When they showed her in the premiere, it seemed apparent that she would have some sort of twist on the HGs because she looks so out of place. Oddly enough, it was only until last eppy when I saw her again, and I don't have the feeds so I don't know if she has been in the house (I could check if freedom allows me). So has she been in the house this whole time and if so, why was it only until now she's given attention? And what kind of specialties, if any, could be contained within her?

RSF, She's been in the purple room since they entered the house. From time to time the HGs would look at her but it had a "Do not disturb!" sign on it. Recently that disappeared and BB let them fiddle with the controls.
We don't know what it will say or do, hopefully it won't be another twist that changes the game but no one knows right now.

Julie did mention of a celebrity twist regarding Pandora's Box. Could Katy Perry be the guest (even though it's the fortune teller that's in question, maybe there's a connection with the box)?

I know reading an interview that AG had done about the room decorations in the house. Where the HG's call it the Purple Room AG called it the Katy Perry Room
