Shania Twain to Guest-Judge American Idol?

Will country superstar Shania Twain be a guest judge on American Idol? People.com cites a source who says yes.

According to the source, Twain will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara Dio Guardi when the show begins auditions in Chicago on Aug. 30.

After Paula Abdul's surprising announcement that she would not return to the show, Fox executives announced that Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and other yet-to-be-named celebrities would serve as guest judges during the audition rounds.

A representative for the show had no comment on Twain's rumored involvement.

It seems like she will be a guest judge in one of the auditions.
