I like that route, it covers just about everywhere you would want it to. I would only suggest maybe Japan instead of India and the possibility of doing it backwards (westbound).

I still want Antarctica.

I still want Antarctica.

It doesn't exactly fit their model of in and out in one or two days. It's also quite expensive to transport that many people down there, if it is even possible. I guess we can dream though.

I'm not good with the whole leg by leg thing because I'm pretty sure I'd be adding countries that would be unsafe... But someone needs to go to Canada. I know they went there in the family edition, but besides that? Don't remember if they ever went there in a regular/All-Star edition. Anywhere would be fine.

Antarctica would be really nice.

I would hope for Portugal as well, they never really had a full leg there long overdue. What is your entire dream route?

In TAR3, Leg 4, teams left the pit stop at Stonehaven and went to Aberdeen. They flew from Aberdeen to Porto, Portugal for detour and roadblock then a pit stop at the Torre de Belem. This was famous for the elimination of the Harvard lawyers, Heather and Eve, due to their inability to comprehend the clue to "walk" to the pit stop from the roadblock. I do believe that constitutes a full leg in Portugal. The next leg was the infamous "dieselgate" leg where they drove the length of the country into Spain to catch the ferry to Morrocco.

I would still like to see them go to Lisboa for a leg.

Leg 1: Philadelphia, U.S.A. to Madrid, Spain (12th elim)
Leg 2: Madrid to the Basque Region, Spain (11th elim)
Leg 3: Basque, Spain to Belgium (Brussels P.S.) (10th elim)
Leg 4: Brussels, Belgium to Yaounde, Cameroon (9th elim)
Leg 5: Yaounde, Cameroon to Sofia, Bulgaria (8th elim)
Leg 6: Sofia, Bulgaria to Istanbul to Ankara/Cappadocia, Turkey (7th elim/DL leg)
Leg 7: Ankara, Turkey to Bangalore, India (6th elim)
Leg 8: Bangalore, India to Melbourne, Australia (5th elim)
Leg 9: Melbourne, Australia to Chengdu, China (NEL-4th)
Leg 10: Chengdu, China (4th elim)
Leg 11: Chengdu, China to Vancouver, Canada (NEL-3rd)
Leg 12: Vancouver, Canada to Seattle, U.S.A. (Finale)

i put 12 teams, 13 legs (tehcnically), and 3 new countries, because I'm assuming that they'll make the "All Stars" Season bigger than the recent trend
and i've always wanted to see what a final 3 NEL would look like with the most recent penalty...

I have played up the theme of rigorous journey in this route I made. I also put up legs that are set in different terrains: snow, forest, high-altitude, bustling city, desert, and tropical.

Assuming 11 All-Star teams in a race of 12 legs.

NOTE: I have set the NELs at the early part of the race. Remember: these are All-Star teams (or former teams), and more screentime will redeem them from rotting.

Leg 1 (USA -> Russia)
Teams will have to fly to Vladivostok, Russia. I chose Vladivostok because it's like a secret haven inside Russia. And it's also good to see the Eastern side of the Russian country.
Elimination Leg

Leg 2 (Russia -> China)
Teams will have to ride the Trans-Siberian railway and then another train to a city in China. I would like to see a forested or nature-y place in China, not like the cities such as Shanghai and Beijing. I want to see like Guilin. China = Love.
Non-Elimination Leg

Leg 3 (China)
Teams will have to ride another train, and a bus to the roof of the world: Lhasa, Tibet. A pitstop in the gorgeous Potala Palace would be a major plus. If the race can't go to Nepal, Tibet is the alternate and the altitude problems will definitely be a problem for our All-Star teams.
HD filming will capture the amazing sceneries here in Tibet.
Elimination Leg

Leg 4 (China -> India)
Teams will have to fly to any part of India, but I'd love to see the Taj Mahal, so I'm taking the teams to Agra. Enough said, it's indeed Incredible India.
Elimination Leg

Leg 5 (India -> Gabon)
Teams now fly to the Gabonese capital city: Libreville. African cities == Chaos to the teams.
Non-Elimination Leg

Leg 6 (Gabon -> Sao Tome and Principe)
Teams must then ride a ferry to the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe. I enjoyed Seychelles in Season 16, so another island nation would be awesome! What also makes this nation magical is that it can be found lying by the equator!
Elimination Leg

Leg 7 (Sao Tome and Principe -> Europe)
Time for a big city action. I don't know specifically where at this moment, but I want to see a bustling city in the European continent.
Elimination Leg

Leg 8 (Europe)
The all-star teams will then have to drive hundreds of kilometers to another location. I am still awestrucked in the infamous Dieselgate episode, so another long drive will definitely test the best of the best. I'd love this leg to be the countryside-theme-inspired, a big contrast to the bustling city we had during the previous leg
Non-Elimination Leg

Leg 9 (Europe -> Africa)
The teams will have to make their way by any means to a city located at the edge of the Sahara Desert. I think seeing different locations set in different terrains will define how amazing a race route is. And when the sun shines bright, it may be hot enough to set angry minds and exhausted bodies.

NOTE: A desert location in South America too will rock. So it's between Africa or South America with this one.
Elimination Leg

Leg 10 (South America -> Guatemala)
Teams will then fly to the Central American part of the world. A leg in the ruins of Tikal in Guatemala would be awesome.
Elimination Leg

Leg 11 (Guatemala -> Mexico)
Teams will then take a torturing bus ride to Mexico. We have seen Mexico in past, but it's way too overdue! I know, Mexico is still under the travel ban of US, but Mexico is way to big. I would like to see dancing people with maracas as greeters.
Elimination Leg

Leg 12 (Mexico -> USA)
Teams will have to fly to USA. You can send them in any part of USA, I don't care.

Sorry to tell you that some things on your fantasty route for the race sounds too off.  First, they visited Guilin on TAR14 and Agra on TAR1.  Also there is no travel ban on Mexico from the USA, it only advises people to avoid cities like Cuidad Juarez and other northern Mexican cities. Cities like Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Cabos San Lucas, and Puerto Vallerta are safe to visit.  Also traveling by bus to Lhasa sounds too risky, taking a plane would be easier and I don't think there are any ferries from Gabon to Sao Tome.

Heh. You're on the same Caribbean path I am on. :)

always think of new countries I want to see on TAR in relation to each other and how big of a logistical nightmare they are. So here's a route where I tried to cram as many new countries as possible. It's beyond fantasy, it's pure insanity but it's fun.

Departure: Miami (I want the Caribbean islands more than I want a quirky departure city and this makes it more likely due to flight availability.)

Leg 1: Miami, USA - St. Marteen, The Netherlands Antilles

Clue should be about flying to the Netherlands though and make it an actual CLUE for the teams to solve before booking the right flight so they don't end up in Amsterdam. Something like fly to the tropical part of the Kingdom, lame example but you get my drift.

Leg 2: St. Marteen - Curacao - Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad Tobago is just a short skip by air from the Netherlands Antilles so they can start the leg by island hopping to one of the other gorgeous ABCs for a task, I picked Curacao because it has direct flights to TT.

Leg 3: Trinidad and Tobago - Brasilia, Brazil.

Not a new country, but a new and quite interesting side of Brazil. There are at least three connecting flights I could find and they don't seem too horrible.

Leg 4: Brasilia, Brazil - Asuncion, Paraguay.

Finally, Paraguay!

Leg 5: Asuncion, Paraguay - Barcelona, Spain - Andorra.

Andorra is a good opportunity for "Drive yourselves" from Barcelona in some beautiful scenery and a mountain task in a microstate to boot.

Leg 6: Andorra - Brussels, Belgium

Flight connections through Perpignan, France where they can again drive themselves from Andorra, this time in even more spectacular scenery and on an even more tricky road.

Leg 7: Brussels, Belgium - Almaty, Kazakhstan

Decent connections through Istanbul. Kazakhstan is huge, exotic and offers plenty of opportunities for train traveling and mining-related punishing tasks.

Leg 8: Almaty, Kazakhstan - Turkestan, Kazakhstan
Turkestan is one of the few truly old, historical cities in this vast country, well-worth a double Kazakh leg since they're not there every year.

Leg 9: Kazakhstan - Amman, Jordan

Flight connections through Abu Dhabi. Jordan has breathtaking sights and cultural richness. Pit Stop at Petra would be unforgettable.

Leg 10: Amman, Jordan - South Africa

So much of South Africa still left to explore!

Leg 11: South Africa - Tasmania, Australia

See Brazil. Just because it's been featured a lot doesn't mean we haven't missed out on some unique parts of it.

Leg 12: Finale Megaleg Tasmania - Fiji - USA

Yeah... I know.

Leg 1 - USA to Canada
Leg 2 - Canada to United Kingdom
Leg 3 - United Kingdom
Leg 4 - France to Italy
Leg 5 - Italy
Leg 6 - Italy to India
Leg 7 - India to Australia
Leg 8 - Australia
Leg 9 - Australia to New Zealand
Leg 10 - New Zealand to Japan
Leg 11 - Japan to Russia
Leg 12 - Russia to USA

And because I have a sense of humor..

Leg 1 - USA to Libya
Leg 2 - Libya to Chad
Leg 3 - Chad to Sudan
Leg 4 - Sudan to Jordan
Leg 5 - Jordan to Somalia
Leg 6 - Somalia to Afghanistan
Leg 7 - Afghanistan to Iraq
Leg 8 - Iraq to Pakistan
Leg 9 - Pakistan to Iran
Leg 10 - Iran to North Korea
Leg 11 - North Korea
Leg 12 - North Korea to USA

Although my second fantasy route was a joke, that would be one race to watch. lol

Dude, don't take it too seriously. Like I said, it's just a rough draft. :res: Read the title of the thread you're in, please? :res:

There are ferries between Libreville to Sao Tome and Principe islands BTW. And if you've read it, I didn't say I want them to go on Guilin again: If you'll read I said I want a place like Guilin. Like Guilin =/= In Guilin. And I know Agra was visited, but the Taj Mahal was not seen (although edited out).

EDIT: Here's the current list of Travel Warnings. I don't know if this is mandatory ban, or partial ban, etc. :duno:

Quote
Travel Warnings are issued when long-term, protracted conditions that make a country dangerous or unstable lead the State Department to recommend that Americans avoid or consider the risk of travel to that country. A Travel Warning is also issued when the U.S. Government's ability to assist American citizens is constrained due to the closure of an embassy or consulate or because of a drawdown of its staff. The countries listed below meet those criteria.

You got my point about visiting Mexico, but kinda misinterpreted it a bit. Avoid the danger and go to cities that are safe, that's what I meant.

And about the Tibetan trip: yeah, I think the bus trip would be dangerous, but it would be awesome and yep, kinda off. That's the only part in this route that I think would be an impossible feat.

Well, I don't really understand what you mean. Agra was used as a pit stop and the Taj Mahal was used for a route info clue box on the next epidode. The teams left the pit stop and went to the Taj Mahal to get their clue. The Taj Mahal, in all its glory, is certainly in my DVD.

Again, following the 11-team, 12-leg format...

1. San Diego, USA -> Copenhagen, Denmark
2. Copenhagen, Denmark -> Varna, Bulgaria
3. Varna, Bulgaria -> Sochi, Russia (boat across the Black Sea?)
4. Sochi, Russia -> Vladivostok, Russia
5. Vladivostok, Russia -> Majuro, Marshall Islands

I don't have an overall fantasy route, but there are a couple of places I want TAR 18 to go:

First is the Amazon rainforest in Brazil.  It's a really fascinating place, and it's vital for biodiversity and avoiding global warming.  Second, I want the teams to end the race in Philadelphia.  It's near where I live, and I'd love to see them near my backyard.

Too bad Small Town, CT is too far away for their plans, or else I'd ask that a third task like that is set up in front of my place. ;)

I live only a ferry and a bus away from Lisbon... So they could easily come here :P

I'm hoping Australia gets visited this time around. The last visit was in TAR 9, so I think Australia is overdue. I'm hoping for an east coast visit, with either Melbourne or Sydney hosting a leg.

Portugal and South Africa also seem overdue to me, I'd like to see TAR18 have a leg in both of them. Africa in general has been pretty sparse since season 12, so hopefully we get two or more legs there too.

New countries I would like to see would be Belgium, Denmark, Bulgaria, Colombia or Laos.

this is more spec than fantasy, but whatevs

i believe they are heading to South America first, since the race (for the most part) goes there every other season (2-3 legs)
(S2, S5, S7, S9, S11, S13, S16, S18?)

from there I believe they'll head in a westernly route, likely stopping somewhere in Australia/that general vacinity (1 leg...maybe 2)

then on to SE/E Asia for 2 legs

after that either Indi/Middle East for a couple legs at most

then East Africa and from there finish off the race in Europe before heading to the East Coast for the Finale

I'm going to have to agree with David on this one. I think the time is ripe for 6 continents.

two legs in S. America (Buenos Aires + maybe Guayaquil)
two legs in Australia (Melbourne + Tasmania)
three legs in Asia (Indonesia, which is now off the travel list, maybe Doha and Bahrain)
two legs in Africa (a return to Egypt: Cairo + Alexandria)
two legs in Europe (possibly Spain, you can take one of the Asia legs and put it here)
finale

If they hit Antarctica, then there'd be 1 leg in S. America.

It sure has been a while since they were last in Australia (season 9, 2005) and I guess all-stars for season 18 makes sense since it will be the 10 year anniversary of the show.

I'm trying to speculate about future locations after Australia. It would make sense if the teams go to western Australia and hit the outback since it's never been featured on the show. This is all speculation, but from Australia they could go to Bali in Indonesia which is a country the show has never been to before. From Indonesia they could fly to northern Thailand which has not been on the show yet, or even Laos. From South East Asia they could fly to the Maldives or Sri Lanka, but since that's such a short distance, it could be somewhere in the Middle East instead and then Africa.

Antarctica would be a good inclusion to make this anniversary edition epic.

weihen: I had also thought about Nepal, but this time of the year, it would get pretty cold, so I don't know if they'd do it.

Agreed, Peach.

If not seven continents, then at least 6. I would love for them to go to Bhutan, but they issue less than 500 (or maybe 5,000, but I think it's 500) tourist visas each year, so that would be a harder one. It would also be cool if they went to Brazil and did something on/in the amazon river.

Only 3 new countries were visited, Ecuador, Mozambique, and Poland
However; areas of previous visited countries were new. (The Island of Zanzibar for Tanzania, the nearby area of Macau which is right hear Hong Kong which is part of China; and the US territory of Guam)

Leg 6 - Netherlands - Venuzuela - Panama for pit stop (or other Central American country for task + Pit Stop)
Leg 7 - Panama - Argentina

with now 4 (possibly) 5 legs (yes, i do count a TBC as a leg) here is my route:

Leg 1: L.A., U.S.A. to Sydney, Australia (TBC - 11 teams)
Leg 2: Sydney to Broken Hill, Australia (EL - 11teams)
Leg 3: Broken Hill, Australia to Tokyo(?), Japan (EL - 10 teams)
Leg 4: Tokyo, Japan to Lijiang, China (EL - 9 teams)
Leg 5: Lijiang, China to Vientiane, Laos (EL - 8 teams)
Leg 6: Vientiane, Laos to Chiang Mai, Thailand (NEL - 7 teams)
Leg 7: Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Thailand (EL - 7 teams)
Leg 8: Bangkok, Thailand to Doha, Qatar (NEL - 6 teams)
Leg 9: Doha, Qatar to Nairobi, Kenya (EL - 6teams)
Leg 10: Nairobi, Kenya to Sofia, Bulgaria (EL - 5 teams)
Leg 11: Sofia, Bulgaria to Rome, Italy (NEL - 4 teams)
Leg 12: Rome, Italy (EL - 4 teams)
Leg 13: Rome, Italy to Philadelphia, U.S.A. (Finale)

5 continents, and it follows the 2 legs in 3 countries, and penultimate city double leg trends of late (save S17)

Considering that they're currently in China, if they were off to a new destination next, my guess would be Laos or Maldives. Since India had been visited so frequently in the past and it's been a while since they've been back, perhaps India is next.

Leg 4: Tokyo or Yokohama , Japan
Leg 5 (double leg): Tokyo or Yokohama, Japan to Lijiang, China to Kunming, China

Leg 7: Nepal or Maldives to Truva (aka the legendary city of Troy), Turkey
Leg 8: Truva, Turkey to Greece
Leg 9: Greece to Brussels, Belgium

Topaz why will this stop the race from visitng?

Ignore it. The race had been planned months ago, and the logo-controversy (which is very shallow BTW) is just a week old. It won't affect it by any means.

They could always change their plans 9Season 8 producers cancelled a leg in belize and moved it to Utah.)

Yup, but what I really mean is that a simple mistake like that won't alter anything. It's not a hurricane, it's not a calamity either: it's just the stupidity of the government. No one was affected, it was just a controversy.

But still, I don't think they'll visit here.

Let's see

Leg 1 : Wyoming (USA) ---> Dominican Republic
Leg 2 : Dominican Republic ---> Greenland
Leg 3: Greenland ---> Egypt
Leg 4 : Egypt ---> Saudi Arabia (Mecca)
Leg 5: Mecca ---> Italy (Rome)
Leg 6: Italy ---> Israel (Tel Aviv)
Leg 7: Israel ---> Indonesia
Leg 8: Indonesia ---> Burma
Leg 9: Burma ---> North Korea
Leg 10: North Korea ---> New Zealand
Leg 11: New Zealand ---> Ohio

Pretty exotic isn't it? No linear leg available (staying in one country for extended time)

Jordan is probably too dangerous.

with now 4 (possibly) 5 legs (yes, i do count a TBC as a leg) here is my route:

Leg 1: L.A., U.S.A. to Sydney, Australia (TBC - 11 teams)
Leg 2: Sydney to Broken Hill, Australia (EL - 11teams)
Leg 3: Broken Hill, Australia to Tokyo(?), Japan (EL - 10 teams)
Leg 4: Tokyo, Japan to Lijiang, China (EL - 9 teams)
Leg 5: Lijiang, China to Vientiane, Laos (EL - 8 teams)
Leg 6: Vientiane, Laos to Chiang Mai, Thailand (NEL - 7 teams)
Leg 7: Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Thailand (EL - 7 teams)
Leg 8: Bangkok, Thailand to Doha, Qatar (NEL - 6 teams)
Leg 9: Doha, Qatar to Nairobi, Kenya (EL - 6teams)
Leg 10: Nairobi, Kenya to Sofia, Bulgaria (EL - 5 teams)
Leg 11: Sofia, Bulgaria to Rome, Italy (NEL - 4 teams)
Leg 12: Rome, Italy (EL - 4 teams)
Leg 13: Rome, Italy to Philadelphia, U.S.A. (Finale)

5 continents, and it follows the 2 legs in 3 countries, and penultimate city double leg trends of late (save S17)

the Philippine leg of TARA4 in TAR would be so great!!..

So sad to hear that the Philippines would not be visited in the next season :'( ...

Hey, RFF people (especially those Filipino people here). I'd like to recommend this leg to the TAR management. Can you evaluate this?

Detour:High and Dry or Low and Wet
High and Dry: Similar to TARA4 task in Australia where they ride this very high ride and spot a man holding a placard revealing the next destination. Once they've spotted it, they will receive their next clue.
Low and Wet: Teams must ride "Rio Grande Rapids" ride. Once in there, they must look for letters spelling the surname of the national hero RIZAL. Once they've known the word, they will receive their next clue.
*If they fail to do either task, they must repeat it until they succeed.
Roadblock: They must do the task similar to TAR 10's Leg 9 where the teams rapelled down face first. They will do it on UPLB's Carillon Tower.

Just hoping that TAR would visit the Philippines again soon.

I like this route, because a specific destination is included

And I have come up with another route for the Race with the destinations already confirmed.

Leg 1- USA (Los Angeles) -Australia (Sydney-Broken Hill)
Leg 2- Australia- Japan (Yokohama)
Leg 3- Japan-China (Lianjing)
Leg 4- China (Kunming)
Leg 5- China- India (Kolkata)
Leg 6- India-Mauritius
Leg 7 - Mauritus-France (Paris)
Leg 8- France-Denmark (Copenhagen)
Leg 9- Denmark-Slovakia (Bratislava)
Leg 10- Slovakia-Brazil (Brasillia)
Leg 11- Brazil (Rio De Janiero)
Leg 12- Brazil - USA (Atlanta) :-[

It would be interesting to see them go from Europe to South America before returning to the states. Or perahps they could go to another North American country before returning to the staes, like they did in TAR 7 when they went to Jamaica.

Also, given the whole '5 continents' edict, we either go to Africa or SA soon. Might I recommend Angola? Surprisingly well connected, but still rough around the edges from a travel perspective.

Prophet, burundi will likely never be visited. Benin will happen sooner or later as well as Cape Verde

Why do you think these countries will never be visited?

All I can tell is that it looks like a prototypical route that anyone could come up with. However that does not prove it right or wrong.
At least the creator avoided obvious mess ups by including the correct number of legs and a basic choice of countries. It is not an obvious fake anyway.

I will say that I like the route, but I don't think the production team would come up with a route so far in advance. TAR19 in all likelihood won't even be filmed until next May, so while they must have done some scouting for the race, I doubt they would have a concrete route yet. In addition, since TAR19 would be filmed in the summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I doubt that they would film so many legs in the Southern Hemisphere during their coldest months of the year, especially leg 1 to Buenos Aires (yes, I'm assuming that TAR19 will be eastward).

Remember that someone posted on Wikipedia that a TAR producer left the TAR17 route behind in a restaurant on a napkin, which included a leg 1 drive from Seattle to Vancouver, double legs in Hungary and Australia (by which I mean two legs in that country, not TBC legs), and another visit to Dubai. None of it ended up being true. We can't really jump to any conclusions about TAR19 so soon; we haven't even seen TAR18 yet! :)

Keep in mind that the way the route is planned now, they create options for every leg, in case of any unanticipated problems. The impression I have (oddly from, the Camp Casey spoilers which took three Races to come through), that WRP doesn't settle on one Race course well in advance. That would be consistent with the process by which they submit visa applications for more countries than are visited, and so forth.

The other problem with that map is very simple.  I seriously doubt they are going to return to the Boston area for a second start line out of three cycles. There are other places east of the Mississippi that have never even been visited for a start or finish and which also have some good and varied international connections. FWIW, YMMV.

The only thing I can say with over 50% confidence is that we'll have a race visiting the traditional 4 continents: Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Fine by me, because imo the best races (at least the ones with interesting routes) have generally been the 4 continent ones (1, 3, 6, 10, 12, 17).

How do you not know there are not a couple of countries with two legs.......you dont.....but you missed my point. Try to figure out how you would get from Paraquay to Angola to Denmark.....

If you were a race planner for WRP....you would be fired for proposing that route.

It may be a fake, but there may be twelve legs if one counts the Canada stop and allows for two legs in the same country somewhere. However; the writers usually stay in two countries twice.

First and foremost.....WRP is a commerical, money makng enterprise.....routes have to be practical.

So far a little exercise, while the forum is slow.....go to Travelocity.com or any booking site you want and try to book that part of the race from Paraguay to Denmark. See where you actually go and how much it costs for ONE person.....then think of how many people WRP is paying for .......it will be an eyeopener.

Belgrade Asuncion to Luanda to Cairo (though it could be Alexandria) to Belgrade to Copenhagen...........just see where all you would have to fly to do that.

Paraguay to Angola. There is however no flights between the cities. Although I don't believe this route I like the route because they would be visitng new countries.

Then Cairo to Belgrade then Belgrade to Cairo is about the third of the cost from France-Seychelles or Tanzania-Poland.

For TAR 16, I suspect greatly that the leg in the Seychelles was at least partly financed on the Seychelles' end. Moreover, the Seychelles are fairly well connected to Asia, which provides a good way to get a fifth continent without going all the way to Oceania.

With the TAR 12 example, they already saved a good deal of money by eliminating two legs (plus having the two Burkina legs in the same area), thus, they could afford the flight frenzy to Lithuania.

With the TAR 11 example, they were far more likely to spend money to get an "All-Star" race (ie elegant lunches in salt mines, all the rented vehicles, the various intra-South American flights).

Reminder: CBS hasn't even made an official announcement regarding TAR19 and 20 yet!

Even more reason not to believe this guy!
However, they are doing casting calls for 19 as we speak.

It's one thing to post fantasy routes; that's what this thread is about. But it's another thing to post routes and try to pass them off as being official.

(On the other hand, I'm applying for TAR21, so thanks for the heads-up! )

I like the end city for this one...I've always thought Mackinaw Island would be a great ending.
Imagine the racers surprise when they take the ferry over to find that no motor vehicles are allowed- you walk, ride a bike or hire a horse & buggy.
Think of the tasks they could do....scooping horse poop (it is a real important job on an island that relies on horses so much) versus riding a tandem bike around the entire island.
Maybe they could even get the Mackinaw Bridge Authority to allow them to a height task, like having to paint some of the cables on the bridge or change a light bulb. For those that aren't aware, the Mackinaw Bridge is 5 miles long, connecting the lower & upper peninsulas of the state.
Of course the final spot would be Phil standing on the massive front porch of The Grand Hotel, waiting for the racers to arrive- its the hotel featured in Somewhere in Time.

Well, even without knowing this, I took an ordinary TAR route map, and copied the grey colour to every single country. Then, you erase the line and it's completely in blank. This is way beter, however,

Great find, Caelestor!

I was wondering the same thing!

I use this website called gunn.co.nz/maps/ and i go to the second tab, check the countries I want to use and pick the color on the next tab (it will be colored in). Then I save it as a JPG and use the Paint app on your computer to make the lines!
