The first task was to find the billboard, that was like a well hidden clue box but not something that includes an action. For me that's a general route marker and the dragon boats was an active route marker.

I think the editors have a hard time telling them apart too.

I'll agree, that the task did start at the furniture shop, I was just going off the term carry and agree with you that teams did carry the beds into the trucks. But I don't think the money was part of the task, the task was to carry and transport the beds to the mat. Justin & Jennifer and Bill & Cathi did this - it's not like they completed the task incorrectly, they just failed to pay their driver which to me isn't part of carrying the beds, just a general part of the race.
