I simply do not like CBS crossover couples. I enjoyed duos for who they were in the beginning (like Jeff & Jordan in Big Brother 11, and Ethan & Jenna from Survivor: Africa and Amazon), but I don't like it when they cross over to another CBS competition show just for the fame and more money. A lot of average joes/janes audition for TAR and these recruited former reality stars are given more royalty than them. The U.S. Virgin Islands are a new location, very beautiful and a visit to the Carribean which has not occurred since Season 7, correct me if I am wrong...so come on, that's a great first location!This

Racel LeVega, TAR 7 went to Puerto Rico and had a roadblock on the final leg before heading to Miami-Fort Lauderdale as the final city.What I meant was "why did the routers choose to visit the Virgin Islands instead of Puerto Rico?". But whatnot, I'll find the bright side of the islands for possible locations visited.

Because there is an eerie similarity between Uchenna & Joyce's and Abbie & Ryan's experiences with Frankfurt. In both of their Legs 7 and 9, they both got delayed or blocked from flights. They both got saved in Leg 7 by much bigger gaffes (In S11, it was the Jo'burg-Dar es Salaam flight spread; in S21, it was the missing passports), and both got eliminated in Leg 9 in 5th place. :)

Good point! Since the Speed Bumps have been so dumb anyway, they might as well save those couple of extra bucks and reallocate it elsewhere.
I don't know the other teams yet besides Keith & Whitney, but I in my option they are probably much more likeable than them, maybe with the exception of Shelley & Nici
I already got fed up of the country singers on her seasons, this one will be as good as them and that girl from season 15 who was afraid of the water slide. I am also wondering about their edit on the show, because in survivor I think they got utr1 in almost all of the episodes before being voted in the beginning of the merge :funny:

I love the route too! I predicted Morocco as the first destination but they decided to go in the middle of the race which is still fine to me. I am not sure though where in Asia they are going in this period of the year. I would love to see the Philippines but I don't think they will go there this season.

About Italy, I just think about a fun navigation task in Venice. Just require the team to find the way thoughout Venice on foot. They are not allowed to use map or ask someone guide them in person but they can ask people about the direction.I don't HATE the firefighters, I just want Amy & Maya to beat them!
Last time I was in Venice and finging the way from the centre back to the train station without the map is very challenging.
Anyway, I hope the firefighters are still there. I don't know why people hate them (alpha males?) but I feel they will be gentlemen.

If there's no Asia, no South America and 5 legs in Western Europe so far I really don't consider this diverse. Right now we're sitting on roughly 10,000 miles and it's at least leg 8... this route is awful, for a race around the world they haven't gone very far.
The locations are nice, but there is definitely not the best variety of locations across the entire globe we're seeing here. And I honestly think the European legs are some of the less challenging ones out there... nothing is as exciting as seeing racers run through Asia or Africa imo. While I love this route, that is why I hate westward routes. Asia is so much better for the 2nd half of the season, makes the race harder and more competitive.
I think England/Scotland, Denmark/Sweden, Italy/Malta are very diverse regions
Don't forget Morocco...Africa. And love the popping up in Malta. And the last few legs can still be amazing!!

EXACTLY. Most of the iconic legs in the past seasons, (Leg 6 on TAR24, Leg 9 on TAR23, Vietnam on TAR22) have purely been in Asia. Asia, as much as there are horrible legs (China 1-2 on TAR24, China on TAR21, Indo 1-2 in TAR21, etc.), have also simply amazing legs that purely immerse the teams into the culture. Europe, while a great continent, is no where near as fun as seeing teams in Asia. I mean, this TAR25 route is okay, don't get me wrong, but I would have really loved them to be in Asia by now.

I don't know why are you assuming seasonal weather has something to do with it. In TAR24 they visited Chile in the middle of winter and no one noticed. South America (even the southern cone) are not discarded by this.

Finale memory task: Guess the amount of TAR seasons that have been to LA. All three teams guess that all the seasons have been to LA, but they get shocked that a few seasons didn't go there and spend hours figuring out which ones
A picture of Keith & Whitney in Marrakesh, Morocco showed it was night, but teams were there in the day, so the leg might have just ran for too long.
Sightings in Malta indicate teams were in the streets at around 1 in the morning, but they could have been stopped by HoO at anywhere.
So far I think those are our possible night legs.

Besides, I think TAR has visited every tourist and cultural hotspot available in L.A. It has to do with budget. Start and end locations require a much larger footprint and require more moving parts than regular episodes. The save a lot of money with a LA start/finish (don't have to travel and house production staff and equipment).

That random highway bridge in the start of 21 was no random bridge. It was the Colorado Street, or as it is also known as "Suicide Bridge" and it is on the National Register of Historic Places. Cool historic place.

Just because someone said there are four teams that means its true? A picture is a more valuable source and I think all of the 3 teams together being filmed are in the final 3. Have they ever filmed the last episode with an eliminated team among the finalists before?!?!?!?!

The issue with Frankfurt is never do a tight connection. Even if flights are on-time you need 90 mins minimum between flights.
