And I just want to start off squealing by saying how I love the idea of Aus v NZ from a neutral/US perspective because I love the drama that is being brought based on nationality just from the promos, and I'm really excited to see more of it when it actually airs! :hrt: :yess:

Depends on who you ask xD There is a lot of frustration for the Aussies trying to claim people or things from New Zealand as Aussie but yeah it's mostly a friendly sort of rivalry.

Sort of, but it's all fun and games, and I'm kind of annoyed that producers are making the whole rivalry thing a part of the game, but I guess they have to keep things interesting for the viewers. I'd say the rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne is on par!

I love the rivalry they've done here. In sport, there is some rivalry between Aus and NZ and between Farlap, Pavlova, Russell Crowe etc. there has been some rivalry - but it's all friendly! For me - the concept of Aussies vs. Kiwi's is really awesome!

There isn't much of a rivalry between Aussie and Kiwi teams, and they have a whole "vs." thing. Maybe there could be a special "Canada vs. USA" Season. I think it would be interesting.

Still got my fingers crossed that this will air at the same time in NZ and it's a possible test whether NZ can get good enough ratings for our own version.

Am I the only one who finds the rivalry idea to be a corny/unnecessary idea  :groan:

Just have teams from different locations (Australia / New Zealand) and let them race it out like it's a normal season.

Hoping this season will be just as great, if not better, than the first 2 seasons!
