This thread is for the weekly discussion of the show!
Hopefully some of you from Aus and NZ can update LIVE.
To protect those of us who may not be able to watch right away, ANY SPOILERS ESPECIALLY RE ELIMINATIONS should only be discussed in this thread and the weekly EPISODE threads!
NO SPOILERS in the contestant threads please! Put Elimination Interviews here for now.

According to the EPG we are expecting a 8:45 start. So I guess we will see you then.

Mine's got 8:44-9:53pm so slightly over an hour again!
Although last week it was listed for 8:47 and started closer to 8:50 or 8:51 so we'll see how that goes.
I may be a couple minutes late for the updates tonight (no more than 5) as I'm watching the NRL and that should finish at around 8:50 but I will be here on time if the game is not close. :tup:

Here we go!
An 8:47pm start (almost) so the trend seems to be 3-4 minutes after the listed time.
Previously teams had to stomach their worst fears!
Alliances were formed and broken!
While John & Murray made no friends.
It wasn't smooth sailing for Team Australia as the second Aussie team was sent home.
Plus an upset at the Pit Stop saw Kiwis Emily & Jono take first place!
5 NZ, 3 Aus remain. Who will be eliminated next?

Daniel & Ryan depart first at 9:37am due to 30-min advantage.
Travel into Thailand. Travel on land, cross the border on foot.

Emily & Jono start at 9:43, J/M at 9:45.
The first three teams take a taxi and are heading on.
John & Murray talk about being competitive. They need to give NZ away. "Definitely need to give it to a NZ team."
Daniel: There's a bit of a NZ alliance going, we think the boys want us out.
They talk about alliance between the 3 Aus teams left.
Sally/Tyson and Cat/Jesse leave at 10:02 and 10:06am respectively.

A/C talk about needing to continue to communicate well.
And if it doesn't work out, they both have other friends anyway. :lol:
Ashleigh & Jarrod are excited to go to Thailand.

The leading teams are crossing the Thai Border on foot.
Sheer craziness at the border with loads of cars and stuff.
Teams need to take a bus from the other side of the border into Bangkok.
Emily & Jono and Daniel & Ryan take the first bus.
John & Murray realise that they need to go to another bus station and do not get on the bus with the first two? :duno: Let's see what that's all about...

John & Murray and Sally & Tyson take the second bus arriving at 7pm apparently.
Ash/Jarrod, Cat/Jesse, Aston/Christie, Carla/Hereni are the last bus, scheduled to depart at 7:30pm.
Jarrod: Christie is definitely Ashleigh's long lost sister. I don't think I ever met anyone that speaks as much as you. :lol:
There are problems with the second bus for John & Murray and Sally & Tyson! They are checking tyres and seemingly changing a tyre. It is torn.

Emily & Jono book a first flight at 6:40am in the morning. Daniel & Ryan book the same. They don't know how many seats the flight can hold.

The second bus arrives late obviously at 7:15pm.
The third bus arrives at 7:30pm!
Sally & Tyson are third to the travel agency. John & Murray arrived fourth.
They both book the early flight.
The agency closes at 8pm, so let's see if anyone will miss out! :lol:

Carla & Hereni and Aston & Christie arrived 5th & 6th at the travel agency. They will take the second flight at 7:30am.
Ash: It's never a good feeling when you've got Aston & Christie in front of you. :lol:
Cat & Jesse arrive last and are also on the second flight.

Jono: I don't trust them (John & Murray) as far as I can throw them.
Those two teams + Sally & Tyson and Daniel & ryan are on the first flight.
ASton & Christie are arguing en route to the airport because Aston arranged an early wake-up call... ???
Christie: Everything's her fault because she's being a selfish cow.
Jarrod: If we can't beat those two we don't deserve to be here.
The second flight is scheduled to arrive 1 hour behind the first.

As such, Sally & Tyson have the lead!

The Bodybuilders get their clue first!

John & Murray's massage finishes first!
They are out! Detour! Climb Up or Drill Down?
Travel by long tail boat into the bay. Climb Up is ascending a rock wall to get a flag.
Drill Down involves drilling into coconuts to collect enough juice to fill up a line.
Emily & Jono's massage is up second. Only took 10 mins for them. Sally & Tyson finish in 3rd place!
Daniel & Ryan are still there...
Second flight lands at 8:50am!

Ashleigh & Jarrod get the first cab out despite Cat & Jesse holding a "number 1" ticket.
Carla & Hereni get the second cab. Cat & Jesse get the third one.
Aston & Christie are in last place and have left the flying behind them.
Daniel & Ryan are out of the massage.
John & Murray arrive first and they have a choice of about ten lines. John is climbing up a path. He is afraid of heigghts.
Emily & Jono are doing Coconuts.

John gets his flag and is coming down. Murray starts climbing.
Sally starts climbing also and is going up the rock face.
Ash & Jarrod arrive at the massage. Looks like each massage can only be done by one team because the other ones are crossed out. :lol:

Carla & Hereni only have to do a foot massage.

Ash & Jarrod aren't enjoying their massage - they are literally too tense. :lol: They leave 6th and both teams will Climb.
Daniel & Ryan were surprised with the U-Turn and expected themselves to be U-Turn.
Ryan: Have you seen the guy's biceps? I wouldn't want to piss him off. :lol:
Emily and Murray commence the Roadblock almost neck and neck!

There are actually a lot of golden clams underwater but not all of them contain a clue.
Emily and Murray are pissing each other off by searching the same area.
Jono is annoying John supposedly.
John: That cost you the Express Pass.

Jarrod: Let's go do coconuts.
Carla & Hereni arrive also. Ash/Jarrod see the Bodybuilders doing coconuts and are surprised they are doing coconuts until they find out about the U-Turn.

Aston & Christie stick their feet into the fish tank. The fish will eat their dead skin. :lol:
Cat & Jesse are out of the Detour in 7th place and will do the drill.

Murray has his clam!
John & Murray are in first place, but Emily also has a clue!
Travel to Koa Poda - this archipelago is the Pit Stop for Leg 3!

I remember in India last season he said something along the lines of 'You are the # team to check in' and I'm pleased that he got rid of that.

IF John pushed Jono like the preview wants us to believe,they better get a penalty until they are eliminated. Just can't stand these 2 anymore and I think I never hated a team like this.

I don't even know why? Each Leg so far, I'm watching and my heart goes in my mouth when I think there's a chance they'll be eliminated.
But if the preview is anything to go by, it looks like John's gonna get physical, which I really hope isn't the case because I don't want a reason for 100% going against them, even though I don't care for Emily & Jono. :groan:

I liked this episode a lot and lol at John and Murray wasting their U-Turn! I hope it bites them later on. I really don't like them any more and want them gone.

And i don't know what happens next , but it's better be a good penalty if things really got physical. This cannot be accepted on TAR.

I like Sally & Tyson. Honestly, I don't usually like people with those muscles but they are so sweet. Sally is excited for every thing. Every time she read the clue, she jumps and scream like a child receiving gifts.

I would think that Emily & Jono are more happy-go-lucky than Aston & Cristie. They didn't seem too happy during Leg 3.

LOVED the random border crossing to Bangkok, then flying to Krabi.
LOVED the random massage task, such a great way to really experience the local stuff! And the random timing made the task a hell lot more interesting.
LOVED the Detour, which was a choice between skill (intellectual for blowing from the top of the coconut) or brawn. Kudos to the team who actually knew the trick to drill two holes on both sides of the coconut and blow through them.
Didn't really like the Roadblock as I thought they were literally in the middle of no where. It seemed a little too easy and like a filler task. But oh well, there wasn't much choice of a task or an activity that they can do there as well.
I am extremely annoyed by Ash and Jarrod, chill dude, you guys are taking it as hard as John and Murray, who're highly annoying and full of themselves. I understand the rationale of the U-TURN used, but that was just unnecessary for them then.. but at least it helped them secure their first place I guess.
LOVED the male nurses, Cat and Jesse, the moms, the body builders and just Emily and Jono (slightly).
Aston and Christie... the more grumpy one needs to... relax and chill. But they're so cute. First one of them go on a b*tch mode and then apologized then moved on. That's kinda sweet to watch actually.
So of the 7 teams, there's only 2 that I dislike... unless they both make the Final 3, I guess I will still be enjoying the season greatly.
AND, the route is going to be Aussie NZ> Cambodia > Thailand > AFRICA > EUROPE !!! (ep 6 now)... it's just amazing and I love this route already!
