Radio1 Mention about it

Quote
New show Seven Days is "completely transparent" and an original take on reality TV, according to two of its potential stars.

Set around London's Notting Hill and broadcast once a week, the idea is to create a real life soap opera based on its 30 participants.
Two of those involved are Samantha Rowley and Laura Zilli, celebrity chef Aldo Zilli's daughter.
"There is nothing false about it," explained MTV presenter Samantha.
"There's no scripting and nothing is set up."
The characters go about their lives as normal, something that Laura says convinced her to take part.
She added: "It's a different concept and that's why I'm interested in it. We're not going into a show where we're stuck in a house."
Broad appeal

Broadcast once a week, it will feature events from the preceding seven days.
Those appearing will be the ones who've had the most interesting week.

The public can also interact with the show online, advising the characters and influencing their decisions.
Although Samantha and Laura's looks may draw some viewers in, they reckon the show has something for everyone.
"The characters are all diverse, it's not all glamorous people," said Laura.
"There are lots of different cultures. It really does represent the whole country in Notting Hill."
Being on camera is now relatively normal, say the girls, who explain the cast had a warm up period of a week to make sure their reactions became natural.
'A worthwhile risk'

While the originality of the concept drew them in, they still admit being worried about getting stereotyped as reality TV wannabees.
"Yeah, 150%. That was the first thing when I was trying to make a decision," said Samantha.
"There's such a stigma around reality TV stars, that they have no talent, [but] I thought it was a good risk to take."

I just hope they understand our humour - because we laugh at ourselves, and I just hope they can too

Laura says her famous dad is also slightly apprehensive but that overall he's looking forward to seeing her on the small screen.
If it turns out to be a hit the show's producers say it could run indefinitely, like a regular soap, with characters coming and going.

A second season of Seven Days may already be in the offing, according to Laura.
She said: "I think it's going to be commissioned. It's just a case of the public deciding who they want to keep."

For now though, the girls are just keeping their fingers crossed that viewers warm to the show - and to them.
"I just hope they understand our humour because we laugh at ourselves, and I just hope they can too."

well I found it to be pretty good. I think its one of them shows you either love or hate.
It should be better next week cause they had the viewers um...give suggestions/guide them (how ever you want to say) to the cast/characters last nite.
The only problem I really have about it is that its only 1hour long. I think 2hours would be better to get to know the people and such.

It is an interesting different way of "reality" tv
