There's been a lot of clues though. Other than the initial "Biyaheng Asya" subtitle when season 2 was first announced in January;
They made an effort to specifically search for teams that have Philippine passports, which is also one reason, apparently, that they kept extending the application deadline.
Promos have teased bigger, brand new locations.
And the brand new title card and graphics specifically focus on Asia.
So let's hope! :hoot:

I think especially for this season, they will only be going to countries that don't require visas for Filipino passport holders. Or at least, countries that give visas on arrival.
That means Cambodia and Indonesia are fine. Unfortunately Bangladesh, China and South Korea would have to wait another season or two. :)

So these Ilocos sightings the last few days have been interesting.
Seems like Derek and the TAR production team went ahead to Laoag from Pangasinan on 9/1 with the actual Racing taking place late 9/2 and all day 9/3.

So Derek has been in the Cebu area the last day or two. And this person tweeted to Derek a pic with who they say is an Amazing Race director, but after Derek's little basketball event the other day in Cebu, I don't think we can take all Derek sightings as a TARPh sighting anymore.
So a heads up, I guess, unless there are Race flags, Derek with a camera crew or team sightings, we can't absolutely say they are a TARPh sighting.

Laoag to Cebu route is interesting. Why?
Getting to Manila is important before heading to Cebu.
1. Teams will take a bus overnight to Manila. That's a grueling 10-12 hou ride,
2. Teams will take a plane to Manila (afternoon or late at night) BUT carriers are always in full capacity. Maybe there are priority check-in for them. Only PAL, PALExpress and CebuPac flies to Laoag-Manila and vise versa.

There have been some tweets of Derek being spotted in the Cebu and Bohol area, but gleeki's post is the only specific Race sighting.
Meanwhile, Derek has posted an Instagram pic (http://instagram.com/p/sq-adYjNUg/) of him on a Cebu Pacific flight heading somewhere.

I just got back from my amazing race guys and boy do I have a lot to tell you, first of all the Iloilo Old Provincial Jail is not a pitstop, it's a roadblock, the task you ask...well it has something to do with the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, I can hear screaming from the inside.
My theory is that teams somehow must survive a zombie apocalypse without their flaglets taken away from them,. I'll upload the pics in a few moments :hearts: :)
Earlier today I went back to the bamboo and unfortunately I saw several teams already doing the task, there were 2 co-ed teams, both wearing green tees and and another co-ed couple wearing sleveeless, well the guy was wearing a sort gray sleeveless shirt, I hardly caught a glimpse of his partner. :iok
From what I know and heard who were already watching them they were the first two teams to arrive respectively, followed by an unknown team possibly an girl team, followed by a young guys in his mid twenties and an old man (possibly his dad). Then hours later the last two teams arrived, it was both guys wearing glasses then the last were two foreigners who followed them.
After that I'm pretty sure they took all the props from the pedicabs probably signaling they are done in that area.
Oh and before I forget those pedicabs without the hood are actually for the cameramen to film them sorry :-[

She's the local he has to drive, his partner is the old man, hanging on the pedicab, you can see from the back his partner is the old man :yess: note his backpack

The last pic shows them already finished with the task, and fun fact they were the only team who took the pedicab detour, all other teams took the bamboo challenge

Aww too bad I would have loved to see them get far, anyway after they were done in mandurriao, we went by taxi to the old iloilo provincial jail, as I never been to that place and my friend has no clue either, we decided to ask a local shop for directions, somehow you can say we also have our own amazing race :hearts: and while were heading to the Old Provincial Jail this is where something unexpected happened, a team that we already saw finished the bamboo task earlier has suddenly come out of nowhere, apparently the jail isn't the pitstop at all, it's just a roadblock, here's the closest pics my friend got before the cameraman told her not to take the pictures.
The old lady I talked to back in mandurriao said they were wearing green, so it's possible that it could be them.
Note the rexona brand on his back, yep that's the couple in red I saw, the girl was screaming because she couldn't get a cab
The last pic of the red team shows what I mean when I said my friend couldn't take a picture, she got to close to them :)
Thanks to the large gap were able to see what was going inside like this pic of a guy, I'm not yet sure if he's part of a team :)

Honestly I didn't see the glasses team at all, it was only the foreigners and the father/son team I saw, they were probably going head to head, the glasses team I speculate fell behind and got lost, and got passed by the foreigners on their way to the Provincial Jail, I didn't stay there for long actually , sorry :)

Hey pipz look closely at this red team, focus on the person the farthest from the picture, I can see a ponytail which means this is a possible co-ed team, that includes the scream I heard from her, also since Rexona could be the sponsor for the season I'm guessing all teams have the name Rexona printed on their fanny packs.

But the blonde girl and partner may not be Cassy & Pia. Or at least, not Pia Wurtzbach. She's been appearing at mall shows and events since the Race started.

I really strongly believe Matthew and Phoebe are this team, I can see the similarities between these two, just look at that moustache and that girls red hair, and the guys hair, it's a strong speculation.

Well I never saw the green team clearly with my own eyes, only the sleeveless male/female team behind them, the only clue I know there was a green team was because a lot of people said (if not all of them) especially the old lady I talked to were wearing green tees. The green team were too far for me to identify correctly and because they parked their taxi too far.

Right now I'm having second thoughts if there ever was a third F/F team alongside the 2 co-ed teams that were with them, it's been bugging me ever since, I was there the whole time between the time the 2 co-ed teams were finishing up and when father/son arrived, people's description about that rumored F/F team is too fuzzy, now that I think about it. Either that or I was just too stupid that I didn't notice a F/F team running around.
Now I'm thinking there are actually only 5 teams left, they made 6 pedicabs in order to throw us off. Eh we'll find out once new spoilers are being posted. :crazy: ???
To be honest most of the people that were watching don't really know the Amazing Race that much and probably have no clue on how the game works, most them assume after delivering the bamboos they have to deliver the groceries using the pedicab.

Yeah I guess you're right Peach, but you can't exclude the fact they probably added one more as a replacement just in case one pedicab breaks down. My stand on this, it's now a 50 50 between 5 or 6 teams at this time, at least until we get new spoilers from wherever they're headed next. :wohoo: For now the team I'm rooting for the father/son and guys in glasses, both teams who hopefully did not get eliminated in this leg.

It all makes sense to me now, starting in Bohol, there would be only 6 left during that time, here's how it could possibly go down, if there were twelve legs this could be the list, plus the fact that they are cost cutting
leg 7 - Bohol would be an elimination, 6 teams down to 5
leg 8 - Iloilo would be NEL
leg 9 - Misamis is an possible elimination leg with 5 teams down to 4
leg 10 - ??? is possibly NEL still with 4 teams

It would be great to see the Speed Bump introduced. Based on TARA before, Active TV appears to like throwing any and all twists together into seasons, so we might get a strange mix of penalties. lol

Yeah, it looks like the first 4-5 teams were released from whatever mini-sequester they were in, but I would be surprised if they won't have the teams at the Finish Line. They'll fly them all to the Finish Line I think, it's a signature TAR moment that they wouldn't mess with.

I don't think those are the true results, you know why? because if you've seen the promos, you can clearly see there is preview of Luz/Gretchen fighting and accusing each other of not working as a team, that has so far not been shown yet, however I think I might know which team will be eliminated in the second leg based on all the info I gathered. :)

I can definitely rule out the nerds, team chef, jet/yna, matt/phoebe, kelvin/jp, aj/jody as all these teams got through leg 2 based on all the pictures and videos I have seen. Avy/Tina also made it because you can see in the promo that one of them is doing a roadblock that has something to do with fish. As for Juan D, they have been seen in Pangasinan so they're safe for the third leg. That leaves the impression that this team never made it past the second leg and that their streak of bad luck sealed their fate. :)

Too bad though, I wanted to see them in a future all-star season of TARP :'( That explains the absence of one of them during the presscon at Resorts World Manila for the premier of TARP :( they didn't wanna be seen with each other :'(

Guys I think I found out where the pitstop in the 4th leg in La Union is, based on the previews I can tell they heading through some sort of ruins, and I think the Pindangan Ruins in San Fernando, La Union matches the preview :wohoo: it matches the part where Phoebe/Matthew and Jet/Yna were running to the mat :wohoo:

Seems like Jeck & RR were last seen in the Manila leg, or was never seen at all. Them being in that part of the list added suspense during the first 2 legs. :lol: Well, quite sad there's no escaping for them this time. :( Unless for some reason it's a NEL, and they made it to Bohol without us knowing for some reason, and... (This is desperate. :( )
I wonder where the NEL is? ??? I hope it comes at the right time.
Also, seeing Jet & Yna and Matt & Phoebe on the same part of the list above, I'm hoping to see a footrace for last between those 2 teams.

I just got back from my amazing race guys and boy do I have a lot to tell you, first of all the Iloilo Old Provincial Jail is not a pitstop, it's a roadblock, the task you ask...well it has something to do with the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, I can hear screaming from the inside.
My theory is that teams somehow must survive a zombie apocalypse without their flaglets taken away from them,. I'll upload the pics in a few moments :hearts: :)
Earlier today I went back to the bamboo and unfortunately I saw several teams already doing the task, there were 2 co-ed teams, both wearing green tees and and another co-ed couple wearing sleveeless, well the guy was wearing a sort gray sleeveless shirt, I hardly caught a glimpse of his partner. :iok
From what I know and heard who were already watching them they were the first two teams to arrive respectively, followed by an unknown team possibly an girl team, followed by a young guys in his mid twenties and an old man (possibly his dad). Then hours later the last two teams arrived, it was both guys wearing glasses then the last were two foreigners who followed them.
After that I'm pretty sure they took all the props from the pedicabs probably signaling they are done in that area.
Oh and before I forget those pedicabs without the hood are actually for the cameramen to film them sorry :-[
So after weeks of watching TARPh, I speculate that the arrival order goes like this on that task:
Jet & Yna and Roch & Eji
Matt & Phoebe and AJ & Jody
Vince & Ed and Kelvin & JP
Honestly I didn't see the glasses team at all, it was only the foreigners and the father/son team I saw, they were probably going head to head, the glasses team I speculate fell behind and got lost, and got passed by the foreigners on their way to the Provincial Jail, I didn't stay there for long actually , sorry :)
So... JP & Kelvin were on a fight for last with AJ & Jody, but there's a chance that Vince & Ed got lost.
Looking back at the Bohol Yield photo (won't quote it anymore), AJ & Jody were Yielded by Kelvin & JP, Jet & Yna, Matt & Phoebe, and Roch & Eji. (I wonder why. ???) No Vince & Ed eh?

I'm speculating that there might be a Salvage Pass prize on Iloilo leg and Vince & Ed will not be saved.

I can confirm from this point on that when the Iloilo leg began, there were 5 teams left, the first three being AJ/Jody, JP/Kelvin and Vince/Ed. Roch/Ejji are also in the top 5 based in the trailer that I saw.
The only two I can't confirm are Matt/Phoebe and Jet/Yna, Matt and Phoebe because a lot people say they made it to the top 5, and because of the different forums that I've read of course. Jet and Yna because when I asked around a lot of bystanders, they said there was a green team, and green is usually Jet/Yna color scheme, and I hardly associate it with Matt and Phoebe because they always wear black and red, their usual color scheme.
Conclusion, somewhere between leg 6 and 7, either Matt/Phoebe or Jet/Yna got the boot and never made it to Iloilo :)

If Iloilo is Leg 8, there are suppose to be 5 teams, but what if...
TARP decided to have 2 NELs and a Double Elimination. Of course the chances of having this would be very small, but knowing that we'll only have 1 NEL, probably they decided to twist things a bit. ??? Just my guess.

As with AJ/Jody, they mostly have won first place in Leg 5 and Leg 6, that's why when Leg 7 began, teams decided to Yield the Father/Son to slow them down, thus their upcoming Yield in Bohol. Well it does make sense to Yield AJ/Jody that way. You don't see the always top 3 Jet/Yna getting a majority of the Yield or the U Turn :)

People, People I have an announcement to make, and It's good news, LEG 5 is a confirmed NEL, and RR and Jeck are safe for the next leg, for now. :wohoo: and this screenshot from the trailer proves it. Leg 5 is the NEL, I just found out about this while I was watching the video, RR and Jeck are safe for this leg :wohoo:
In all episodes that have aired so far, we have never seen RR in a bike challenge, so where did this come from?, and if you want to prove me wrong, you may do so :wohoo:

We know RR, Osang, Vince/Ed, Gretchen, JD Boys all tweeted during filming and that's an indication they didn't reach Final 3.
Filming ended 9/14 or 15. This, however is still speculation since they're not really tweeting that much.
Jody tweeted Sept18 and posted a picture of himself (with a cut on his forehead) on IG! As long as we don't get to see that incident, we can tell Aj/ody are safe until then. Or maybe they got it after the race? :crazy:

Charlie had a vacation in Thailand and Cambodia during filming. :lol:
RR posted something she is back after 2 weeks. Then posted on IG again that she is traveling to Camiguin island. I don't think they have rules for that or an Elimination Station.

I checked some twitter accounts of the racers to see if they tweeted after their elimination.
We know RR, Osang, Vince/Ed, Gretchen, JD Boys all tweeted during filming and that's an indication they didn't reach Final 3.
Filming ended 9/14 or 15. This, however is still speculation since they're not really tweeting that much.
Jody tweeted Sept18 and posted a picture of himself (with a cut on his forehead) on IG! As long as we don't get to see that incident, we can tell Aj/ody are safe until then. Or maybe they got it after the race? :crazy:
Matt tweeted Sept20.
Still trying to check other racers' twitter accounts.
Or they got someone else to tweet for them, gave a trusted friend their email and password and tweeted while the real owners were still racing :hoot: :)
Charlie had a vacation in Thailand and Cambodia during filming. :lol:
RR posted something she is back after 2 weeks. Then posted on IG again that she is traveling to Camiguin island. I don't think they have rules for that or an Elimination Station.

I think there should be an equalizer since they are likely leaving Ilocos and probably flying to Cebu. There was a clip in the trailer? I think of the teams running through Terminal 3. So they'll probably fly out of Laoag to Manila before flying to likely Cebu and go from there. It's the missing pre-Bohol Leg! No sightings at all. :)
I wonder if that clip of Derek at the Mat telling a team "This is a Race, you should race to the end" or something like that is to RR & Jeck who, as we know, don't really hustle when racing lol They'll probably stop for food or something again. lol

Guys I might need your help in confirming this, in one of trailers I saw, Derek was standing beside a statue (mostly a prince) and I wanna make sure if they are really heading to Riverstone Castle in Argao, Cebu for the next leg? I just need help in confirming this, anyone from Cebu?
I'm hoping it fits because Riverstone Castle Resort description kinda matches the one in the picture ???

People, People I have an announcement to make, and It's good news, LEG 5 is a confirmed NEL, and RR and Jeck are safe for the next leg, for now. :wohoo: and this screenshot from the trailer proves it. Leg 5 is the NEL, I just found out about this while I was watching the video, RR and Jeck are safe for this leg :wohoo:
In all episodes that have aired so far, we have never seen RR in a bike challenge, so where did this come from?, and if you want to prove me wrong, you may do so :wohoo:

If those 2 teams are absent, then it means that either they never made it to the finish line, or they were eliminated and they didn't come back to the finish line. Either way, we can confirm that they didn't win. :(

If spoilers are true that one of Jet/Yna or Matt/Phoebe are out next (which arrived at the next location at the same time based on previews), I wonder what could be the possible downfall.
After tonight's episode, it seems they are more than an hour or two ahead of JP/Kelvin and AJ/Jody plus the latter still has a Yield in tomorrow's episode which would probably last 30-45minutes.
Is it possible that they're probably decoys in Iloilo leg?

Tough one this is. ??? Can't wait for this Saturday's episode. :conf: If it's Jet & Yna, then it's gonna be their 1st time out of the top 3.
If I base the spoilers from Leonard's post, I'm gonna guess that Matt & Phoebe will be out next, because looking at the finishing order of the teams at the detour in the Bohol leg, Jet & Yna and Roch & Eji are the first 2 (sleeveless M/F, green team(?)). AJ & Jody, Vince & Ed, and JP & Kelvin are at the back of the pack. The spoilers on the Iloilo leg show that the top 2 are (most likely) the same and the bottom 3 are (most likely) the same as well. Now, knowing that TARP Season 2 has a ton of linear and luck tasks, there's a chance for the order to stay this way. As for Matt & Phoebe, I can guess that they'll fall behind all the other teams for some reason. ???
So here are the possible scenarios:
1.) Matt & Phoebe (or Jet & Yna) were eliminated in Bohol due to some reason. ???
2.) Bohol leg was a NEL, and some leg in the future could be a 2EL. ???
3.) One of the last 3 teams could be decoys. ???
I just realized, if either Matt & Phoebe or Jet & Yna gets eliminated in 6th, TARPh will have a new curse: The 6th place curse. Last season, a (potentially) strong team was eliminated in 6th. So if that happens... :stare

It's funny that TV5 is showing the 'Finish Line' shot again at their commercials, the "Happy Primetime Weekdays" thing, but I'm trying to find the video online but it isn't there. :lol: Jet & Yna were positioned at the back so does it mean they're eliminated early or something. We don't know. Maybe after tonight's episode, we'll have a clear view about who's going home next.
I don't think M/P bickering in the taxi is their downfall. :lol:

I think Vince & Ed are the eliminated before the CDO leg based on their activity on Twitter. They reactivated their old accounts and created new Twitter and Instagram accounts on September 11, 2014. CDO leg is filmed on September 12.

All because Jet misread it as the strongest team instead of the unluckiest team, which he placed it as Matt and Phoebe :funny: that mistake is definitely a good candidate for an future all star comeback plus they were in the top 3 without a leg win until their elimination in the penultimate leg. There is certainly a difference between the words pinakamalakas and pinakamalas :funny:
