WATCH OUT, Mark and Bopper gonna stressed out and switch detour... so does Nary & Jaime... :hoot:
The Bottle Dance. If all bottles are broken, it's a 2 hour penalty. Could be a killer.

What on earth is Phil on about!?!?!? First ever team to not finish a task and stay in the race!?!?!? Has he even SEEN the TAR7 Meat Roadblock!?!?!? I don't get this!!!!!
Rachel & Dave are the first team to not complete a single challenge in a leg and still stay. There was a detour before the meat roadblock.

Phil Keoghan @PhilKeoghan
Can you believe it? We have an all out race between two teams, just the way we like it! #AmazingRace
A to Q the greeter was @Fiomigliore she was great to work with and the guys loved her:) pic.twitter.com/B9khVfh1

When Phil said they are the only team not to finish a task to stay in the race isn't he wrong? Didn't like half the teams quit the meat eating road block on season 7 in Argentina??
Maybe what he meant was "didn't complete a single task and still stayed in the race".
Too early to use that Express Pass. If they were to use it, they should have used it before they even started the watermelon challenge.

That's what I thought, but he means that they are the only team not to finish ANY tasks in the whole leg and stay in the race!

Did they skip the Detour too? I didn't see it.

Do you think if Dave and Rachel hadn't used the Express Pass that they would still be in it, especially since the Twins and Vanessa/Ralph were so bad on their tasks. Just wondering what everyone else thinks? :umn:

I think that if Dave and Rachel had decided to do the Detour (without the Express Pass), they would've used the Express Pass at the Roadblock to escape the penalty.
can someone answer this question - when was the last time we had an episode as good as this?
im curious to know how good it was

The last time - I would have to say would be the Switzerland legs of TAR18.
Or maybe even the Champagne Towers, Leg 6 of TAR16!! (Going with the theme of stacking things!)

It probably was as good as the Russian legs from TAR17!
Hard to say for sure, because everyone's got their own opinion, but it probably was! ;)
Nary does the roadblock. Kerri does the roadblock.
Rachel finishes the roadblock. She bows and gives a little victory dance.
WOW. Joey finishes the roadblock in 4th.
Rachel: "THE JERSEY SHORE IS GOING TO BEAT US." :lol3: Brendon & Rachel outrun Joey & Danny. Rachel is completely out of breath and she's coughing on the mat.
Brendon & Rachel - 2nd

I think they would have survived, assuming they had been able to string the harps at a decent pace. I think they would've survived, assuming they weren't stringing harps into the night like Elliot & Andrew were doing!
But I think the Express Pass was well-played, because it was a VERY hard leg... (unlike last season's Express Pass play :res: )

Seriously, Joey and Danny (not that annoying anymore and I give them credit for being "nice" people)
The greeter was very beautiful :luvya:She was Fiorella Migliore Cavendish's Girlfriend. and beauty queen :colors :colors

When you say "Joey and Danny", do you mean Joey FITNESS and Danny? :duno:
Can anyone tell me why did Dave and Rachel not rushed to the pit-stop to check-in in fourth place since it seemed like Nary and Jaime was really like beyond their 3 seconds count at the pit-stop? I believed they could have checked-in fourth but I think Phil did not expect so many teams to check-in together and he didn't call them in!

What I really want to say: What is your problem dude?
But because this is a friendly forum, I shall rephrase myself and say, Do you have a problem with it? :)
The most it's going to cost any team (Rachel/Dave) is 2 minutes since the release times typically space teams out by 1 minute each. That means that Mark and Bopper will be released at time x, Nary and Jamie at x + 1 minute and Rachel and Dave x + 2 minutes. However, if seating on flights to Europe are scarce, a 1 minute difference could be significant.

Surely a one minute difference could be made up or lost during the transport to the airport.
It would have been really interesting if that had been the elimination moment but it is probably better that it was not. I think Dave and Rachel actually made a strategic decision to skip all the tasks because their good flight gave them the luxury to do so. Hopefully they will be rested and have a better day next time.
I still don't think a team should use the Express Pass without first trying to do the task. It shouldn't be "OH, all the teams are here and we're last.... EXPRESS PASS". It defeats the purpose of the Express Pass of really skipping a hard challenge or knowing you're WAYYYYYY behind. Dave and Rachel probably freaked out seeing the other teams are there, but forgot that if they took 2 hours to complete the challenge, other teams who did the Watermelon Detour could be spending this amount of time too!
I don't think it matters a lot on next leg departure, apskip. I'm more interested in the overall average of Dave and Rachel since now, they are set 2 rankings behind when they could actually be in fourth.
I will say what several of you have been hinting at. This episode was simply the BEST episode of the Amazing Race ever. The DETOUR options were brutal and so was the ROADBLOCK. The whole episode just had an incredible appeal to it, with lots of loose threads to take up in future episodes (Rachel vs. David, Vanessa vs. Rachel).
