-
First location: Mexico City! :)
Great! :yess: :wohoo:
Oh my God this is amazing!!! Finally they visit a North American country. :cheer:
Now a new country in Latin America or something like Ireland in Europe would be great :colors
-
Yas!! Nice!
One question, where was the Starting Line? It was in Mexico? :S
-
Looks like Bogotá, Colombia is next up! :D New country!
-
First location: Mexico City! :)
Great! :yess: :wohoo:
Great they go there i would just prefered they did it in leg 11, before going back to the USA.
-

So Amazing that they are going there :conf: :conf: :conf: :conf:
-
Wow, the first two locations were pretty unexpected. Can't wait to see the entire route.
-
Turns out it was Cartagena not Bogotá
-
Turns out it was Cartagena not Bogotá
Both I think? ???
-
Geneva, Switzerland next
First time since TAR 3.
-
Chamonix, France is next after Geneva.
-
Chamonix, France is next after Geneva.
how do you know
-
Chamonix, France is next after Geneva.
how do you know
Because one of the tags in a new sighting was #GoToChamonix

We will see what happens. I don't find that hashtag to be very convincing evidence. It may just mean that the person who did the sighting is planning to go skiing at Chamonix. It's only about 50 miles from Geneva.
-
Chamonix in France? not again!
-
Sorry.
-
France is 100% NOT confirmed. :groan:
yeah, that is not possible if we get another France for the third time. I think it's awful to continue another leg of France.
I was hoping to have Barcelona for confirmation.
-
I'm so sorry for my previous post, claude was right.
Chamonix, France is next after Geneva.
It is now confirmed due to webcam shots.
-
Barcelona is a possibe sequesterville...We have NO info on a leg there at this time.
-
I am thrilled about Chamonix...a high altitude snow task? LOVE it!!
-
I understand now. It's Chamonix for a pitstop at the end of leg 4. the view is nice.
-
Then, the route is...?
LA, Mexico, Colombia, France, Switzerland?
France again? :/
I want a Leg in Barcelona too! :(
-
Leg 1 Mexico City, Mexico
Legs 2-3 Cartagena, Colombia
Leg 4 Geneva, Switzerland & Chamonix, France (PROBABLY one leg)
That is our best assumption right now and I pretty much love the route so far :hearts: Switzerland has become mainstream to be visited nearly every spring season, but France will look very different for a leg in that country. And if it's a joint leg with 2 countries, it will be very cool!
-
Various airports.
Mexico City
Cartagena
Cartagena
Geneva
Chamonix, ? x2 parts
You can always see the latest info in the TIMELINE.
-
I thought the whole point of this thread was so people don't need to venture into the timeline and stumble on elimination info? ???

Yeah, I'm not going to the Timeline. I will only watch this topic, because I don't want any spoiler. Just locations.
Btw, thanks for answer! I was kinda angry for France again, but dude, Chamonix is so beautiful! France with another perspective. :P
-
Yerevan ARMENIA!! :yess:
-
I must say, the route is pretty amazing this season. 2 new countries for the first time since TAR20 :colors

Definitely agree with you :hearts:

Colombia seems to be an impossible country for TAR to visit
But TAR did it!
Oh my god
Now, Armenia is freaking awesome!
( Don't forget Armenia is Charla and Mirna's home country ,I am sure they will be very happy)
-
^ Armenia is a country, not a town.
-
Please tell me if this info below is incorrect: :)
Leg 1: Mexico City, Mexico
Leg 2: Cartagena, Colombia
Leg 3: Cartagena, Colombia
Leg 4: Geneva, Switzerland
Leg 5: Chamomix, France
Leg 6: Athens, Greece
Leg 7: Yerevan, Armenia
If this is correct, we have 6 countries so far. I'm hoping for 10 countries to be visited this season just like the previous season. :hearts:
-
Greece is a question mark.
We have one sighting at the Athens airport, which may have just been a connection. The timeframe is kinda tight for a leg there.
-
Tbilisi, Georgia
Another new location. This city isn't the first time in TAR franchise, TAR Israel visited there a couple of years back.
-
YES for Armenia + Georgia combo! :hearts: <3333333
-
YES for Armenia + Georgia combo! :hearts: <3333333
Double Caucasus <333
-
Oh yeah, another new country :conf: TAR must be reinventing itself due to the bad edit after the TAR 27 season disaster :cheer:
So now the route goes like this
Leg 1
Mexico City, Mexico
Leg 2 - 3
Cartagena, Colombia
Leg 4
Geneva, Switzerland and Chamonix, France
Leg 5
France in the Alps
Leg 6
Yerevan, Armenia
Leg 7
Tbilisi, Georgia
Keep 'em new countries coming TAR, I'm looking forward to this season more :yess: :hoot:
(Sorry 'bout that, got confused between the Switzerland and France part ???)
-
^ Geneva & Chamonix are in the same leg, with Leg 5 being in alpine France (or that general region)
Yerevan is Leg 6
Tbilisi is Leg 7
-

Best route ever.
-
Bali:
Tanah Lot
-
This route reminded me a lot of TAR22 route. Very diverse. We've got hot desert city, snowy France and Switzerland, Urban Colombian leg, scenic beach and in tropical Bali and lovely Armenia+Georgia. And we still have 3 more legs to go, wow.
-
I'm just not happy with UAE-Indonesia considering we had that on 23 =/
-

But both UAE & Indonesia's leg that season were amazing tbh. (Except the horrid boot </3)
So let's keep our fingers cross.
-
we are about due for another UAE visit but I could have done without Indonesia. Amazing route this season though!
-
I'm happy with France, Geneva and Chamonix sounds good, along with new countries Georgia and Armenia. There's just more request, PLEASE give us New Zealand or Australia for the remaining legs.
-
So now we have two legs in Bali rather than one.
-
So now we have two legs in Bali rather than one.
We have always had two legs. Multiple posts saying so.
-
TAR22 had the second half of the super long KOR in Bali then they flew to Vietnam for Leg 5
-
2 legs in Bali? :( So only one leg left before the final leg? Pls be Oceania!
-

Hopeful for Laos (which has never been visited) or Australia/New Zealand!
-
Next leg will be in Shenzhen, China. Another Chinese city has never visited before.
Like Tbilisi, this wasn't the first time in TAR franchise, two international versions were previously visited there.

Well, it's different the start than the finish line... But yeah, I would have prefer any other city before LA. (:;) :gaah: :(
What about the Starting Line? Still unknown?
-
Congratulations for repeating the timeline
-
It's interesting that we still don't know the start city and location, just the first destination city.
-
If it's anything to go off, Tyler and Blair live in LA (not sure about their partners, believe Korey is still in San Fran) and Rooster Teeth are set up in Austin - potentially a multi-city start?
-
So in summary, this is our route (used the blank template from Wikipedia)

Congratulations for repeating the timeline

^ What Marionete said.

Another TAR28 route map.
-
If only.....
China :res:
-
Awesome, multi-city start. It's fun to see the teams starting on their own houses!
But I suppose the flights will be similar, because it can be unfair if a flight is longer than the others. But well, if you have seen the live periscope of Phil at Mexico we can see it doesn't matters at all.

As far as the apparent start city/airports go, two of the four (LAX and MIA) have been in that role before. Yes, MIA multiple times (TAR 3 and TAR 11). DFW and ATL have been final cities before. Only one city has been a start city and not a final city -- Boston. Chicago, Denver, Seattle have been both. At least it isn't all LAX; it's spread around, and from what I've seen online the flights were chosen so that all the teams would arrive in Mexico City at about the same time, and I assume some teams would be held so they'd be released from Customs at the same time if need be. (A very common practice when all the teams are scheduled to arrive on the same flight.)
TPTB have been using live or recorded video route markers with Phil since TAR 6 in Hungary. They have been using video clues more frequently in recent seasons. So that is established in TAR as well. The only new element is the multiple cities/aairports for the start line, and I have to admit it's a neat trick.
JMO, but I don't see the value in forming strong opinions about new teams in filming with little information or no information other than the superficial kind in the press releases for the open start seasons. I do not engage in it. I stopped predicting whether one or more teams would be final three after TAR 14 because the kinds of information I would need is generally no longer put out there. YMMV.
