There is no way we are getting a starting line in Mexico. Maybe the whole travel independently means they are booking their own flight and that's why they are not just departing from one airport

Teams were grouped and divided at some point and to showcase the whole social media idea Phil's "GO" was done through a tv screen, phone message or a vine. So teams 1 2 3 and 4 departed from Dallas... 5 6 7 and 8 from Miami and 9 10 and 11 from LAX... just the wildest of guesses though... Not likely because then you get different starting times and that could get messy but is an idea...

Y'all have me totally confused as to what is being live streamed and what has happened or not happened before that point. Was there an actual start before teams flew out of wherever to Mexico City, or was Mexico City the first destination?

Seems like the blue team was seen flying out of Atlanta...so maybe this poster was just lying (possible given the seemingly random Alaska comment), or didn't know where they were actually going.
If the filming in the house comment is correct, and assuming they were sequestered in LAX, perhaps they flew 'home' on the 14th out of sequestration (which is why this sighting) and then had the virtual start line on the 15th that morning. IDK?

Not that e-a-s-i-l-y! Patterns, materials and colors vary between countries and regions. Those are definitively non-Mexican textiles. Go search for Colombian textiles and see how geometry matches.
There are nine daily flights to Colombia from Mexico City and some more from Cancun, I definitively knew that Colombia was next but I couldn't tell the flight or departure point. All of yesterday's flight went by without any sighting and so did the one from this morning.
The pictures posted on live thread are definitively from MEX T2. At the time they were posted, two flights left for Colombia from T2, both of them from AeroMexico, one to Bogota/El Dorado BOG and one to Medellin MDE and another flight left for Bogota from T1.
If the race has stuck with its rules of using two flights close together, then everything points to Bogota and to these two flights:
Out of T1 MEX-BOG 5:45 p. m. → 11:15 p. m. InterJet 2932 4O/AIJ
Out of T2 MEX-BOG 6:09 p. m. → 11:58 p. m. Aeromexico 0708 AM/AMX
This should put all teams into Bogota by midnight. Both flights are now entering Costa Rican air space.

I can't believe I missed the race coming to Mexico! I would've flown to Mexico City had I known! I've been dreaming for years of witnessing the race live!! And i have tons of friends there that could've also helped that are fans! I guess I can keep hoping for a Monterrey leg somewhere in the future...slim chances I guess...

You are speaking as if Europe has turned in some kind of NO GO ZONE, as if we can't even have stop-overs here. Of course the terror threats have raised since last Friday, but that doesn't mean the situation has changed that drastically that Europe should be avoided and I find it laughable that the Middle East would all of a sudden be more safe than Europe...
Besides, I think it's virtually impossible to reach Africa/Middle East from South America, without stop-overs in Europe, unless you take a real big detour.

I am not sure that the Statue racers running/hollering Phil video is clearly a PitStop. Phil does pop up mid race for commentary these days, unless there is more evidence I have overlooked? Help?

Regarding the India instagrams, they're actually in New Delhi. It's Agrasen Ki Baoli...TARAus2 had a roadblock there involving men with turbans. The cluebox and flags there seem legit, and pics from there today show many similary-dressed men in turbans (which isn't a rare occurrence in India, granted)...but my thoughts is that it's TAR:Israel (which I think is filming now) getting ready to be filmed. If you wanna know how the race works, I suggest you watch past seasons like Seasons 16, 17, 22, and 25. If you do get hooked, you will probably be watching the season until the end. :)

Can we stay alert for any ash clouds coming out of Mt Rinjani?As long as there's a way for the teams and production to reach an airport on Bali to fly out, it might make the flight to the next destination longer aftr pit stop release, but it shouldn't strand anyone on Bali.
It's happened a few times last month, and virtually all flights (to and from Bali) were cancelled.
Apparently it just erupted, so let's keep our hopes up. :grins:

Yeah, common East Asia penultimate leg are most likely in Beijing/Shanghai in China, Seoul in South Korea, Osaka/Tokyo in Japan (I hope it's not Japan again given the recent ****ty Japan leg we get on 23 and 26), or Taipei in Taiwan. Hong Kong/Macau are mostly likely rule out because it just visit last season.

This cast is pretty diverse and isn't all that bad, just think, we could have gotten MUCH MUCH worse.
A lot of these teams CREATE content through their own talent and do not obnoxiously vlog their day-to-day lives. They live their personal life in peace and I would really love to see how they do on TAR.
We haven't even seen a route yet, and we're already complaining lol.
If anything, it's not the teams that are the problem.

Met with the teams filming The Amazing Race, there were 3 teams, a couple, a mother and a son, and a pair of friends, all racing for a million dollars, the places they visited included Indonesia, Guangzou and are arriving in Los Angeles today. The race starts the minute they leave the plane, so they need to start sprinting once we land. So not to be hindered by racing with their hand baggage they decided to leave it on the plane. I will help them to hand it to the ground team.

I think it might be because Blair lives in LA and her Dad lives in TN. She has been training in TN with her Dad and I guess either her Dad flew to her or the producers had them do that, or she could have been in LA anyway and her Dad had to meet her. Anyway, she lives in LA.

They were hoping to retain Ford in the weeks leading up to 27 from what I understand. Sadly that did not happen, I think Ford did some big reorganizing of its overseas dealers, perhaps that was a part of the decision.

I doubt it. There wasn't a fast forward on the first leg, so I think they would have been just fine for the Mexico City leg. I know they are unpopular, but I don't see a dominant team this season, just a few good and efficient ones, so I think Justin and Diana would have been in the mix at the top. That doesn't mean Justin wouldn't have been obnoxious and irritating.
However, when casting this season of social media "influencers", Justin and Diana's fake race/wedding proposal might have been considered old news.

We've got Tyler spotted in ATH at some point on 25 Nov. There's conveniently a nonstop flight from Athens to Yerevan on Wednesdays that would probably be favored over additional connections in Moscow or Kiev, so I'm guessing he and Korey (and probably everyone else) were on

Thanks to bottle we know teams arrived via train in Tbilisi on 27 Nov and someone (Slowhatch maybe?) figured out that that train was an overnight

Most curiously is that every place I've found only said that 372 only operates on even days, which suggests that production would definitely want teams to make that train.
The question then becomes 'how can seven teams run a leg AND have a Pit Stop in ~18 hours', given that production tends to have longer than 12 hour Pit Stops usually? If you answered next leg is a KOR then I agree ^_^. This might also explain why Blair has a Pit Stop interview right across from the train station in Tbilisi; much like with Manila in 25 and Huanchaco in 26 there's a giant gap of time between teams checking in and teams leaving on the same form of transportation which would be enough time to film confessionals (or the Pit Stop could be by the train station but I like my idea still lol).

well that spoiler was that I believe that team had last 5 legs in a row in 2nd place so I believe whoever comes 2nd in Armenia that's who gets eliminated and Tyler and Korey definitely won't come 2nd in Georgia because they had footrace to Scott and Blair for last place as seen in sighting

I looked at gamerfan09's edgic and when I read their statements about how Dana and Matt are out of the winner edits contention, it tells me that Dana and Matt are likely to finish the race in 3rd. I believe there maybe a strong chance that Sheri and Cole pulls an Amy and Maya at the end and win it all while Tyler and Korey will probably be 2nd. We shall see.

Edgic is not always true. Tyler & Laura didn't have a good edit in late half of the race but they won.

Dana put a tweet a while ago saying she was disappointed The Amazing Race edited her a certain way.Last season Joey and Kelsey didn't care how they were edited u-turning Team Texas.I think if her and Matt won she wouldn't care how they were portrayed.Just my theory.

There is a spoiler that the team was eliminated in China winning the most second place. It seems to be Burnie & Ashley who won 3 second places in a row.

I love all final 3 teams. I think Tyler and Korey won, because they are the strongest of the 3 teams, and the dancers who also are strong have a bad edit. Yall are looking too much into this it's literally someone saying that the final leg is the only first that matters because of the million. I can see Sheri or Cole saying it in excitement, but anyone can say it.+

We know the F4F + MPE existed in the past, so there's a chance, but I wouldn't expect them to make it to the Final Leg. :(

Not at all assuming anybody has blatantly posted it or would, but judging by a reply in ep 10's live thread that said Sheri & Cole were one of the poster's picks for returning teams, I thought something was seen in the live sightings. It seemed like a heavy implication since Burnie & Ashley were the other pick, since we know they've been eliminated. Though if I'm wrong then I'm perfectly fine with that. (Not that even care though, there's nobody I dislike) ???

I think the memory challenge at the vineyard will be the wildcard.I don't think Dana will do as well with something like this without someone helping her.I just don't see the rappelling challenges being the deciding factor.I think it will give teams a leg up if they finish faster but it is meaningless if they get tripped up by the final roadblock.
I saw on Twitter that Sheri's husband was coming to the finale and on Facebook Cole's grandma said we won't believe what we were going to see this week.I don't think their family would be doing and saying this stuff if they lost.I guess we will find out.I stand by me saying the memory challenge could be the game changer.
