As the title says it, who do you want to see in an all-star or unfinished business season? :cmas9
My top choices for all-star (from TAR25 of course) are the Cyclists and the Wrestlers, but I will be glad to see anybody back from TAR25. :xmas146

Given the edit that the Dentists got towards the end, I wouldn't be surprised to see them return. Surfer will probably be the new "Cowboys" and I HOPE the cowboys do not return, I'm sure TAR realize they don't draw ratings by now.

I'm still holding out hope for returning teams from the earliest seasons. Specifically: Ken & Gerard, Colin & Christy, Linda & Karen, Kris & Jon, Lena & Kristy, and the Gaghans.
And if they ever do three-peaters again, my only choices would be Dustin & Kandace and Oswald & Danny. These two teams have been amazing on both of their seasons, and being from an earlier era should not be a hindrance from asking them back!

TAR25 have a lot of teams to consider for all stars/UB... I mean Dentists, Surfers, Wrestlers, Cyclist and Mom/Daughter are all star material.

Why the producers just seem to don't care about the teams from pre-AS1? I think it would be awesome to see some teams that raced like 10/11/12 years and had totally different rules and aspects when they did it. If they really go after these people,some of them will sure accept to do it again. For me,I want to see Billy & Carissa,the 2 poor kids from The Black Family (that only had the chance to race 1 leg) or Rolly from The Weaver Family (the teenager that did SEVEN Roadblocks and took his family to the Final 3) get called as all of them are at least close to being 18 years old. But there are a LOT of teams from these seasons that were memorable.
My other advices are: DON'T CALL TEAMS FOR A THIRD TIME (Specially Country Idiots).
DON'T CHOOSE TEAMS BASED ON YOUR FACEBOOK FANS.
DON'T DO A ROUTE WITH 2 LEGS IN ALL COUNTRIES YOU PASS.

Completely agree.
I would like to see Dustin & Kandice :luvya: and Charla & Mirna :hearts: again although they we're threepeaters. And not forget for Brook & Claire too.
So, if they want to include threepeaters in next All Star, I would like to see all of them again.

Well, I just need them to race again. All the female teams that race after them not as aggressive as them (Well NaNa and Brooke/Claire are fierce) but they're very aggressive and their meltdown are fun for TV. And Jaime is probably one of the most famous individual that come from TAR so why not?
I also want Tim/Marie to come back. Nicole/Travis too (mainly for Nicole incompetence meltdown)

TAR9 was good. It was the first season I've ever watched so I'm biased. :lol: But bringing back John & Scott is the worst thing ever. No one remembers that team! If they're gonna bring someone back from TAR9, it should be MoJos (and maybe Lake & Michelle). Fran & Barry would be nice to watch, but given their age, it wouldn't be possible.
I hope we'll be able to see teams before the first AS. These are the teams I wanna see race again.

Now that we are talking returning racers again...
How would you guys feel if starting on season 27 one of the teams racing would be a team from a previous season?
Let's say 10 unknown/new teams + 1 returning team
I think it could be interesting to see how the new teams align to get rid of the threat of this returning team, they would probably be the enemy team and the focused of U-Turns but would also run with experience and the advantage that comes with it. Or maybe they would be a team to make friends so they can share their experience and tricks learnt in their previous season.

For example, Katie of TAR 22 with Marie of TAR 23. They can make new teams mixing teams of previous seasons.
Of course, If they make a new Returning Racers, I would prefer people who participated just one time. No more Cowboys, Mallory, Margie & Luke, etc...

On TAR 26, I might be in the minority but I think Harley and Jonathan have a decent potential to get an invite for All Stars. For a team that got kicked out pretty early they actually have a solid editing.
As for Unfinished Business, Steve and Aly better be invited just for the fact that they had the worst flat tire accident ever! I am just hoping they don't like split up or something in the future.
Jeff and Jackie could fit into any of the two seasons. Not that sure if their story is Unfinished Business worthy, not even sure if they're still willing to race with each other (hopefully they're), but definitely yes for an All-Stars.

Both TAR25 and TAR26 can take the role of TAR14/TAR22 on a returning teams season, both casts are extremely solid.

Yeah, I just don't get it why they overcast people from 14. I mean, okay, Luke & Margie and Jen & Kisha , I know why they got second chance, maybe even Jamie & Cara too. But Amanda & Kris and Mel & Mike were BIG fat MEH to me.

Actually all the early boot of TAR19 , 20 , 21 and 25 had lots of potential. (Kalyani & Lisa , Misa & Maiya , The real estate girl from TAR25, etc.) But I highly doubt they'll come back. :(

Now Season 26 has wrapped up, I can safely say that Mike & Rochelle, Hayley & Blair, and Jenny & Jelani would be AMAZING to see again.
The chances of producers picking Mike & Rochelle is rather unlikely, but they were brutally robbed in the finale, so I'm really hoping that comes into consideration when they're making a decision. ???
They weren't the strongest team, but they were definitely one of the most loved, and everyone loves an Underdog Story. Imagine the scenario - A team considered to be one of the weakest in their first race, only to overcome the odds, reach the final Leg, but horribly fall due to a taxi driver. Only to return in a season with much stronger teams, overcome the odds once again and win. Now that truly would be the greatest underdog story in TAR history. :<3 :wohoo: And they've both said they'd love to do the race again, so it's just a matter of being asked. :grins:
Hayley & Blair got an edit that sets up a potential return, and I'd be rather baffled if they're not invited back.
Jenny & Jelani on the other hand, although they deserve a 2nd chance, I can't really see producers bringing them back. :(
Whatever the 3rd Returnee Season is dubbed as, producers have such an amazing list of teams to choose from, from both TAR 25 & 26.

How this cast stacks up:
- Kelly & Shevonne: the only way I see it is if they film TAR: Heroes vs Villains right after finishing 28 and none of the female teams from 28 are villainous AND they don't just bring Natalie and Nadiya back.
- Alex & Adam: they're fun and all but no sorry :/
- Ernest & Jin: actually pretty high lol. This show loves slotting in a token minority team and they have the benefit of being likable AND telegenic AND vaguely famous AND with an easily exploitable tragic backstory AND were unexpectedly eliminated early.
- Jazmine & Danielle: yeah, no.
- Cindy & Rick: were present for all of five minutes so nope.
- Tanner & Josh: while I feel the show might have an obligation to bring them back after that broken Speed Bump that disguised how cheap they were, they benefit from being a good M/M team that made it far without being dominant and actually had screen time. I'm hesitant to say yes for reasons that will become obvious but...yes.
- Denise & James Earl: we'll see what the future holds regarding casting but for now yes.
- Tiffany & Krista: wasted their time unpacking back home (also yes)
- Chris & Logan: yes HOWEVER as alternatives to Blair & Hayley or Brooke & Robbie (basically I would want two trainwreck "couples") cast and they're my least favorite of the three :(
- whatshisface & Diana: If they do another returning player season watch them be That One Team whose omissions glaring and yet, not really a big deal (c.f. BJ & Tyler not camera hogging, Toni & Dallas not boringly worsening UB, most of the speculated cast of That One Season dodging a bullet). If they do go back I suspect they'll be Romber of a new decade and get hosed in a "LEVEL FIIIIIIVE" style footrace with...probably Any & Maya or Brooke & Claire.
- Kelsey & Joey: while I would absolutely LOVE to see them being those hats with their names back...who are they? (Probably winning 27 lol)

I'd rather not have the categories and just have the 11 teams with the most votes be qualified, but I would agree with this wish too.

Shelley & Nici are a perfect example of a TAR 'Superfan' team= They are fans but they don't act fake on camera to try and impress other fans.
That, and that they're an awesome parent/child team! I really loved their arc of going from pure hatred and nearly finishing last on Leg 4 to fixing their relationship and being happy again on Leg 5 and even nearly winning the leg :lol:

What the heck, no way! There are so many amazing teams in the middle era (S12-17) and it would be hella exciting to see teams from the early pre-AS seasons. Just look at Survivor and how great it was to have a diverse pool.

Yeah, I fear that if TAR ever did a voting ala Survivor: Cambodia, we would get a really horrid cast. It seems that most of the people watching TAR are casuals, and their opinions really scare me sometimes. At least there are good Survivor folk, even casuals, who get what is good for the show. But TAR casuals would never vote people like Blair/Hayley, Nicky/Kim, Shelley/Nici back on.

Now that you mentioned it, maybe they should just disqualify 2-peats and 3-peats. :grins: I'd rather have a winner race for the 2nd time rather than having to see a team for the 3rd or 4th time, because being able to experience traveling around the world is different from winning a million dollars. ;D

Adam & Bethany - Had a race altered for them, token returnees since they got 3rd place.
Kym & Alli - A "competitive" F/F team that while I was meh on, had a lot of fans and got screwed over because the surfing team challenged them to a surfing FF.
Hayley & Blair - The controversial team of TAR26. AS locks unless they DENY.
Mike & Rochelle - Would hope not, but can see them as beta male/Alpha female token team.
Matt & Ashley - Potentially? Didn't feel much towards them.
Tiffany & Krista - Screwed over by taxi club, a F/F team loved by casuals(?)
Denise & James Earl - Lovable M/S? I didn't watch past ep3(and 11 because I was told a different ending) but could see them being cast.
Tanner & Josh - Screwed over by production wanting a safety net for youknowwho.
Justin & Diana - If they lose a season built for them then prod. will bring them back. But they're the only team featured this season so hopefully they'll win and be forgotten.

Yeah, only teams who played once, no matter in what season they competed. The only exception would be Bopper & Mark because they weren't able to compete together in their second chance.
I don't think people would vote for Green, but i'm sure production would do something to see them again. :gaah:

In all honesty, I think they will only date back as far as TAR19 considering TAR11 dated back up to 10 seasons only, should TAR29 be Returnees.

I'm watching TAR 3 again and I am enjoying how funny and entertaining Ken and Gerard are. They deliver every single episode. It's just one great line after another. Why can't we have teams with more personality in the recent seasons?

The 27 past teams would be chosen by an online public vote just like Big Brother All-Stars several years ago and last year's Survivor Second Chance. They had played once before and not yet won in their original TAR season. The candidates will consist of 9 F/F, 9 M/F and 9 M/M, which applies in all seasons. Once the public vote would close, the 27 candidate teams would be picked for 11 or 12 teams to be selected on TAR 30.
For all, either a team could make a composite team shown as above (ala Eric/Danielle and Mark/Mallory).
THE RULES
This applies for TAR 30 only, there will be no former winners, three-peats and four-timers.
Bopper & Mark are ineligible to give another shot, Mark has done in TAR 24 that could not compete for TAR 30. For Bopper, he can't make a backup partner as well.
Not include past teams are no longer in their relationship (Joseph & Monica, Brooke & Robbie).

Weren't Amani & Marcus asked for TAR 24? That makes me sad. TAR 24 could have had an amazing cast (even better than what Returning Racers Part 4 might be, after I made some lists for Part 4, the cast seems only OK).
Where on Earth were Bill & Cathi?!? I'm kind of glad they didn't return so we didn't have to see them get eliminated on, like, Leg 2.
The fact that Andy & Tommy didn't return makes me question if they'll invite a dominant team like Justin & Diana. They were probably just (rightfully) overshadowed by better teams. I didn't like them anyway.
Liz & Marie had a memorable elimination but are too weak/forgettable (like TAR 19 :lol: :( ) to return imo.
TAR 20:
Joey "Fitness" & Danny have to be one of the most underrated M/M teams of all time. If they made it a little farther they would've returned. But memorable elimination for sure!
Nary & Jamie omg the way you summarize their downfall :lol: Sometimes I think: how would they have done on a different season? TAR 20 was super competitive (none of the Final 3 ever fell below 6th) and so dramatic I loved it. Definitely overshadowed like above team.
Honestly, if they didn't hesitate to bring THREE Threepeaters, they may not hesitate with Bopper & Mark, TAR/CBS were in love with them.
TAR 21:
I adored Trey & Lexi and their relationship, actually loved each other and never fought. However, they were forgettable unfortunately.
Why didn't Jaymes & James return?!? Another HUGE missed opportunity for TAR 24.
James & Abba deserved to return for an Unfinished Business type of season. All Stars... nah.
TAR 22:
Max & Katie are yet another missed opportunity. Enough said.
Chuck & Wynona were uncomfortable to watch by the end of their Race. Instead of an inspiring Sheri edit, it was just... uncomfortable.
TAR 23:
Nicky & Kim showed potential but never reached that potential. Unfortunately, they're forgettable.
Tim & Danny are actually one of my favorite M/M teams. So down-to-earth/normal. Also forgettable :/
Tim & Marie I can see why she turned it down but they should've returned!
I don't see TAR asking any of these teams back simply because they're from pre-TAR 24. Marie was told by a casting director that if she said no to TAR 24, she wouldn't be asked back again (maybe an empty threat? :lol: )
TAR 25:
Tim & Te Jay were sadly INV during their Race... just like Zach & Rachel of 28! Therefore, forgettable.
Misti & Jim were annoying. Jim's obsession with winning and only winning really turned me off.
Kym & Alli need to return. And TAR needs more F/F teams like this. Please.
Shelley & Nici probably won't return and will be overlooked like all 7th placers.
Adam & Bethany were boring but I definitely see them returning to please casuals.
Brooke & Robbie should return JV/J style! But the question is... are they mature enough??

Andy & Tommy were asked (and on the cast list for the spoiled pre-show thing), but one of their wives had a kid and just gave birth, so I'm assuming they declined. AFAIK, Jessica & John weren't on the cast list at the time too, so Margie & Luke and Jess/John presumably replaced the two TAR19 teams.
Bill & Cathi may have also been asked, but remember - One of them is a principal. They could have done 19 because filming was in Summer. 24 filmed in Spring. I think they may be asked, but it's been quite some time now and I don't see them leaving their jobs unless they retire.

I agree about the TAR20 teams being overshadowed, but it's also been 8 seasons and I think TAR can only go as back as 7 TBH (TAR1 - 11, TAR11 - 18 gap, TAR18 - 24 gap. The gap has been shortening since the TAR1-11 stretch).
Sadly, like 19, I think 20 will be snubbed. (And let's be real, Mopper are on the Price is Right special. What if that was production's last chance of giving them money? =/)

Natalie and Nadia, but only because one of them won Survivor. I HATE it when they bring a team that won or was closing to winning from a different show.
Justin and Diana, they won enough prizes, ok. Besides, I don't want to hear Justin complaining about not being first.
Tyler and Korey, same reason as Justin and Diana. I feel it's kinda wrong to let someone who won 5+ trips around the world back on the show. It'd be like if someone competing for a million dollars won $500,000 from the last season, and was allowed back because s/he was popular.

I also think that CBS has the potential to create an incredibly competitive season. But in order to do so they would have to completely cut out 26, and replace Mike & Rochelle,Tiffany & Krysta, and Sheri & Cole with teams like Misti & Jim, Brodie & Kurt, Tyler & Korey or maybe even Tara & Joey.
I also think it's likely that they won't have many teams from the two big gimmick seasons. 26 was a flop, and the one really memorable team from it can't race together anymore due to Hayley being engaged. Then with 28, it wasn't as much of a flop, but these are teams that already have a lot of fame, so if they do have many teams from 28, it'll be entirely to bring in new viewers, but I think CBS learned from 28 that it didn't do as much as they thought (correct me if I'm wrong).
If CBS is willing to go back further, I do think it's likely that we could also see Mark & Bopper, due to the circumstances that kept them from racing previously, and if we're gonna go back that far, I think it'd be safe to consider that once again they'd bring back the Cowboys, Globetrotters and/or Margie & Luke (although I think the latter seems the most unlikely) and maybe give a possible 3rd chance to Leo & Jamal. I, personally, wouldn't mind seeing any of these teams again, but I know RFF wouldn't be too keen on this, except maybe Mark & Bopper.

I think it's still unlikely given the situation. Plus, the whole premise of their team was a "date", so making it friends would not only be strange considering the entire premise of 26, but also it could showcase CBS's failure to create love with the blind dates. I would love to see Hayley and Blair back, but I don't really see it happening.

Adam & Bethany (S25, 3rd) : Bethany proved the world having one hand is enough, but she is not able to put the cities in order
Hayley & Blair (S26, 3rd) : Hayley was always right, until the last roadblock which blew their win
Justin & Diana (S27, 2nd) : Dominating the whole race with 7 leg wins, only to lose it at the final leg
Tiffany & Krista (S27, 4th) : Having such a lead for the penultimate leg, only to struggled in the roadblock, cannot recover despite an hour log penalty of the other team
Tyler & Korey (S28, 3rd) : Winning the most legs, but fell short caused Tyler cannot jump a leap of faith
Brodie & Kurt (S28, 5th) : Getting teamed up by the other teams' double u-turn plan of the others justifying their existence

a definitive all-stars list for prospective s31/32
1] Kym and Alli - they don't even need justification; they're a well rounded , funny and an absolutely lovable team.
2] Shelley and Nici - they were super fans who weren't irksome, really knew the value of them racing, and everybody loves parental teams.
3] Mike and Rochelle - This couple still remains even after the cumbersome race, they showed us what love meant and were absolute underdogs who deserve a second chance!
4] Tiffany and Krista - (see : Kym and Alli) + they're really funny and quirky. They were believed to be the cliched blonde cheerleader team but they proved us wrong.
5] Tanner and Josh - I loved them so much on the show because every leg was an adventure for them and they didn't deserve to go home (see : unfair speed bump + unexpected u-turn)
6] Sheri and Cole - We don't even need to justify why they're here; the sweetest team to ever run the amazing race, and underdogs who nearly took home the cake
7] Tyler and Korey - for the casuals. And also because they were a little funny ? I don't know.
8] Brodie and Kurt / Redmond and Matt - Any one of these hyper-competitive alpha male teams. I'm not really their fans but you need a myriad of teams to make a season interesting.
9] Becca and Floyd - In a season filled with misfits and chaos these 2 were the only pure and fun-filled (literally) team. Hoping to see them return!
10] Kristi and Jen - Strongest female team to ever run the race; they'll show that men ain't got nothing on women.
11] Alex and Conor - They were a highly awkward team in the first few legs but for 2/3rds of it they really grew on us. imo They didn't have a graceful exit as they spent their last leg majorly frustrated and lost just by the skin of their necks.
and now for unfinished business because we're like 12 seasons due !! - (from seasons 19-30 excluding 19 cause that **** was boring)
1] Bopper and Mark - Remember Mallory y'all? Bopper did it better.
2] Jaymes and James - It has been 6 years but I'm sure they're worthy of a second chance.
3] Caroline and Jennifer - they would be threepeating but like,,, they're actually funny girls who broke the archetype of dumb blonde girls (see: Dustin and Kandice) by coming in 4th on their original season and 2nd on their next run - Let them take 1st once and for all !!!
4] Nicky and Kim - (I think) they were the first team in TAR history to combat an unprecedented u-turn and a speed bump. A grueling leg ultimately led to their elimination. They rightfully deserve a second chance.
5] Misti and Jim / Nicole and Travis - both hyper-competitive married doctors who earned stiff reputations on their runs. They would idly want a second chance.
6] Kym and Alli - they were their season's most successful team and literally no one predicted their elimination; a botched fast-forward really threw them off. They deserve a chance at redemption.

8] Burnie and Ashley - a wrong detour and absolute chaos on the penultimate leg led to their elimination. Imagine placing 2nd 4 legs in a row and then hoping for a victory only to have your hopes slashed on the second to last leg...
9] Liz and Mike - They developed a strong synergy, albeit not being the best team of their season, they were a strong duo. Again, a u-turn and a speed bump should practically be outlawed.
10] Brittany and Lucas - a passport disaster that ended in their elimination before they could even attempt their leg. They definitely deserve a second chance.
11] Henry and Evan - they were this close to winning. Your moral conscience already knows they deserve another shot.

Note 4: I took out all the teams from TAR26. :o Shows how it's probably my least favorite season among the recent 6, cast-wise. I guess it was the lack of diversity in the cast. ??? I'd be glad to see some or any of those teams again though.

I was hoping for a JV & Jill scenario for Brooke & Robbie, but I didn't know about the baby, which I assume is with someone not Robbie? I mean, what are the chances they'd agree to race together? :duno:
As for pregnant ex-racers, I think the returning racers season doesn't have to happen right away. Although, I understand that their focus in life would be their children, so it's gonna be hard to leave for the race.
However, I do agree that it will be unlikely for an all-star season soon, considering the gimmicks they've been actively doing more. 2 recent seasons involve strangers too.
