Amber may have played a little clueless....but she was smart enought to get in an alliance that was strong enought to get to merge.   She actually did well in the challenges....several individual immunites she was close.

Plus she knew it was a game and did not have hurt feelings about being booted.  Plus she went for the money...but did not feel the need to strip for the money.  Yes she did stuff magazine but she still had clothes on.

And she had a lot to prove on all stars and I think she proved....she could hang witht he big dawgs...and still be helpful in the challenges.  she did nto try to be UTR like sooo many of the allstars.

i agree Texan.  i think she deserved it, she played well.  i think she did show that she was a Survivor.

I just think that there were a lot of people who played better their first game, and did not ride coattails as much as Amber. Amber is cool but I think there were a few better choices they could  have made, that would have probably said yes. examples:

Heidi - she did strip but she played a good game and was athletic

Tammy - she was kind of evil but a good player

Kelly Goldsmith - she just got screwed by Brandon, she was very interesting

Teresa - she knew how to play the game

Thats just my thoughts though everyone has their own opinion

I agree with your pick at being interesting....but we do not know if they turned it down or not.  Plus rumor was that MB wanted a certain age and look

I read an article that said the reason Amber was selected is because "they wanted more cute girls" And they only had Jenna M so they picked Amber also.

Wat about Jerri?

Wat about Jerri?

Oh, my.  Jerri's now like 34, she is out of the "cute" stage.  If she was ever in it.  I think Amber and Jenna fit the "20 something" demographic, needed to obtain the infamous 18 -34 yr old male demographics need to sell advertising.

Snickers

Wat about Tom? Hes awesome and he sells stuff.

I'm just saying that the only reason they create these shows is to make money. To make money they need to sell air time.  The better the ratings the more they can up their ad rates.  The more money they make.
what group of people is most influenced, by ads? Males 18 to 34.  What do they like to see on television.  Well, I'm pretty sure, most of them don't tune into Survivor for Tom, or Rudy, or Kathy.

Besides, I think Amber did a nice job  in All Stars and Outback.  So, she ended up with a guy that acted like a jerk.  Who hasn't known a jerk or two in their lives.  At least they will have stories to tell their kids.

Edited for poor grammer.

Ya i Tune in for Rupert and Tom I dont get wat ur sayin. Theres as more 10-17 yearolds and 35+ than 18-34 yearolds.

According to demographics, 18-34 year old have the MOST money with the GREATEST need to spend it. Therefore, that is the group the advertisers aim the most. So whatever the 18-34 year olds watch, that is where the advertisers spend their money.

Although as the country ages, I believe this is changing a bit also.

Well, I don;t have any money to spend.... that is one of the most important reasons I want to get on the show.

Okay, I just dont see what Amber did in Outback to deserve a spot on all stars. And if they wanted to sell the cute thing then I think there are still better choices than Amber. But I dont think it should have been based on "cuteness" It should have been based on game-playing ability. It was Survivor All Stars not Americas next Top Model.

Actually, between the two of them Rob deserved to win more than Amber.  I don't like him but he did play the best game thruout.  He was consistent, dug his heels in & played hard.

Yeah Rob probably did deserve it, but Im still glad Amber beat him because I hate Rob M.

Amber was the best player on the all stars  :P She is my favorite player! What are all of you talking about that she was not good enough to be on it? You guys are weird!

It's cool Kittens... we all just come on here to share opinions... Amber was good or obviously she would not have won... She rode Rob's coat tails until the end... but she was one of our picks to win (some of us)

I like Amber too, she was one of my favorite Australian Outback players (I just dont think she did a whole lot to deserve to be on AS but weve gone through that already). I liked her a little less in All Stars though because of the whole teaming up with Rob M and marrying him thing. But I was so glad she won hehe she deserved to win All Stars.

I think amber deserved to be there because maybe they wanted to see how an unexpected under dog would perform. I personally thought it was done as an experiment because maybe the strongest and most cunning dont always win. Plus she added some sex appeal LOL.

Actually Puddin, I meant to say she wasn't our pick (some of us)... I would have rather someone else who worked a little harder win... I am still bitter about it....  :-\

I think they picked Amber basically because they needed someone to fill the young, cute girl role along with Jenna M. Colleen, Elisabeth, Neleh, and Heidi all said no...so I think they went on to Amber. And Kittens my head is not in my a**, I just have a different opinion than you. But yeah, the unexpected underdog thing did play out interestingly because Amber showed that you dont have to be a power player to do well.

Kitten that was very rude.  Everyone has their own opinion but you do not have to be rude because someone elses is different then yours.
