Survivor has seen its fair share crazy and unpredictable twists to make the game even more interesting. Some we a favourite among the fans while others were pure flops. My question to everyone is: what if you could bring in your own twist in to the game?
I would like to see the game played in pre-existing teams of 2 (like TAR). 12 duos play the game as if they were 1 person. It would be interesting to see how they will use the twist to get ahead I the game.

I haven't seen BB9. I have only seen BB8 and 12 to get ready for MCBB. (I am on summer break and have no life. Don't judge me)

That would be awesome but why stop there. They could do "the ultimate battle of the reality stars" and the players play a season of BB,TAR and Survivor over the course of a year.

Ugh. The thing about Survivor is that it doesn't NEED any twists...the best Survivors have been when they casted interesting people and then just stepped back and let it go where it will. SURVIVOR in its original form doesn't need any twists...if the show fails, IMO, it will be because they messed with the concept TOO much!

I'd like a twist where there ARE no twists. 16 interesting/different people (all of whom are applicants), no HII's, maybe a tribe swap, merge at 10, Final 2 with a jury of 7

I actually do think they will do a Survivor Back To Basics very soon once they run out of ideas. With 16 new players completely and perhaps using back their VERY first location in Borneo...
NO TWISTS. But of course, Jeff doesn't tell them that there's no twists at all. Perhaps he throws them off by saying this season WILL BE very different from our past 2x seasons (except the very first)..
And each week, we have people guessing when returning players are coming, when the tribe switch is coming, when merge is coming but in fact, it doesn't happen at all and there's only a jury of 7! :lol3:

Anyone who finds the double-vote idol (or wins it in challenges) can use it in the tribal council. In this case, s/he can vote twice. Both votes can go to either the same person or two different people,

have a vote on returning castaways. so cbs puts out like 5 people and we vote for who we want. or just no returning players till Heroes vs Villains 2 (should be S30) I would love to see Cesternino return in a regular season though

That's never going to happen. Probst has said that he desipies the idea of that format. Also, "I'm a Celebrity; Get me Out of Here" failed miserably over here in the US of A.

The Double Vote seems to be rather common on online fantasy games, :lol: but it could work really well on an actual season! :hoot: :hoot:

I have one twist regarding tribe separation. Rural vs Urban. It's the only unused 'stereotype' I can think of where it's people like farmers or from the country against modern civilians or city slickers.
Twists I've experienced in online Survivor games.
1. Everyone has an idol (not totally feasible unless there is some control/limit over ot)
2. There is this sort of immunity item. It is given to a person who doesn't have one in each round until one person left doesn't have it and is eliminated. Some notes:
a. it can be obtained by finding one somewhere, being rewarded it after winning a challenge when deemed by tribe as MVP, etc..
b. if a person who has one is eliminated before the twist finishes, that person will have to give it to someone else who doesn't have one yet.
I am more interested in culture-related twists though. That's why Amazon, Pearl Islands, & China received so much positive attention. They took advantage of the super strong cultures of the Amazonians, Pirates & Chinese.

Throughout the game, there will be six bottles like the one in Cook Islands. Before the game starts, each tribe will pick two bottles. Once a tribe has to face Tribal Council, they will pick one of the two bottles to bring with them. After the voting is done, the bottle can be opened and will do 1 of the 6 following things.
1. The person voted out will get to pick another contestant to be eliminated in the same night.
2. The person voted out will be brought back in on another tribe and someone else has to be eliminated.
3. The person voted out will not be eliminated nor will anyone else. However two people will be eliminated in the next tribal council, whether or not it's the same tribe. (Tribes won't need to bring bottle if this happens)
4. The person voted out will get to compete with two other contestants (before or after bottle is read) voted out to compete to get a second chance.
5. Another person will be have to be voted out. First person voted out stays out.
6. The person voted out will become a jury member, no matter how early in the game they are.
All bottles will not apply after the merge. If any bottle is unused, then it will not go into play.
E.x. (One tribe faces council three time, another twice, and the last one once.)

Well maybe this could be used in one? Just have tribes pick 2 # between 1-6 and the results of the pick are predetermined.

Twist: There is no twist. Make people think that something's going to happen, when it's a "back to basics" season.

I think the same. Sorry, but I don't like those twists. It's so much different from "our Survivor". I prefer basics rather than all those twists. They're all pretty unfair.

I don't know it this has to be here, but I'm gonna say it. xD
For example, on Survivor US they don't allow people who is not american to apply. But then, we see Big Brother Canada and there are two "famous" persons from other countries on the show. I mean, I know production decides what they want, but why they say "if you are not american you can't compete" (the same for regular BB Canada or any other show in the world) but then they allow "famous" people from all over the world to compete?
In some spanish programmes is the same. There are a lot of "famous" people competing that they are from other countries.
It's unfair. ;(

I'd like NO twists. How about a nice normal season....
HATE Exile Island. Not the concept so much as having a winner we barely saw...
NO celebs, no crazy twists, just a regular season.
But saying that...I also don't mind a few surprises to keep the players on their toes. :grin:
And hide the Immunity Idols better and quit pointing the camera at it lol. Dead giveaway.
