Does anybody know any spoilers for Top Chef Canada? All we know so far is that it's being filmed in Toronto, it's airing in "spring 2011" and that Mark Mcewan in the head judge and Thea Andrews is the host.
I'm thinking that they should be finishing filming pretty soon if it's airing in the spring. I wondered if they did anything with Gordon Ramsay when he was here? Or potentially had a challenge at the EX way back when. Does anybody out there have any more information??

There is very little public information on Top Chef Canada other than the host (Thea Brown as you reported) and head judge (Mark McEwan as you reported), the premiere date of spring 2011 and the fact that it will be televised on Food Channel - Canada and not BRAVO as might have been expected for a real Top Chef program. Just got word today that Top Chef Canada will be airing starting April 11th, exclusively on Food Network Canada, with Thea Andrews as Host and Mark McEwan as head judge. Can't wait!

The contestants will be competing for a grand prize of $100,000.
The cooking will be done on GE Monogram appliances and the shopping will be done at Loblaws.
This is most interesting, I thought they would shop at whole foods like they do on the U.S. version, or maybe Pusateris.

Haha finally us Canadians get a break and aren't restricted from watching this show online, it's not blacked out like some American shows are.
So the list of contestants came out the other day, as well as the announcement of the other resident Judge, Shereen Arazm.

So now we know the contestants, the prizes, the shopping store (Loblaws), the head judge (Mark McEwan) and the host (Thea Andrews). I Can't wait for this show! April 11th, 9pm it premieres.

Does anyone know of any spoilers about the upcoming 4th season of Top Chef Canada? I know a friend who's a sous-chef at a restaurant and he said they came through there so they've already started if not finished filming already for sure.
