If you are posting a tweet, please post the tweet, the tweet time, and LINK TO the twitter user name. Take a screencap if you can, tweets do disappear.
Please be kind, and don't all bury the poor unsuspecting twitterer with questions, if you see another RFFer on the job, let them handle it.
Photos should be credited. If someone is kind enough to share some with us specifically, those should be marked with photo by...or photo credit to....when posting. Generally, pics posted on Flickr, Instagram, twitter are considered "public".

Just met the camera crew for the Amazing Race leaving on their first leg from LAX to Mexico. We were stuck behind them at security. No racing there LOL. They were all in the security line ups.

Im guessing new season. This was a blonde girl and what looked like either a boyfriend or brother. Then down the concourse were two girls. I think one was blonde and one had darker hair. They were probably late 20s earlier 30s. I don't watch the show so I don't know if that helps.

1 Mariachi madness: About 500 mariachis performing an instrumental medley including "Cielito Lindo" and "Las Mañanitas" at Plaza Garibaldi in front of the Museo del Tequila y del Mezcal. Going through concentric circles of mariachis you had to walk around the circles, one at a time to find the musician that was not playing, just pretending, as in doing playback.
I saw team two guys in orange, team girl in black t-shirt and guy in plaid shirt and team blonde girl and guy with Under Armour red t-shirts doing this side of the detour.

2 Great Bulls of Fire had to do with traditional "torito" (search "quema de toritos") fireworks and must have also taken place in the Historical Centre District as it also was a make your way on foot clue, possibly in any of the multiple open plazas in the district which itself is a World Heritage Site from UNESCO. Sorry, no pics.
After the mariachi detour was completed the teams got their clue from two true traditional Mexican characters: A mariachi (musician) and a charro (cowboy) standing behind the Salón Tenampa on Callejón de la Amargura (Amargura alley) next to a statue of late composer José Alfredo Jiménez.
After detour is completed, teams are instructed to go to the next location where there will possibly be an HoO tomorrow morning.

At the caves they spent the night camping outside, at 6:45am 1st team was released to search for a clue in the typical cactus landscape to find clue that said proceed into the caves to assemble prehuspanic mosaic mask from the Teotihuacan culture.

That is Terminal 2 in Mexico City's Juarez International. I can tell by the architecture and part of AeroMexico's Skyteam logo showing at the edge. Hope Tyler is safe, hope he was not flying anywhere else but Colombia. I'll ask this guy.

You almost got it! I just saw those of The Amazing Race running in the airport. Random stuff that happens in the Federal District. (Federal District is where Mexico City is located). If it can handle DF, Bing must be a very good translator!

I'm on vacation in Columbia. A lot of people asked me before I left if I was going there for a race. We are actually here for vacation but, it turns out there is a race going on and we really wish we were in it. The Amazing Race is passing thru Cartagena. I googled up the "La Licciola" in the background and it's a bar and disco across the street from the Parque Del Centanario in Cartagena. I've been trying to find it in Google Earth Street View without any success so far. It keeps crashing on me.

Okay guys just got back from peace bridge they were indeed filming there but when I got there they were gone :'(
So I talked to a cop who told me that they started filming very early today in that area (Peace Bridge,there's also similar fountain like one in Mexico) and were done approximately at 5-6 pm. I stood at that place where Phil was standing so that might probably be pit stop because the lady who was selling Churchkelas there told me that they were standing there whole day and that they bought Churkhelas from her and other stuff. Now they're done they told me which way they went meaning they could be anywhere now but by speculation Narikhala could be Pit Stop if that's not Pit Stop because it's near there. Sorry guys for not helping too much but tomorrow's another day and they're still here so we'll see :(

Can't believe this happened today!
I arrived at Creekside Cafe to watch a
documentary film presented by The Sameness Project. I saw this guy who looked
like Phil Koeghan.
I knew from the start that he is indeed Phil, so I thought
he was the guest speaker for the night 🙈🙊. Then I realized when I turned my
back that we were actually at the location of the pitstop for The Amazing Race
!! waaaaaah! 😆😨😍😍😍
The fan boy inside of me got really excited! I
remember during college, me and my friend Gene Santos dreamed of someday bumping
on one of the teams from the Amazing Race while riding the MRT along
EDSA...hahahaha. So today this dream happened (sort of)!
On my way home my
eyes were just wandering to find some clue boxes and also suspicious looking
Americans with big backpacks hahaha... YEY for today!

Whole leg of Georgia is spoiled right now my wifi is struggling now but I can tell you this they started at Station Square they came by train then they were directed to Square of freedom then Narikhala Fortress (they got there by funicular railway) and them they went to Jvari Monastery in Mtsheta they had to search some address there(roadblock? just a task?) then to Chardakhi and then they had to go to do a task in which they had to clean the Kvevris then they had to make their way to Rustaveli to perform dancing challenge there they had to learn the routine then then there was Pit Stop(Bridge of Peace) Phil was holding Churchkhelas there dont know why.
Interesting things: Shockingly Kurt and Brodie were seen in Tbilisi :wohoo:
Also There wasn't much sightings of some teams and I couldn't see any FF team including Jessica and Brittany
Reporter said there would be 5 continents and 10 countries visited(that's what Phil said I think) this time
Also They took interview from Kurt(of Brodie and Kurt) who said that their taxi driver didn't really know much English but Burnie and Ashley's cab driver didn't know any word so they struggled
Also Matt and Dana were taken to Botanical garden instead of Narikhala and Scott and Blair got a little lost too
There probably was Detour at some point because Blair was holding a clue after getting to know they had to go to Narikhala Fortress as I remember and pics will come soon I mean later :D . Oh and Dana and Matt told Tyler and Korey good luck after receiving clue on Freedom Square. Lots of tasks, interesting tasks IMO and I think it will be a great leg :trampb:
Oh and dancing task was roadblock I think Sheri did it

As of my research those teams will be for Season 28. So that part might be in #TheAmazingRace watch out. :)

After a long-waited day since the morning, our ground crew had finally got a chance to witness the "second time" arrival of TAR 28 to BALI.., so thousands and thousands of thanks and appreciation for their time and effort for today..
Ground crew made it to the international arrival gate at the airport just in-time to catch the teams spread out finding taxis...
the order of teams that got out from the arrival door are as follow (first to last is from left to right) :

Now, the mechanism of picking these numbers is that the first 2 teams got an advantage for early release 15 Minutes ahead of the rest... So, yeah, Zach-Rachel and Dana-Matt were the two teams that got the 30 minutes disadvantage... :'(

In Natural Salt Maker, each team has to pick up salt from the coast, and then bring them to the draining area, not sure what they are doing next in the draining area, it's either spread the salt or collect them until they reach a certain amount of weight...

In Traditional Food Waiter, each team has to serve a bowl of Bakso, traditional food consist of noodle and meatballs, and sell them to the local people and visitors around Goa Lawah (Lawah cave temple), when they reach a certain amount of earning, they may continue the race..
Only this time they are not pushing the Bakso cart, instead they sell the bakso from the modified-motorcycle bakso stall... :funny:
(I find this really funny, still better from the original cart rather than modified-motorcycle food stall)

In this Roadblock :
Sanur area is famous with kite festival. in this roadblock team member must make/assemble big kite and it should match with the example. it seems this is detail oriented task. Each stand has local people (around 6 people) wearing Balinese cloth. They probably will help the racers to fly the kite after they have finished assembling.

My guess is racers will get blessing from a priest because tomorrow is one of the holy day for Hindus people in Bali.
I have to give huge thank you & appreciation for my friend Michael. He flew from Bandung to Bali, arrived around 08.00 PM and then help me to track the racers. I couldn't do this by myself. I can't post much at the moment because its' almost 03.00 AM here. try to take a rest and hopefully tomorrow we can catch them

ROADBLOCK at Mertasari Beach, Sanur:
Sanur area is famous with kite festival. in this roadblock team member must make/assemble big kite and it should match with the example. it seems this is detail oriented task. Each stand has local people (around 6 people) wearing Balinese cloth. They probably will help the racers to fly the kite after they have finished assembling.
We couldn't stay there longer and don't know where the pit stop was. Sorry everyone :( :(

As you all know, there was a well publicized spoiler about the Melbourne Star.
RFF pulled it believing that it was a future spoiler and could put the racers at some risk.
About 10 days ago we learned that TAR Israel would be filming this week in Melbourne.

There they entered TAXIS and traveled to a Santa Barbara dock.
We were sadly unable to 100% confirm this actual location, but the likeliest is The Santa Barbara Harbor, possibly Stearns Wharf.

Gibraltar Rock (http://www.summitpost.org/gibraltar-rock/487232) which is in Rattlesnake Canyon which is next to Gibraltar Road. It is a well known rock climbing site(follow the link).
We had 3 pieces of confirming evidence of this.

Speaking of the usefulness of my little HAM radio... We went up to camp at the hot springs this weekend, and OTW back down there was a major production going on at Gibraltar rock, with a zipline setup from the top of the rock to the other side of the mountain, downhill skateboarders, and mountain bikers. Looked like a major commercial being filmed. As we passed the turnout by the rock, one of the tech/grip looking guys flagged me down and asked if I had a way to communicate with the paragliders who were flying the canyon, to let them know a helicopter was coming in shortly to film this zipline stunt. I know that the paragliders use HAM radios as comms up there, so I called a buddy who flies and asked him for the frequency, got one of the pilots on the radio, and let them know the bird was coming. They were stoked to have been given the heads-up, the production crew was stoked, and I was ecstatic that I was able to use the little Baofeng to help these guys out. HAM Radio FTMFW!
