Title: CBS TAR Memes
Post by: coolio on October 06, 2012, 12:07:56 PM
CBS made memes of their premiere shows. Here's the one for TAR. Not sure if there will be more, but if there are, I'll be posting them here.

It's like a picture with a funny saying to go with it. The CBS one isn't really a good example. There are some examples here http://www.memestache.com/ (http://www.memestache.com/)

I'm sorry, but that is not a meme. A meme is something (on the internet it's often a joke) that is repeated over and over again which causes it to spread. To some, something like "My ox is broken!" might be considered a meme in the TAR community, although hearing the word "meme" makes me kind of gag, so I'd rather it not be called that. Words on an image, which is this, is called an "image macro". Just my two cents.

And just for information, meme is pronounced as "meem".

CBS is calling it a meme, not me. Sorry if I offended you with my definition of a meme as well.
