Since this is a non spoiler section, we'll let CBS have their fun and not reveal the identiy here. But of course, the two "mystery" guests are widely known in spoilers.

Rob Mariano (33)
Current Residence: Pensacola, Fla.
Previous Seasons: "Survivor: Marquesas," "Survivor: All-Stars" and "Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains"

Rob Mariano, more commonly know as "Boston" Rob, returns to SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND with one goal in mind: to win. "It's like I have been climbing this mountain for almost ten years now, and I'm not gonna quit until I get to the top." One of Rob's most defining characteristics is his determination. In 2000, he woke up the day of the Boston Marathon and decided to run it as an unofficial entry with absolutely no training and finished.

After growing up in Boston and graduating from Boston University, Rob met his wife, fellow castaway Amber Brkich, during "Survivor: All-Stars" and proposed to her during the live finale. Rob and Amber are happily married and living in Pensacola, Florida with their two daughters, Lucia Rose and Carina Rose.

Why will SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND be different? "I feel like I have done my best every time I played and I have always done what I said I was gonna do. I mean, I played this game three times. A lot has gone wrong every time. I’m hoping that this time I can make something go right."

I brought this over from Russell's thread, since it's about Rob:

I only vaguely recall how Rob played in his first season, in his last season he was excellent in the challenges but I felt he wasn't playing 100% but of course he will this time. This should be a fascinating Survivor for the viewers.

Rob had a handle on what was going on in his first season, but he just couldn't convince some of the others.  In fact, Vecepia, the eventual winner was one of Rob's closest allies early on.  After Rob left, she got Kathy, Pappy and Neleh to understand what was going on and they ended up the final 4.

This was a very interesting season if you ever get a chance to watch it (Marquesas, Season 4).

As long as they keep him as far from TAR as possible, Rob can be tolerable.  He's actually has become more tolerable over his three prior seasons, especially HvV.

But four times? And add two TAR editions to that, and he's been on our TV's for more than three network years out of the last nine. (You have to add the wedding, as if the Bachelor franchise doing that isn't enough.) It's too much.

But I no longer hate him the most. Russell has earned that distinction.

On the plus side, he can go into the record books for the most failed attempts to win $1 million on reality TV shows.

God, are you two mindreaders or something? I don't care how far Rob lasts, but I want him to finish ahead of Russell.

Wanted to edit to... Sound less biased.
