We've got a nice selection of International Amazing Race's from a number of countries and regions, but which country or region would you like to see get its own TAR?
For me, undoubtedly the answer would be Japan.
-
The UK needs one but it's chances are slim as shows with pre-recorded winners (save The Apprentice) are generally disliked here, it's the reason why Survivor UK got axed after 2 seasons :(
-
UK and Brazil, those two would be fine by me.
-
Definitely the UK and kinda surprised it hasn't happened yet :x
-
UK should have their own version. If they make their own version, I really hope they make a "Commonwealth Edition", where they visit countries that is member of the Commonwealth.
And also, a Scandinavian version would be awesome.
-
We in the UK need one! Even if they just went around the Commonwealth, it'd be awesome.
-
TAR North Korea: They race around the country to show how prosperous it is and what a great country they live in, highlighting the positives and showing only the positives. Winning team wins 1,000,000 KPW but "chooses" to donate to the Great Leader instead.
-
Going to be a bit biased here and say New Zealand deserves it's own version :D

TAR North Korea must happen :hearts:
-
Definitely TAR UK
And TAR Korea... South Korea, that is.
But really I just want TAR Asia to rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
-
I'd really love a scandinavian version of TAR.
And another season of TAR china rush would be awesome. I recently finished the first china rush season, and it was amazing!!
-
:bigwelcome to RFF, Crat1!!!
-
Nordic countries TAR (Involves Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) would be awesome. The Central Europe TAR project should be revived as well. South Korea and Japan TAR is a good way too. TAR Australia should change its name to TAR Australasia so that it can include contestant from New Zealand and surrounding Oceanic countries.
-
Spain! I want to be on The Amazing Race. :(
-

Thank you georgiapeach!

I really agree with you here, a nordic version would be really exciting to watch. I'd love to watch japanese people wander around in different countries!

As much as I would like to have a TAR Argentina, after the trainwrecks that were both the Brazilian and Ecuadorian editions, I'm going to say "no" to the idea. :(

A Japanese and Korean version would be nice and funny (TAR Korea vs Japan). I love to see Japanglish and Konglish accent on them. :lol3:
-
Spain! I want to be on The Amazing Race. :(
The Iberian version (Portugal and Spain) might be suitable for you. I hope the Iberian version have more budget to race around the world, not like the cheap Latin America version which is only race around SA and Caribbean Island.
-
A Russian edition would be interesting to watch.
It could be a China Rush(ian :funny:) kind of version, where they traveling across Russia.
Or maybe a Soviet Edition, where they visit former Soviet countries.

It will just be an extended version of Running Man or maybe like TAR China! :funny:
-
Would be nice to see a season of pures Venezuelans around the worl..Or atleast southamericans but traveling outside southamerica..Going t oeurope maybe.
-
If there was The Amazing Race in UK, I wished Benedict Cumberbatch will be the host of the show (that means it will air on BBC One)!!!! If it's UK I think they will change the title of the show maybe like: "Super Race" or maybe something else (They also do that in UK like: Wipeout [Total Wipeout] and Project Runway [Project Catwalk]).
I wish there's The Amazing Race South Africa!!!
-
I really don't understand why TAR UK hasn't happened yet... really obvious franchise that could be really interesting...
Also I wish TAR Latin America would expand their limits to the rest of the world but it would probably called something else and be a side franchise different from the TARLA we know now.
-
or the amazing race Ottoman (travel around countries which was part of Ottoman Empire
-
If there was The Amazing Race: South Africa, it would be great, and also travel around the globe.
-
I need Amazing Race Uk that would include Ireland :'( or maybe even and Amazing Race Europe that would be awesome. But I think we need an Amazing Race Monaco where they race around the entire country :funny:
-
TAR BRITISH ISLES would be a solution to include people from UK and Ireland.
TAR IBERIA could include people from Andorra, Portugal and Spain. This might be the budget version of TAR Latin America with a full race circulating the world.
TAR MONACO racing in Monaco would be a trainwreck to watch on TV though. :lol3: I expect they will have full international race with the very expensive and impressive route (British Isles/Italy/France/Nordic countries/German speaking countries Europe legs, Angola/Senegal/South Africa legs, Middle East legs, Singapore/Philippines/HK/South Korea/Japan legs, Oceania/Australia/NZ legs, US/Canada legs) since Monaco are generally rich.
How about TAR LICHTENSTEIN OR TAR SINGAPORE??? :funny:
-
I kind of want TAR:Thailand so I can apply. :funny: But think again, it'll likely be a complete trainwreck. Since I think it will be very bad idea as the budget can probably only cover to travel around Thailand (and maybe boundary like Malaysia/Laos/Burma/Cambodia) and it'll full of drama like every reality show in Thailand. :funny: :funny:

Portugal and Spain are broken, how would they have more budget than Latin America?
-
Like everyone else has said TAR UK / Ireland would be incredible - Not being biased or anything ....... **Shifty Eyes**
But all joking aside, a UK version is probably unlikely due to all the security measures UK & Ireland nationals face when entering Non-European countries, mainly Visa issues. :'( (:;)
-
TAR Indonesia. God, just a race around the country will be sufficient since it can also promote our tourism. I am not asking much. :)
Additionally, I think Indonesia is great at making dramatic reality show (I really enjoy the first and second season of Masterchef here), so TAR Indonesia will be really great. I don't even mind the product placement if it happens.
-
TAR Scandinavia is interesting in my opinion. Having racers from 5 countries is not too much and not too less. :colors
TAR UK is cool, simply cool. They could do a UK vs Ireland in a few seasons after I guess.
TAR Europe will be interesting if possible, and so will TAR America, which will include racers from NorthAm, SouthAm, CentralAm, and the Caribbean.
I'd also say TAR Antarctica, but… :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:
If I were to dream, TAR: Through Time and Space would be incredibly amazing! :colors
-
TAR: Middle East would be awesome :funny: (never gonna happen though)
-
With the formation of ASEAN Economic community, The amazing race asia should be revived with teams from 11 ASEAN countries
-
I've said it a million times but New Zealand!
-
The amazing race Visegrad (Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary), all countries all this group have very high passport index https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henley_Passport_Index
-
I still say TAR UK and TAR Korea.
Korea's TAR would most certainly be celebrity teams, especially K-pop idols. But then that would kind of limit where they could go since they'd get recognized in a bunch of countries. Especially the typical places TAR visits lol
-
I need to see TAR UK and TAR South Africa!
