I have official word as to why there was no speed bump, and here is the quote that I have:
"There was a production glitch during last week’s leg that lead to numerous time delays for several of the racers, and in the interest of fairness, the producers decided at the end of last week’s leg that Nick & Vicki would not have to perform a speed bump for this week’s episode. We take fairness very seriously on the show, so that’s why they had to make that decision, once they realized there was a production glitch, we are going to start with no speed bump for [Nick & Vicki]."
Thanks to all those who helped me clear that up!

Thanks Rob!! That explains a lot!

Much appreciated. Thought I could have used this info last night. Lost too much sleep over it. :) :lol3:

I'm not surprised.

I heard so too, and that it was because the Russian guy at the theatre said "..not correct" to Nick and Vick when they evidentually had sorted out the piano sheets correctly. That "njet" failure caused them to move on to the cinema, a waste of time..

Thanks Rob for the clear-up! :hearts:

I wonder if this also occurred to any of the other teams, as it might be a reason to not give time of release the next day besides just editing.
Thanks Rob for the message I read it else where but if I don't read it here I take it with a huge ass grain of salt.

Hmmm, Jill and Thomas, Brook and Claire, and Michael and Kevin's departure time were shown, right? While all others just sporadically popping on their way to Avtovo Circus. The three teams above were the only groups of people who did not try the Classical Music detour option, while Nat and Kat, Nick and Vicki, Gary and Mallory, and Chad and Stephanie did. Maybe it's indeed that side of the detour were the production faulty.
