazing Race 1: Maybe I don't appreciate it as much as other people because of how I watched the seasons out of order. But to me, it's paced too slowly, and so many other elements about the editing I really don't enjoy. The map is really boring except some of the African countries because they're all places that people know: Paris, Rome, Bangkok, Beijing, Johannesburg. So many unmemorable teams. I will say I enjoyed the last few legs, but other than, didn't particularly enjoy this season.
21. Amazing Race 27: Was really excited about this because this was the first season I got to see live on television (I got cable for the first time when I moved out to college in 2015). The casting was pretty good except for the Green Team (one of my least favorite teams ever), TMZ, and the Reporters (which I found to be a really bland team). The locations were also pretty boring except for maybe Zimbabwe, Krakow, and Macao. Disliked this season for the same reason I didn't like 13 too much. Thought it was stupid and uncreative how Texas's speed bump was for both to do the roadblock, because the reason it's called a speed bump is because it's just a hitch in the road where as a roadblock is something you have to put in effort to pass through, so that automatically doomed Texas plus the U-Turn (thought it was stupid to have it be a single u-turn). Wasn't really fun to watch.
22. Amazing Race 16: Two really good things about this season: the Cowboys and the Seychelles. Other than that, it was a pretty boring and unmemorable season. Brandi and Carole may be my least favorite team of all time, although from what I see, some people on here actually like them? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Dan and Jordan were okay up until the last leg which really pissed me off. People don't seem to like the policemen, but I actually really liked them and I like how they humbled up. Pretty much all of the other teams, with the exception of Brent and Caite, were unmemorable. Had some really great moments like when Steve and Allie painted some random guy's house and the cowboys incident in the Seychelles, but other than that, not a great season.
23. Amazing Race 14: I saw somebody somewhere say that this season had the most mean-spirited teams, and I have to say I agree. The hillbillies, cheerleaders, Kisha and Jen, Preston and Jennifer, and at times Margie and Luke, Tammy and Victor, and Mark and Michael — all mean-spirited. Other than that, the only really memorable team was Mel and Mike, and they happened to also be the only purely lovable team of the race, and the flight attendants seemed nice too. The map was pretty boring except I really liked how they went to Siberia. I will say, this race had great tasks, like the final surfboard task, the cheese task, the running in Siberia task, the Bavarian mountain roadblock, to name a few. Not a great season.
24. Amazing Race 20: The one thing that really saves this season is Mark and Bopper. Art and JJ were all right too (although it seems a lot of people don't like them and I don't really understand why). Again with a lot of over visited countries, like Argentina, Italy, Germany, India, and Japan. Again, the dominance of Rachel and Dave really hurt this season and OH MY GOD BRENDAN AND RACHEL (why were they brought back????). Again, not a great season and one of the worst of the newer seasons.
25. Amazing Race 6: First off, I'll say this season had Amazing locations. Iceland, Senegal, Berlin, Budapest, Corsica, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka — all great locations. Also, this season had really great tasks (after all, TAR 6 led to the first ever switchback). But what killed it is the casting. 6/11 teams were couples, and such dislikable teams like Jonathan and Victoria, Freddie and Kendra. Adam was annoying af. The only teams I at least kind of liked that made it at least somewhat far were Gus and Hera, Lori and Bolo and Jon and Kris, but I use "likable" very carefully because most of the teams were really bland. The locations and the task gave it such good potential but the casting made it just so awful. Plus, the editing was too slow for my taste.
26. Amazing Race 15: Locations gave it great potential, once again, and it had some really good tasks (plus it introduced the switchback). We got to see Vietnam, Cambodia, Estonia, and Prague, which could've gave it great potential but again the casting killed it. Only 3 1/2 teams worth rooting for: the Globetrotters, Zev and Justin, Matt and Gary, and Brian. Everyone else was just awful or bland. And then once again, the dominating team, who happened to, once again, be a very bland team. Not really a great season.
27. Amazing Race 4: Pretty much everything about this season is unmemorable. Am I the only one who didn't like Chip and Reichen? The clowns and the visits to Venice, Kota Kinabalu and Seoul were really there only good things about this race, and also happen to be the only really memorable thing about this race. Most of the first 11 seasons were great, but man, this was not a good one.
28. Amazing Race 26: I saw on the first page this season being in some people's top tiers. How??? First off, I, for one, really am not a fan of these gimmick seasons. One of the great things I like about the Amazing Race is the diversity of different teams so having a season that was only couples just didn't really sit well with me. None of the blind dates worked except maybe Jeff and Jackie. The locations were mediocre, with only Namibia, Monaco and Peru standing out, and none of the teams really stand out except Hayley and Blair because of their amusing bickering. I really hope that in the next All Stars/Unfinished Business they don't bring back anybody from this season because this was easily the worst season (not counting Amazing Race 8 ).

For me it's 1) because of the reviews I've heard of it but mostly 2) the fact that I couldn't even make it through two episodes, which says something because I'll still have no problem even watching 26, despite it being on the bottom. But it's also why I left 8 out in the ranking because I couldn't make full judgment on it because maybe it's just that the first episodes are slow so maybe sometime in the future I'll try watching it again and update my rankings accordingly

TAR8 cast is honestly one of the best in the entire franchise. You definitely should watch it and it is very underrated.

I didn't necessarily like TAR8, but I think it's important for any TAR fan to watch it, since it's part of TAR history and was a completely different concept.

I'm leaving out 8 because I've never watched it because I couldn't make it through two episodes.
1. Amazing Race 9 - my favorite of all time. It had great teams like BJ and Tyler (my favorite of all time) and Fran and Barry, to name a couple, great locations like Palermo, Greece, Oman and Perth, great tasks like the Oman roadblock and the Thailand fast forward, and just so many twists and turns. Loved watching the hilarious rivalry between the "Frat Boys" and the animosity of MoJo towards the hippies and then getting eliminated in Thailand. Also loved how it ended and started in the exact same place so it is the only season to truly circumnavigate the world (yes I know TAR 1 and 6 also ended in the same start city, but not same starting line as the finish line) and I loved that final roadblock and that twist with it. This was the funnest to watch.
2. Amazing Race 5 - Great tasks. Great locations. Great teams. Like come on, they went to Egypt! What's not to love about this season? The only reason why this is below 9 is because 9 had better humor and was a bit more fun to watch. But it's a very close second. Also. am I the only one that didn't really like Mirna? Charla I liked but sometimes Mirna would really annoy/piss me off.
3. Amazing Race 25 - This is easily the best of the new seasons. It veered away from a lot of overvisited countries, and when they went to the overvisited countries, they went to locales not really visited too much (like the Shetland Islands and Palermo). The teams were mostly great. The twists throughout were just insane, especially that final leg, and even more importantly, that twist of a final 4 at the end of the Philippines. Speaking of the Philippines, LOVE how they had that switchback. This is a very close third. The editing was really great, because without that editing, we would've never known the winners. The editing made me think the surfers or dentists were going to win.
4. Amazing Race 7 - Another close call. These top seasons are really all such good seasons. Hated Rob and Amber, but they made it so interesting. The locations visited were amazing. Loved the casting. Loved that play of karma with the Fast Forward in India. And how can one not love Uchenna and Joyce? Honestly not sure how I feel about the circle-style course, but overall a great season.

Thought it was stupid and uncreative how Texas's speed bump was for both to do the roadblock, because the reason it's called a speed bump is because it's just a hitch in the road where as a roadblock is something you have to put in effort to pass through, so that automatically doomed Texas plus the U-Turn (thought it was stupid to have it be a single u-turn). Wasn't really fun to watch.
22. Amazing Race 16: Two really good things about this season: the Cowboys and the Seychelles. Other than that, it was a pretty boring and unmemorable season. Brandi and Carole may be my least favorite team of all time, although from what I see, some people on here actually like them? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Dan and Jordan were okay up until the last leg which really pissed me off. People don't seem to like the policemen, but I actually really liked them and I like how they humbled up. Pretty much all of the other teams, with the exception of Brent and Caite, were unmemorable. Had some really great moments like when Steve and Allie painted some random guy's house and the cowboys incident in the Seychelles, but other than that, not a great season.
23. Amazing Race 14: I saw somebody somewhere say that this season had the most mean-spirited teams, and I have to say I agree. The hillbillies, cheerleaders, Kisha and Jen, Preston and Jennifer, and at times Margie and Luke, Tammy and Victor, and Mark and Michael — all mean-spirited. Other than that, the only really memorable team was Mel and Mike, and they happened to also be the only purely lovable team of the race, and the flight attendants seemed nice too. The map was pretty boring except I really liked how they went to Siberia. I will say, this race had great tasks, like the final surfboard task, the cheese task, the running in Siberia task, the Bavarian mountain roadblock, to name a few. Not a great season.
24. Amazing Race 20: The one thing that really saves this season is Mark and Bopper. Art and JJ were all right too (although it seems a lot of people don't like them and I don't really understand why). Again with a lot of over visited countries, like Argentina, Italy, Germany, India, and Japan. Again, the dominance of Rachel and Dave really hurt this season and OH MY GOD BRENDAN AND RACHEL (why were they brought back????). Again, not a great season and one of the worst of the newer seasons.
25. Amazing Race 6: First off, I'll say this season had Amazing locations. Iceland, Senegal, Berlin, Budapest, Corsica, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka — all great locations. Also, this season had really great tasks (after all, TAR 6 led to the first ever switchback). But what killed it is the casting. 6/11 teams were couples, and such dislikable teams like Jonathan and Victoria, Freddie and Kendra. Adam was annoying af. The only teams I at least kind of liked that made it at least somewhat far were Gus and Hera, Lori and Bolo and Jon and Kris, but I use "likable" very carefully because most of the teams were really bland. The locations and the task gave it such good potential but the casting made it just so awful. Plus, the editing was too slow for my taste.
26. Amazing Race 15: Locations gave it great potential, once again, and it had some really good tasks (plus it introduced the switchback). We got to see Vietnam, Cambodia, Estonia, and Prague, which could've gave it great potential but again the casting killed it. Only 3 1/2 teams worth rooting for: the Globetrotters, Zev and Justin, Matt and Gary, and Brian. Everyone else was just awful or bland. And then once again, the dominating team, who happened to, once again, be a very bland team. Not really a great season.
27. Amazing Race 4: Pretty much everything about this season is unmemorable. Am I the only one who didn't like Chip and Reichen? The clowns and the visits to Venice, Kota Kinabalu and Seoul were really there only good things about this race, and also happen to be the only really memorable thing about this race. Most of the first 11 seasons were great, but man, this was not a good one.
28. Amazing Race 26: I saw on the first page this season being in some people's top tiers. How??? First off, I, for one, really am not a fan of these gimmick seasons. One of the great things I like about the Amazing Race is the diversity of different teams so having a season that was only couples just didn't really sit well with me. None of the blind dates worked except maybe Jeff and Jackie. The locations were mediocre, with only Namibia, Monaco and Peru standing out, and none of the teams really stand out except Hayley and Blair because of their amusing bickering. I really hope that in the next All Stars/Unfinished Business they don't bring back anybody from this season because this was easily the worst season (not counting Amazing Race 8 ).

Obnoxious? Nah I wouldn't call them that. My favorite teams are teams that actually make the most out of the race and enjoy it and have fun, instead of focusing on winning, because that's what I think is one of the most important things about this race, especially with the opportunity of getting to travel all over the world, plus it's totally how I'd run the race so it's also relatable. Yes, while I did emphasize several male teams, there are also several non-all male teams that I feel fit this category that I also love like Brooke and Claire, Brooke and Robbie, Kym and Alli (one of my favorite teams), Mallory and Gary, Team Fun (also happen to be one of my favorite teams of all time), Bill and Cathi, Fran and Barry, TK and Rachel, and Kynt and Vyxsin to name a few.
I wouldn't call those teams obnoxious. Teams I would call obnoxious are the Twinnies (they are the champions of this category), Chris and Alex, and at times Tyler and Korey, again to name a few.

With better editing, a smoother incorporation of the Head to Head, and a less desperate attempt to push the "competitive" theme, Season 30 could have been under "GOOD". But things picked up a little too late (the last 2 episodes are some of my favorite TAR legs ever).

S30 is honestly one of my favorite seasons ever.

Updated my list to include TAR AUS and TAR 30.
1. Amazing Race 9 - my favorite of all time. It had great teams like BJ and Tyler (my favorite of all time) and Fran and Barry, to name a couple, great locations like Palermo, Greece, Oman and Perth, great tasks like the Oman roadblock and the Thailand fast forward, and just so many twists and turns. Loved watching the hilarious rivalry between the "Frat Boys" and the animosity of MoJo towards the hippies and then getting eliminated in Thailand. Also loved how it ended and started in the exact same place so it is the only season to truly circumnavigate the world (yes I know TAR 1 and 6 also ended in the same start city, but not same starting line as the finish line) and I loved that final roadblock and that twist with it. This was the funnest to watch.
2. Amazing Race 5 - Great tasks. Great locations. Great teams. Like come on, they went to Egypt! What's not to love about this season? The only reason why this is below 9 is because 9 had better humor and was a bit more fun to watch. But it's a very close second. Also. am I the only one that didn't really like Mirna? Charla I liked but sometimes Mirna would really annoy/piss me off.
3. Amazing Race 25 - This is easily the best of the new seasons. It veered away from a lot of overvisited countries, and when they went to the overvisited countries, they went to locales not really visited too much (like the Shetland Islands and Palermo). The teams were mostly great. The twists throughout were just insane, especially that final leg, and even more importantly, that twist of a final 4 at the end of the Philippines. Speaking of the Philippines, LOVE how they had that switchback. This is a very close third. The editing was really great, because without that editing, we would've never known the winners. The editing made me think the surfers or dentists were going to win.
4. Amazing Race Australia 2 - This is SUCH a great season, and there's really nothing wrong I can say about this season. The map, tasks, the casts and the results were all so satisfying. I guess I could say I didn't like when they would fly to another country after completing the roadblock or detour because it made it seem pointless, but that's a minor detail, and I still really liked this season.
5. Amazing Race 7 - Another close call. These top seasons are really all such good seasons. Hated Rob and Amber, but they made it so interesting. The locations visited were amazing. Loved the casting. Loved that play of karma with the Fast Forward in India. And how can one not love Uchenna and Joyce? Honestly not sure how I feel about the circle-style course, but overall a great season.
6. Amazing Race 11 - Unlike the new All-Stars, this was a FANTASTIC season. The casting was great - they mostly picked teams that were very memorable but I would've loved to see the Chos from Season 10, the brothers from 7 or the clowns from 4, or if they were to have picked another 1st place team I would've loved to see BJ and Tyler (can you tell I really like them?) but other than that it was great (plus I have a gut feeling that one day they'll do a winners-only or most memorable teams ever season so I'll probably see BJ and Tyler again). Made the mistake of watching the seasons out of order (PLEASE DON'T DO THIS, NEW VIEWERS) so I already knew who would win in the final leg, seeing as I watched season 17 first. The twists throughout were so good, and the locations were pretty good (not great, as they visit a lot of overvisited places like Argentina and Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong) plus they went to every continent. One of my favorite seasons to rewatch.
7. Amazing Race Australia 1 - Everything about this was great with all the twists and turns everywhere. Unlike a lot of the US challenges, these challenges were straight up difficult. The cast was incredible with only two unlikable teams, and the interactions between the cast were fantastic. The only thing I have against this season is the map, because I honestly just didn't like the turn around once getting to Krakow, and being pro-Palestine (my personal opinion, let's not argue over this here), I wasn't a fan of the glorification of Israel, which is why I've been glad that TAR US has avoided it, but the tasks and the cast help overpower this downside. Great season.
8. Amazing Race 12 - Ah, season 12. Not only did it have great locations, but it was incredibly entertaining to watch. Very memorable teams and places, for one thing. I'm very surprised that they haven't gone to Florence more than just that dip in this season, but I loved it. Five new countries! Also, the team that I was so sure was gonna win it all getting eliminated in Croatia was such a twist and, in my opinion, it had the best final roadblock ever. Great to watch the growth of Ron and Christina—this and 13 were really the only seasons that you saw a growth in a team. I've seen it as number 1 several times, and I'll agree that it definitely belongs up in the top tier.
9. Amazing Race Australia 3 - I think this is such an underrated season. The cast was great, the idea of pitting the two countries against each other was a great concept, and the map, like its prequel, was amazing. I would've liked it better if it was 12 teams, as I understand 11 would be stupid considering they need even teams, but still loved the cast diversity. I can say I really thoroughly enjoyed watching this season.
10. Amazing Race 17 - This was the season that got me into the Amazing Race! I was a fan of Kevin (KevJumba) so I watched this season until he got eliminated and then decided to watch it all the way through a year or two later and I realized how much I loved this show. One of the great things about this is how strong the teams are, to the point that a strong team like Connor and Jonathan are eliminated early. It had several strong female teams, which pretty much every season before and after has lacked, and it had great locations. I'm honestly so surprised that this is the only appearance of Boston anywhere on the race. 17 will always have a place in my heart.
11. Amazing Race 10 - In my opinion, this season had the best locations of any season. Six countries that are only visited in Season 10! The teams were really entertaining to watch for the most part. Am I the only one who's not that big of a fan of Dustin and Kandice? They were entertaining to watch but, ugh, sometimes they REALLY irked me, especially when they called Team Bama "the sistas". Loved how they visited Ha Long Bay. Really wish the race would go back to Mongolia sometime soon. Also another season where the team I expected to win got out earlier (the triathletes). Great season.
12. Amazing Race 22 - Another season with great locations. That second roadblock in Tahiti was INSANE and I really have a gut feeling that if they return in the future, it will become a switchback. Great teams to watch, and Dave's ruptured achilles completely changed the rest of the race. Loved the switchback in Switzerland (one of the few good things about 14, but we'll get to that later). This was definitely one of the better seasons of the newer seasons.
13. Amazing Race 29 - I was really surprised about how well this season came out. I really thought it was gonna be total s*** because the last time they did blind teams it turned out to be an awful season (again, we'll get to that later). Great locations! Makes me think that van Bertram is on an upswing with the course design. Most, and I emphasize "most", were very likable, with the unlikable teams being VERY unlikable. I found it SO hilarious how Vanck picked Ashton. I liked the twist with the U-Turns being before the detour AND also being able to U-Turn more than once. The one thing that I don't like about this season, and the reason why casual watchers hate this season, is the winners. And that last leg was pretty terrible because it was so easy. There's so much more you can do with Chicago. But overall, really liked this season and can't wait to rewatch this season soon (I've spent the past 10 or so months rewatching all of them in order and I'm currently on 24).
14. Amazing Race 30 - I think it's safe to say that CBS is [hopefully] on an upswing. I was once again annoyed that it was another gimmick season, but this time it was less so, so it worked out okay. This was one of the best maps in a while, hands down, although 29 had a great map too. I'm so glad they finally broke the streak of overvisiting Los Angeles, and in doing so, it had one of the best final legs of the newer seasons. The things that I did not like about this season were: 1) the winners, 2) the U-Turns before the detour (which is what I liked last season, but this season I didn't think they did it as well), 3) less flights that split the teams up, and 4) the partner swap leg. Other than that, I think this was great.
15. Amazing Race 2 - DANNY AND OSWALD!! Loved them and I was so glad that they were brought back for All-Stars. The locations were great, other than the fact that they completely skipped Europe and it's kind of annoying that they had teams fly through Europe to get to Cape Town but completely avoided the continent otherwise. Best final leg moment ever with that final sprint. Loved this season.
16. Amazing Race 21 - Will start off by saying that the one thing I cannot tolerate about this season is those f***ing twinnies. Easily the most annoying team ever. Period. That being said, this season had so many twists and turns, like with Abbie and Ryan and James and Abba (why the f*** were they not brought back for All-Stars instead of those twinnies???) and then of course the final leg. Actually had some great tasks like the pizza task in the final leg, the synchronized swimming, and the time zone task in Russia. What is it with losing passports in Russian taxis? One of the better good seasons.
17. Amazing Race 19 - Why is this so far down on so many people's lists? And why did people not like the snowboarders? I thought they were really cool and funny guys and entertaining to watch. Also am I the only one that did not like Ernie and Cindy? Okay, so now about the season. Lots of great teams — Amani and Marcus, Justin and Jennifer, the snowboarders, Bill and Cathi (RIP Bill :(), Laurence and Zac (although Laurence really would piss me off with some ***ist things he would say), the twins—mostly great casting. Still very confused about the Hazard, probably one the reasons they never brought it back. LOVED the double elimination. Loved the locations. I don't understand why people rate this so low.
18. Amazing Race 3 - Pretty good season. Who can forget Flo and Zach? Really was so sure the twins were gonna win the whole thing based on editing, so great editing on the part of the editors. You had SO many great teams too, like how does one not like this casting? Many people have this higher on their list and I honestly probably would but I don't remember too much about this season, despite having watched it multiple times.
19. Amazing Race 18 - Only reason why it's up here is because it was really really fun to watch. Way too many teams from 14, would've liked to see Dallas and Toni because they definitely had "unfinished business" and there were no teams from 13. Good choice in bringing back the Globetrotters and Cowboys—two of my favorite teams ever, much to the dismay of a lot of other hardcore Amazing Race lovers. Had some pretty good tasks like the tea challenge, measuring of Liechtenstein, the chocolate gnome, the Viennese meal, and the samba, but also some too easy tasks like the waterfall detour in Japan, the chimney sweep in Salzburg, and the entire second leg in Australia. Locations were mediocre (several overvisited countries: Japan, China, India, Switzerland, and Brazil). It was a good season to watch, though. I really hope they do this "unfinished business" concept again (maybe that'll be TAR 30!).
20. Amazing Race 23 - I'll start off with one word: hypocrites. We'll get back to that. All the good teams, with the exception of Leo and Jamal and Tim and Marie (although I don't know if I'd call them "good", I'd call them "really entertaining) got out too early leaving us with meh teams and teams I didn't like. Now going back to hypocrites, the hypocrisy of Amy and Jason and Travis and Nicole REALLY REALLY pissed me off and one the main reasons that it's not as high as it could be. Also, three couples in the final 3? Made it a really uninteresting final three. The locations, Leo and Jamal, and Tim and Marie are really what saves this season.
21. Amazing Race 13 - An all right season. The casting was mediocre, although it was really great to see the progression in Tina and Ken's relationship. The locations, on the other hand, were FABULOUS. Bolivia, New Zealand (loved how Phil's dad was a greeter), Cambodia, Kazakhstan (that fast forward though, WOW), Portland—all great locations. One of the things I don't like about this season is the same thing I don't like about 15, 20, and 27 - not much diversity in winning teams. Plus I really didn't like Nick and Starr. Honestly though, this season doesn't really stand out to me and isn't too memorable, which is why it's so low.
22. Amazing Race 28 - Another all right season. Kind of sick of these gimmick seasons, to be honest. Liked how they visited Colombia, Armenia and Georgia, and I liked how all the teams (with the exception of the instragram models and the dancers) were all really likable. I think a lot of the tasks were too easy and/or uninteresting, such as the produce detour in Bali and the painting Detour in Shenzhen. But like I said, it was an all right season.
23. Amazing Race 24: Actually the season I'm rewatching right now. First off, the course design was terrible. Double legs in the first four countries, yuck. Unmemorable legs like the second Sri Lankan leg and the Switzerland leg. Tasks were mostly too easy. And oh boy, the casting. I personally liked the bringing back of the Cowboys and Globetrotters, because the only the other team that brought humor was Leo and Jamal. But so many teams are not "All Star" material: Brenchels, John and Jessica, Twinnies (all-star annoying though), country singers. Better teams that actually were All-Star material: Kynt and Vyxin, Zev and Justin, Bill and Cathi, Jaymes and James, James and Abba, Chuck and Wynona, Roller Derby Moms, Season 23 Beards, to name some. Another returning team season with only 3 continents. This did not live up to 11.
24. Amazing Race 1: Maybe I don't appreciate it as much as other people because of how I watched the seasons out of order. But to me, it's paced too slowly, and so many other elements about the editing I really don't enjoy. The clowns and the visits to Venice, Kota Kinabalu and Seoul were really there only good things about this race, and also happen to be the only really memorable thing about this race. Most of the first 11 seasons were great, but man, this was not a good one.
32. Amazing Race 26: I saw on the first page this season being in some people's top tiers. How??? First off, I, for one, really am not a fan of these gimmick seasons. One of the great things I like about the Amazing Race is the diversity of different teams so having a season that was only couples just didn't really sit well with me. None of the blind dates worked except maybe Jeff and Jackie. The locations were mediocre, with only Namibia, Monaco and Peru standing out, and none of the teams really stand out except Hayley and Blair because of their amusing bickering. I really hope that in the next All Stars/Unfinished Business they don't bring back anybody from this season because this was easily the worst season (not counting Amazing Race 8 ).

My favorite teams are teams that actually make the most out of the race and enjoy it and have fun, instead of focusing on winning, because that's what I think is one of the most important things about this race, especially with the opportunity of getting to travel all over the world, plus it's totally how I'd run the race so it's also relatable. No offense but you mentioned that you like Art and JJ under season 20, I'm sorry but in my completely frank opinion Art and JJ are indubitably THE MOST cutthroat teams I have seen on the race. Sure, they ran the race for traveling around the world and cherishing every bit of it but have you not seen them threatening Brendan and Rachel? How they were on a freakish high when they got 1st on the third and fourth legs? They felt like Dave and Rachel were some sort of their arch nemesis and they had just eliminated them to take lead. Definitely a no-go so...
But yeah, at the end of the day, its your opinion so I won't attack you for having one :)

I said they were all right. The terribleness of the season makes them look good, but if you read it, I said the only thing that saves that season were Mark and Bopper. I didn't like a lot of things about Art and JJ but I have respected how they donated half of their prize money in Italy to Mark and Bopper which, as far as I recall, nothing of the sort has been done before.

TAR4 was good season, imo. I liked challanges and how competitive teams were. It has one of my favorite teams in Kelly & Jon. I find TAR12 kinda overrated and TAR30 was verrryyy boring to watch for me. The only team I found interesting was Yale, and maybe Lucas & Brittany. Others were zzzzz for me.

TAR4 was good season, imo. I liked challanges and how competitive teams were. It has one of my favorite teams in Kelly & Jon.
I found Season 4 to be the worst among the first four seasons. It tries to do everything TAR 3 did by including 12 teams of 2, but having a dull route between legs 6 and 10 (minus 9 for being entertaining and exotic), a less memorable cast with some fowl and obnoxious players and having each and every non elimination leg placed so far into it where it becomes painfully predictable. OK, TAR 3 did leave the non-elimination legs until the eighth leg but had an immediate one in the following leg and NONE in the final four for added suspense (the only season not to include in the F4 where at least one NEL was still pending). I assume this was because having the last remaining teams battle it out more was highly intriguing, which it was for me.
Season 4 just did the every two legs procedure like TAR 1 and 2. I can really see why it had low ratings, and that TAR 5 and 6 needed to deliver to prevent it from being cancelled in 2004. Above all, some of the more memorable teams didn't make it to the final 3, and I wasn't overly enthusiastic about the winners.

First of all i'd like to say that these are all PERSONAL OPINIONS! I won't get into judgements with everyone else. You like what you like and dislike what you dislike and that's fine.
My history with TAR begins with TAR Latin America.
But than when i improved my english and saw that TAR was an actual show, i've first went to TAR 15 on YouTube. That's when it started.
I also have to point out that every season that visits South America gets me interested.
So, even though TAR 15 is not very well rated in everyone's lists, i really loved it.
Plus it has those Globetrotters' historical moments: in the slide with Mika & Canaan and the Praghe Roadblock. I thought it was great at the time.
To be completely honest: seasons 1~11 are my least favorites. I LOVED TAR 3 but it was the only one.
TAR 6, TAR 7, TAR 9 & TAR 10 i enjoyed watching. The rest of it i couldn't enjoy.
That being said, i also love two routes: TAR 5 and TAR 10.
I think my favorite season til this day is Unfinished Business.
The rush in this forum to get the spoilers, the anxiety to see the next leg...always caught me. It was terrific.
TAR 21, TAR 25 and TAR 26 also have a place in my heart.
TAR23, TAR24, TAR 27 are the ones i dislike it too.

Does anyone actually like it? I don't hate it, but it is very underwhelming for several reasons:
1. The cast first and foremost - I could not find anyone who I could root for, except for maybe Jon & Al - barely
2. The non-elimination legs - Why did they repeat TAR3 and have all 3 of them at the end? That completely killed any suspense and the fact that they also place them every two pit stops is so predictable. At least TAR3 had a back to back and no NEL in the final 4, which was still unpredictable. I believed the first one should have appeared in one of the India legs
3. The locations - Yeah, I am sure many would agree that the entire season sucked when it came to places they visited. I did enjoy Cortina, Amsterdam and Borneo (leg 9), but that was literally it. Europe seemed depressing otherwise due to the places they went DURING winter, the first leg in Malaysia just wasn't fun and Australia was poorly utilized. India and South Korea were actually alright though.
4. It was boring - Yeah, the show was in desperate need of some new twists by this point which is what they thankfully did in the following season.

1. The only team I was rooting for was Reichen & Chip because they were gay, and I am bi. Also I knew they were the winners, and I liked them.
2. I think the race needs to start making non-elimination legs unpredictable. Most seasons after the first non-elimination you can tell the pattern. Like for example, leg 3 is the first NEL, then either leg 6, then either leg 9. We wanted to see the teams hearts drop when their eliminated, we don't want them to except it.
3. Why was Italy, Austria, France, India, Australia, and Hawaii visited again? Can you not wait at least 5 or 6 seasons to visit a country again. This isn't like season 20 when you have to start going to places again and only having like two new countries this is season 4. Same with Thailand from season 2. Also, since you went to Malaysia in season 3 why did you not go to the Indonesia side of the island. The same place, but a different country. Then, it wouldn't have taken 19 seasons to go to Indonesia.
4. It really was with the boring people being the last teams left in the race it made it horrible to watch. I almost stopped watching after the Malaysian legs because it was boring.

I do think 32 will be in the lower ranks for the next years but come on.... The route of 24 is one of, if not the worst in TAR history, 4 double legs to start the show (China/Malaysia/SriLanka/Italy), the cast is Meh, the boot order is meh. The winners are mega MEH
32 has one amazing route (1 new country and some that really needed to be visited again) the cast was great. (Michelle/Victoria are stars, and there was a lot of potential there for other teams, plus we kind of saw the return to regular/real people with Hung/Chee, Eswar/Aparna, Nathan/Cody, Jerry/Frank, the blondes)
Yes the alliance bump it down a bit, same with the Winners (who in my book are wayyyyy better than Dave/Connor).
I think 32 is better than 24, 16, 8, 13 and maybe 15 also!

Seasons 4, 8, 16 and 24 seem to be universally hated.
In this case it either comes down to poor planning and/or a terrible cast.
Then you've got your polarizing seasons such as TAR 6.
Then the ones that sit at the top generally including seasons 5, 7 and 25.
For most I guess the cast and where they finish seems to be the number one deciding factor of how good a season is, followed by leg design/planning.

TAR 3 (Strong winners, great route, and good overall moments)
TAR 5 (Great moments everywhere, iconic cast, Deserving winner)
TAR 12 (Likable final 3, enjoyable cast, good memory challenge)
TAR 21 (Cast is very likable, underdog winner, James/Abba)
Great seasons
TAR 1 (First race, iconic moments and teams, epic finale finish)
TAR 7 (surprising finish, mostly southern route, fails to go around the world)
TAR 10 (Lots of new countries, most diverse cast in series, boring winner)
TAR 11 (First and best All-Star, harder tasks, underwhelming winner)
TAR 15 (Shortened route, Dominating team wins season, lost passport)
TAR 17 (First F/F winner, visits to Ghana/Sweden, last in SD)
TAR 29 (Unusual twist, controversial winner, Floyd passes out)
TAR 30 ("Most competitive season" yet, strong cast, lousy winners)
TAR 31 (Not a fan of the theme, Surprising winners, good tasks)
Meh seasons (I can either enjoy these seasons one day or hate them another day)
TAR 4 (The cast just drags the season down, I really enjoy the route)
TAR 8 (If it weren't for the long back-half of this season, this might've been a good one)
TAR 9 (Domination by two teams isn't fun, but this is a decent season if you can ignore that)
TAR 14 (I have a thing for dreary European countries and this season fits that well, the cast is blech though)
TAR 18 (Too many S14 fodder teams, but it does have good tasks and most of those teams fall pretty quickly)
TAR 22 (Again, the casting is lackluster in this season. The locations are beautiful though)
TAR 27 (One team hogs the airtime and it makes the season more or less "eh")
Not a fan of these (These seasons are not very high on my rewatch priority)
TAR 2 (Feels like a retread of S1, ending with an exact copy of winners. It feels way more dated than S1 too)
TAR 6 (Beautiful locations, great tasks, terrible casting choices mar an otherwise decent season)
TAR 13 (Incompetence abound, very little shifting on the leaderboard made it a very boring season to watch)
TAR 16 (Nastiness between teams is just unpleasant, Jet's homophobia, there's just an air of ugliness to this season)
TAR 19 (Definition of average season. Little drama, teams mostly got along, decent tasks, and forgettable winner, ehhh)
TAR 20 (The tasks were very strong and fun to watch, too bad the teams were so awful and unpleasant to watch as a viewer)
TAR 23 (Yet another average season that has nothing that really sticks out about it. Absolutely forgettable)
TAR 24 (Lazy season, teams that were racing for the third time, bad tasks, linear finale that didn't allow any passing)
TAR 25 (Terrible twists, unlikable cast)
TAR 26 (U-Turn on first leg was lame, Blind date theme fell flat)
TAR 28 (Ignoring the social media theme, this race just felt bland with no big moments. Add bad winners and it's a double whammy)
TAR 32 (Alliance ruined the season, winners aren't that great)
TAR 33 (Season felt like a mess, only Europe played out worse than I thought it would)
