It was reported in the Israeli media that high profile contestant Pnina Rosenblum (mom and daughter team) was injured during the starting line task in Israel and was medically evacuated. That's defiantly a race first.
I haven't encountered any race reports besides that.
Are there any unidentified sightings?

Yesterday afternoon, I saw the Amazing Race Israel being filmed outside the Tate Modern on London's Southbank. There was a woman waiting around, who was dressed as a maid and standing by the river with multiple trolleys of tea. Slightly further down, there was a clue box and an all-male team standing by it.

Thank you for the welcome! I saw them at about 5pm, and they were definitely the only team in the area. I assume they were about to go over to the woman with the tea trolleys, because she looked quite bored - as though no-one had come up to her for a while.

This cast seems glorious! 14 teams, 5 F/F teams including 2 Mother/Daughter, the guy from The Young Professionals, Mother/Son team I can't take this! Hopefully this season is as amazing as it seems, and as amazing as its predecessors, HaMerotz 2 and 3 were fantastic experiences.

And above all, I hope we can somehow watch it because I can't imagine myself living without it (even though I've lived without it for 19 years and a month)

I think, for example, on Leg 1 maybe one group will go to France and the other to Italy, and the last team of each group will be eliminated. On the 2nd leg, both groups they have to go to The Netherlands, and they meet the other teams there. The last team here, will be eliminated. But they have to mesure the distance because it can't be unfair for one group...

I don't know if I explain good, my english sucks, but it's an idea. It can be cool! :P

The leg included only 7 team while next week a parallel Israeli leg (in a different location) will include the other 7 and only 12 teams will leave the country.

I think this is amazing. Adds a total new dimension. If TARI was understandable for me I think I'd rate it pretty darn high.

As for innovation they are above TARUS imo

The dentistry task, for those wondering, was all an attempt to frighten the racers. They filled out a real-looking medical questionnaire, sat down in the dentist chairs with the (possibly fake) teeth and blood next to them, watched as the very stoic nurse and dentist came in and put down scary looking tools, and had the dentists put tissues and gel in their mouths. After stewing in their nerves for a few minutes, the dentist came back out laughing and presented teams with a fake gold tooth (which they could wear over one of their real ones) and their next clue.

Shani had the best reaction, I think.

Today was not a good episode for the stereotype of dumb blondes.  :funny: Yochi & Linor dropped the key to their vehicle and spent a long time looking for it, while Roni & Yael experienced a very different kind of Switchback; about 10 years later, and they relived dieselgate by putting unleaded fuel into their diesel vehicle. It was completely broken.

-Does the location of the car junkyard look familiar to you? There was a sign at the entrance that said "TQKAP", but I don't know if that was a name for it or not.
-Where in the world is the Georgian Dance Academy? It's such a big impressive building that I'm surprised I couldn't find it...
-Do you know where the Tbilisi-Spa is?
-What about the "Olympic Reserves National Training Centre" or whatever it was called? I found an establishment in western Tbilisi that has to do with the Olympics and has a Track Field, but it might be a different place.
-Wikipedia says the Soviet-era apartments were in the Mukhiani District. Does that seem right or wrong to you?
-I couldn't find Alexander's Park either. I found a park near the Bridge of Peace, but I wasn't sure if it was right.
-I haven't tried looking for it, but I know I'm going to have no luck in finding the Dr. Ilya Stomtashvili Dental Office. If you could perhaps write our Ilya's name in the Georgian alphabet, that might help to find it.

1 Yes that location looks familiar to me just because as you can see there is a pit stop location (the church)
on the background which is on Temqa(where I live) and it looked so close i think the junkyard was there(on Temqa).
and also on Wikipedia i saw they called that side of detour "Zhrtil Shmeberbl" which is not true because host
said "Jartis chambarebeli" which means person who takes "Jarti"(old things). There are many that kind of places
in Tbilisi but Temqa looks most possible because it's suburbs.
2 on 5:21 there are girl and boy standing behind the host and there's written it's Erisioni's dance academy. they
have adress on რუსთაველის გამზ. 16, თბილისი or in english - Rustaveli ave. 16 , Tbilisi

by the way just saw episode 6 beginning and when they show woman holding a paper with doctors name on it there's an address too and it says: Agmashenebeli ave.55 and ridiculous thing is it is called "big pain" :D It is metres away from my school :( too bad I wasn't there and jokes about Shvili were good :D

I mean the pit stop location. On Wikipedia it is written as "chronicle of Georgia"  I just don't think this side of detour was held in the centre of the city. Temqa is more possible :)

There are TWO Akhalsopeli's in the immediate area surrounding Tbilisi. I want to say it's the one in the east, because that's closer to Gachiani and Rustavi, but I also think it's the one near Gori in the West because I seem to remember signs for Sukhumi and teams heading towards Gori en route to Akhalsopeli...

I think that's why Mother/Son team got lost because they went to Gori. It is more possible that they went to near Gachiani's Akhalsopeli

Agreed. I have watched all TAR USA seasons and most of the international editions. TAR Israel is outstanding as a far as intensity of the challenges and "closeness" to the racers and their emotions is concerned.

If you have not found time to watch TAR Israel Season 3 I seriously recommend it - it is considered to be one of the best TAR seasons ever produced. I carry around the episodes on my walkman. Watching/ listening to the clips is kind of uplifting  when I feel down (ok, that sounded a bit nutty :cmas51).

cultures are very nicely used in challenges e.g. first thing that comes to your mind from Sweden: massage,  blondes, ABBA and other things are in every challenge and also it is one of those shows on which teams have fun doing challenges and teams get eliminated after doing multiple challenges not just two or three and when i'm not watching it i fell like i'm missing out fun

The final task of the episode is basically kayak jousing, where the goal is to flip over the opponent's boat. Roni & Yael's boat gets flipped over, and Yael is screaming that Roni can't get out, she's stuck.

And the episode ends with the team they were with, Adi & Shay, crying.

On the other hand I have seen far too many disturbingly boring TAR episodes - e.g. racers sitting with their butt on the ground solving puzzles or "family-friendly" tasks like adult racers leading bunnies on a string hopping over small obstacles.

I am willing to give the still young TAR Israel - that tends to use more intense roadblocks with a higher difficulty level than e.g. TAR USA, making it more fun to watch for adults - a pass on experimental editing or an overdramatic spin here and there. Of course, opinions may vary ...  :cmas28.

One team member must unload all of the hay from the truck, while the other must stack them all so that they make a perfect square shape on the ground. It had to be a certain number of haybales long, wide and high.

Today's episode featured a Detour with disgusting fish and fish guts, mud volleyball from TAR15, and a much better version of pies-in-the-face from TAR14. Teams actually had to throw the pies and try to score a hit on their partner's face, rather than simply smacking it into their face while standing next to them.

NOW THEN

Finnish places are hard to spell. I have no idea where this swamp was located, because I have no idea how its name would be spelled. The best I could get from the host's pronunciation was "Bekananoka Oi". Sounds Hawaiian...

If anyone wants to help find it, remember that teams traveled from Espoo to reach it, then left for Hämeenlinna.

I also don't know where the next destination after the pies is. The host called it "Petalis", and nothing more...

Very hard to answer with the information available right now. I guess your best bet is to wait for next wednesday's episode.

The task during which Gals falls unconscious seems to be similar to season 2: one racer has to try to remain as still and unimpressed as possible and a racer from a competing team tries to provoke a reaction. The right picture shows Gal on his way down, face substantially paler than before. Maybe a blood pressure related issue ?

I think they should change the rule about forfeiting in the ducat...like trying to keep the battle going on instead of giving out clue, so they can have more footage. The team who forfeit the challenge can stay with the team who lose the battle at the last ducat, and receive the 15 minutes penalty together.

P.S. It's really unfortunate for this season. Two accidents in this season all happened in ducat challenge.

P.S.2. It's really fun to watch this hold-the-laughter challenge, but they should improve the challenge, such as setting an end/break time, else it'll be very tough for teams to execute.

Actually, ALL THREE Double-Battles this season have involved a team forfeiting. Irit & Sinae did not fight the second-last team because the mother hurt her head. And then, of course, Roni & Yael at the kayaks and now Gal & Liel here.

Previously, only a single team had ever been injured during a Double-Battle, and that's Osnat & Carmit from Season 2. However, as HRG said, the battle continued even after O&C left. It was another team who ended up with the 15-minute penalty. O&C Left alongside this team.

LEG 4:

Tom & Uriel: Uriel talked to Ala, but Vova did not like to talk to him and often spoke in his native language, so Uriel had no idea what he was saying.
Alexa & Raz: The two teams had hardly spoken two or three words to one another. Raz initially does not want to, as he thinks they're weaker.
Gal & Liel: They think Vova & Ala are strong, and also connect with them and knew they would be "forgiven"
Shay & Adi: Viewed them as more of a threat than their second choice, Yochi & Linor
Roni & Yael: Choosing them made them feel less guilty, though they didn't feel it was strategic. Also, as no-one had ever voted for them before, they were under the false impression that they would remain anonymous.

LEG 5:

Alexa & Raz: Vova & Ala voted for them on the previous leg.
Gal & Liel: They felt the least connected to them throughout the race, in direct contradiction to their previous reasoning.
Yochi & Linor: They outright state that they do not want them in the race, because they are not relatable or friendly.
Tom & Uriel: They think the two are not unpleasant and cute, nothing can be done about their decision.
Shay & Adi: No reason given.
Roni & Yael: They think the they would be fighting Vova & Ala in the bottom two, so it's "us or them".

LEG 6:

Tom & Uriel: They do not wish to open any new feuds with other teams, and so will continue to vote as such until they cannot any more.
Gal & Liel: No reason given, implying their reason has not changed since the previous leg. Voted for them under a slough of positive comments.
Roni & Yael: Noting that Vova & Ala are always on their tail, and that they are a strong team who would always defeat them in Double-Battles
Alexa & Raz: Vova & Ala voted for them on the previous leg again. Alexa also doesn't feel guilty as they're the only team they have not connected with at all.
Shay & Adi: Chosen over Yochi & Linor, with no reason given.
Yochi & Linor: They are the closest team to them at the back of the pack. (Confusing and incorrect)

LEG 8:

Alexa & Raz: No reason given, "This is the game."
Gal & Liel: No reason given, "Sorry."

Thank you for that!!! So it seems like Vova & Ala are not nice or close to the other teams, but some of the reasons they give are just dumb, for instance Gal & Liel's contradictory statements. At first i thought it was a Group A vs Group B kind of feud, with some exceptions, like Yochi & Linor and now Daniel & Meiri voting against Vova & Ala.

Anyway i hope Vova & Ala stay as long as possible!

It's not an issue of not being nice, but simply not being talkative or engaging, which I think makes it even worse.

I believe that the decision whom to vote for is really not social but actually a surviving issue.
Only the first voting is social, thereafter they tend to vote to team that are already "marked".
Every team afraid to be voted and be delayed so they vote for those with the highest chance to be picked by others.

Everyone shed a tear for Shani...  :'(

Today was the obligatory "Phone Call from Home" episode, and everyone got to talk on the phone with their relatives in Israel. Shani picks up the phone to talk to her mother and sister, but her husband isn't there. Shani's husband (And Shay's best friend) Ronen does not like cameras, so he doesn't come to the phone because it means he'll be on national TV.

Shani has been away from her husband for weeks at this point, almost an absurdly long time. But he doesn't come  to the phone, he doesn't say anything to her. Shani is absolutely heartbroken.

I can say that this is probably the saddest thing I've ever seen on TAR even after all these years. It made me want to cry too.

What??? Teams got bunched at the airport in Buenos Aires and a taxi race to the finish line in Israel??? This is like the leg design in Alaska and Hawaii on early TAR US season all over again and to me it is a  :nono2:  on TAR. I do not like the fact that the winner was determined by who is going to get the fastest taxi to the finish line like TAR24. :gaah: :tantrum

But anyway, this F3 was just like the TAR25 F3 which all of them are likeable and I'm very happy with any of them win the race.

No, no. Teams raced to the "Final Pit Stop" in Argentina, which was just a Pit Stop mat with a clue box. It told them that they had to fly back to Israel before finding out who won. But, the order that they hit the mat in Argentina was the actual finishing order. There was no airport bunching.

But yeah!! I'm just gonna come out and say that this might just be the greatest TAR season that has ever been made. Extravagent visuals and locations, wonderfully creative tasks, and an all-star cast of almost all likeable and unique characters. I was smiling from beginning to end. I only really have one complaint about it, which I'll describe below.

(Georgia) OMG, yes!! The race has never been to Georgia before, this is going to be a wonderful new experience!
(Sweden) OMG yes!! TAR Israel has yet to reach the far north of Europe and there is always tons of fun stuff to do in Sweden!
(Finland) OMG yes!! It's about damn time that the race came back to Finland, where one of the best legs ever happened previously!
(England) OMG yes!! No international version has visited the United Kingdom before, and TAR Israel is really going to improve on the previous boring London legs!
(Costa Rica) OMG yes!! TAR Israel finally has a great beach episode, plus some fun in the jungle! Cuba and Thailand can't quite compare to the beaches of Costa Rica!
(Bolivia) OMG yes!! One of the most unique countries in the Americas, this is going to be an absolute blast!
(Argentina) ....Wait, really? A third Spanish-speaking country? Okay... Perhaps you really should have gone to Montreal...

But that's the only bad thing! :D

Well I kinda agree that. I thought they are gonna bring back the infamous challenge of 5-pounds-of-meat eating challenge or heading to Ushuaia. But again, you know that's impossible to visit Montreal the North once they choose to go south to Bolivia, and you know that Brazil is impossible too since they have visited there last season.

P.S. They should chop down one Las Vegas leg to visit Montreal/Quebec City last season.

Inbal "Tzuki" Nativ from Tzuki & Huti has passed away at age 35. Over a two year period, she was diagnosed with cancer three times. She was laid to rest on Monday.
