Haha, guess I need to do a little explanation of that table!
This table, which sets up the schedule for both the crew and the teams, allows us to predict the existence of extra legs (for example, the second leg in Shanghai this season), or the location of these legs (for example, that an extra leg in TAR 15 - Cai Be - was geographically close to Ho Chi Minh City).
The dates in the table represent the day on which most tasks take place. For Phil, this is the day he films his stand-ups. For the teams, this is the day they do the bulk of their racing. For example, if teams arrive in Puerto Varas on the night of the 29th but the majority of the challenges take place on the 30th, the table will indicate the 30th.
The schedule of the recent races (I started paying attention in TAR 14) follows a general pattern. Phil arrives one day before the teams, spends the next day checking in the teams, and sets up the next leg on the third day while teams are held back by extended Pit Stops, by transportation schedules or by hours of operation. An example in table form:
Leg Phil Teams Comments Leg 4 1 Jan 2 Jan - Leg 5 3 Jan 4 Jan - Leg 6 5 Jan 6 Jan -
There are several notable exceptions. The first type is what I call short legs. This is when Phil films his stand-ups on the same day the racers are doing the challenges.
TAR 14: Stechelberg to Salzburg, Phuket to Bangkok, Beijing to Beijing
TAR 15: Cai Be to Ho Chi Minh City, Dubai to Dubai, Prague to Prague
I don't dare to present a rationale, but these one thing these legs have in common is the short travel distance. And as TheSchnauzers says, they are often temporally short as well, since flights are often not involved. In TAR 16, this comes in the form of Puerto Varas to Bariloche, Hamburg to France or France to France, and Shanghai to Shanghai. In fact, the legs on which Phil films his stand-ups the same day as the teams are racing are always the shortest legs, distance-wise, in their respective seasons. Short legs, at least since TAR 14, have never been back to back. In table form:
Leg Phil Teams Comments Leg 7 7 Jan 7 Jan Short leg Leg 8 8 Jan 9 Jan -
The second group of exceptions, on contrast, involves long travel legs. Sometimes Phil spends so much time travelling to the next destination he doesn't have enough daylight to work with, and so the entire schedule is pushed back. These legs often involve long multi-leg flights.
TAR 14: Bran to Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk to Jaipur
TAR 15: None, since they stuck to major cities with good airport hubs
TAR 16: Bariloche to Hamburg, France to Seychelles, Seychelles to Penang
Here, Phil flies to his destination on the 12th, while teams travel on the 13th.
Leg Phil Teams Comments Leg 9 10 Jan 11 Jan - Leg 10 13 Jan 14 Jan Long leg
The third type of exception involves the premiere and finale legs. Premieres, if flight schedules allow, often involve an overnight rest on the first day, giving Phil some wiggle room to film his stand-ups. For example, the TAR 14 premiere had teams travel to Locarno for an overnight while Phil heads directly to Interlaken for his narration, and the TAR 15 premiere had teams stay over in the magical Green Room, giving Phil some time for filming in Tokyo. This doesn't always apply, especially if the first leg takes place in South America. TAR 9 and TAR 16, in particular, had flight schedules with morning arrivals, meaning Phil has had to hustle to get his filming done. Finales are often single-day affairs. I suppose Phil has all the times to film his stand-ups after wrapping up the race formalities.
Leg Phil Teams Comments Leg 11 15 Jan 16 Jan - Leg 12 17 Jan 17 Jan Final leg
After all that... Piecing together the dates Phil and teams are sighted along the racecourse allows us to fill in the table, allowing us to figure out where the gaps are and how long production has available for legs. Confusing, but it's worked pretty well so far!
Here are the known flights:Maybe they arrived on the evening of 1 Jun,then they need to go to somewhere already closed,so they had to wait and start this leg in 2 Jun. And 2nd leg in sweden race in 3 Jun,they had a extend pitstop until 4 Jun.
Boston to London, evening 26 May
AA 108, 1940-0700 (scheduled 1915-0650)
VS 12, 2002-0726 (scheduled 1945-0720)
London to Accra, evening 28 May
VS 657, 2254-0435 (scheduled 2230-0415)
Accra to Frankfurt, evening 31 May
LH 567, 2203-0638 (scheduled 2155-0630)
...
Stockholm to St Petersburg, morning 5 Jun
SK 732, 1014-1333 (scheduled 1000-1325)
The first Stockholm sighting at Arlanda Intl was posted on the evening of 1 Jun. According to the Accra spoiler, teams arrived in Frankfurt on the morning of that same day. That's not enough for a leg and a Pit Stop, but it's way too long for a connection. Could the poster have seen the teams earlier in the day, then waited all the way until 2am to post? What could have happened here?
If so, I guess we can explain the long wait in Stockholm as one leg on the 1st, and another on the 3rd. St Petersburg would then take place on the 5th. But that also means that the two legs in Stockholm are not geographically close to each other, so that an extra day is needed for Phil to film his stand-ups...
Leg Phil Teams Comments England 27 May 27 May First leg Ghana I 28 May 29 May - Ghana II 30 May 30 May Short leg Sweden I 31 May 1 Jun - Sweden II 2 Jun 3 Jun Not same geographical area as Sweden I St Petersburg 4 Jun 5 Jun -

You may be right, but teams flying straight from Accra to Stockholm are likely to have made it into Sweden by 9.35am, and if they miss that, at 11.50am. They'd have to have travelled quite a bit to run into an Hours of Operation on the evening of 1 Jun.

I somehow doubt TAR would want to revisit Stockholm. Perhaps a train ride is in order?

Didn't the poster say he only saw a couple of teams on 6/1. Isn't it possible that both Frankfurt and Stockholm were connections at the same time to another European city, or all of the teams were on an Accra-Frankfurt-Stockholm-somewhere else flight? Also, because we have no actual sightings of teams in Stockholm (at least I don't think so), its possible that the 6/5 sighting was also a connection point (somewhere --> Stockholm --> St. Petersburg). I'm not doubting legs in Sweden, but with the race just visiting there two seasons ago, I wouldn't be surprised if the country wasn't visited again. Then again, if we do have solid sightings within the country besides the airport, I must've missed them and I take all this back.
Alternative Sweden dates...

The FIRST Arlanda sighting of teams took place on June 1, not June 2 though. .

Where can you get the information they are in Korea at 4PM today?
A 13-episode season of The Amazing Race is shot over 25 days. Filming might start at dawn and last all day until contestants and crew are on a plane to the next destination. They catch as much aerial sleep as they can, only to begin again at touchdown.
"This last season [his 17th], we did six days in a row and never even saw a hotel."

press release:
This season's cast of Racers will travel over 32,000 miles, covering four continents and 30 cities, with first-time visits to Bangladesh, Ghana and the Arctic Circle. Additionally, for the first time in the history of the Race, the Team to finish in first place during the premiere episode will be awarded a surprise, game-changing advantage.
Okay, i just read this and i figured out if Nick and Vicki were indeed spotted in Hong Kong.. i wonder how did they do it.

Maybe they got lost on the way to ES.

LOL yeah! I thought they'd be the first few teams gone. And I wonder if I saw it wrongly, but I actually thought that Connor and Jonathan would go really far, maybe fourth place. Now I'm thinking, maybe I interpreted or saw the spoilers wrongly lol. Now it looks like Connor and Jonathan are gone early? :(
I agree with weihen, although I would use the word probably instead of maybe. Any teams eliminated in the first 5 or 6 teams do not go to Elimination Station, probably because they are in Asia for a west-to-east race and they are needed at times for decoy duty.Since they raced alone, they maybe decoyed.Okay, i just read this and i figured out if Nick and Vicki were indeed spotted in Hong Kong.. i wonder how did they do it.

I have a theory as to why the teams are in Muscat for a very short time. On June 4 cyclone Phet hit Oman, killing 2 people and effecting oil and gas production. Winds near 120kph and heavy rains in Muscat.
This occurred while the teams were in Norway.
If you look at the photos in flickr for the date, you can see that there was quite a bit of flooding in Muscat. School exams were canceled for the whole week.
I speculate that there may have been some damage done to some of the infrastructure that would be needed for TAR to hold a complete leg there so TPTB had to do some rescheduling. So in one episode we get travel from St.Petersburg, maybe a single task in Muscat city, then travel to Bangladesh.
This is just speculation - trying to explain the weirdness of the sightings of teams in Muscat.
Those of us that live in hurricane country know its always the water from the storm surge and rain that lasts long time after the storm....it just doesn't drain away in 2-3 days.
Regarding Nick and Vicky's placement: In an post-elimination interview quoted below, Katie mentions that she and Rachel didn't get a chance to talk to Nick very much. I think this may be a good indication that Nick and Vicky never get to Elimination Station, and are at the very least decoys in the final legs.

Reality TV World: What did you two think of Nick in general? He seems to put up a confident front but it seems like Vicki is actually the tough one on that team. [This week] he let her do the rappelling, and then he also seemed to struggle with the bike ride after talking up his BMX experience.
Katie Seamon: We didn't really get to talk to him too much but they seemed like good people and Nick seemed like just a pretty chill guy. I understand the anger and getting mad, and Katie and I are the first ones to get frustrated to lash out at each other, so I mean I think it's just being competitive
Never know. They might very well be the F4 elimination. Well, I correctly condluded that Nick & Vicky would make at least the Final 5, so this is proof of that. If we can find out who they talked to a lot, we can find out who else got to Elimination Station.

The term "Extended Pit Stops" needs to be redefined; not a single one of the Pit Stops so far has been shorter than 15h. If we're talking about teams being held back an extra day for Phil to travel, though, we've already seen the only one on this race: Narvik (~36h).
1. The Virgin flight was supposed to arrive in Accra at 4.35am, but the flight is shown landing and the teams running out of the airport in broad daylight. All teams check in before 11.30am, though. What's up with this?...
Pit Stop at Ankenes Marina, Ankenes, Nordland, Norway (~36h)
To clarify the Ghana timeline:
28 May: Sighting has teams leaving London.
29 May: Teams arrive in Ghana and check in at Kaneshie Market.
30 May: Brooke/Claire check out at 7.34am. Teams check in at Asebi.
31 May: Teams paint the house. This is also the date on Jonathan/Connor's tickets leaving Ghana.
Is it possible for teams to paint the house in an hour, get shuttled back to the hotel to clean up and change, then have Jonathan/Connor depart at 10.15am?
Neobie,
I have been noticing the same things that you are. I think that production is playing pretty fast and loose with the stated departure times on the telecasts.
Btw.....you may want to edit above.....its the Swedish/NORWEIGAN border....not the Finnish border.
Production either told teams to get off at Uppsala and take taxis or they all found out on the train ride. Since there was only that one flight on Saturday......my guess is that it was Production's instructions.
I could see Production filming the Accra departure times, when the teams are painting the school. Then taking them back to the hotel to get ready for flight and sending off from the hotel on some kind of staggered start then. Jonathan and Connor obviously arrived at the airport before the 430 pm opening of the Lufthanza office, but I really dont think they were let go from the pit stop at 10:15 am. It just doesnt seem to give them enough time to paint the school, even if they hauled them out there at sunup.

Reposting this here as well:
Okay Houston...we have a problem.
I have been attempting to follow up with all our remaining spoiler sources.
The sighting of Chad/Stephanie in Oman (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,21997.msg527384.html#msg527384) can no longer be considered valid.
I resent the source some photos (at the time of the first contact we had only airport photos for comparison).
HE HAS KINDLY JUST REPLIED THAT HE MET JILL AND THOMAS.
This puts Chad and Stephanie back in the "not seen after" file and puts them AT RISK FOR ELIMINATION THIS WEEK BASED ON SIGHTINGS.
Sorry for any confusion...this does happen, sources do their best based on the info we have at the time, just glad we can reevaluate.QuoteNovember 7 at 6:09am

From caps 17 and 18 and their accompanying audio I think we established that Chad performs the RB if you would like to add that.
