So, if the live eviction is moving (back) to Thursday, then nomination ceremony will be Friday, with Veto competition on Saturday and Veto ceremony on Sunday?

The move to Thursdays has paid off, at least for this week.

Big bump for 'Big Brother' in new slot

Aged reality series averages a 2.3 in 18-49s

CBS’s “Big Brother 10” got a big bump with its move to Thursday night, and it jumped well above the former timeslot occupant, too, after the two shows swapped time periods.

“Brother” averaged a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating last night at 8 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, up 28 percent over previous timeslot occupant “Greatest American Dog’s” 1.8 average. “Brother” improved on “Dog’s” 1.5 from last week by 53 percent.

The move also pushed “Brother” ahead of its previous 2.0 average on Wednesday nights, perhaps because it was back in the spot viewers are used to seeing it. The thrice-weekly show had aired on Thursday for years.

“Dog,” which had a decent premiere but fell off quickly thereafter, moved into its new 8 p.m. Wednesday slot last night.

Overall it was a decent night for CBS, as the network’s “Flashpoint” also seems to be growing. The Canadian-produced cop show won its timeslot in adults 18-49 and 25-54 last night and was up a bit over the previous week, when it inherited a new timeslot from the slumping drama “Swingtown.”

“Flashpoint” averaged a 1.8 in 18-49s and a 2.5 in 25-54s.

Meanwhile, Fox led the night among viewers 18-49 with a 2.3 average overnight rating and a 7 share. CBS was second at 2.0/6, NBC third at 1.7/6, Univision fourth at 1.7/5, ABC fifth at 1.3/4 and CW sixth at 0.6/2.

CBS began the night in the lead with a 2.3 at 8 p.m. for “Brother,” followed by Univision with a 1.8 for “Al Diablo con los Guapos.” NBC and Fox tied for third at 1.7, NBC for “Last Comic Standing” and Fox for “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” with ABC fifth with a 1.1 for a repeat of “Ugly Betty” and CW sixth with a 0.7 for a “Smallville” rerun.

At 9 p.m. Fox took the lead with a 2.8 for “So You Think You Can Dance,” with NBC second with a 2.2 for another hour of “Comic.” Univision and CBS tied for third at 1.8, Univision for “Fuego en la Sangre” and CBS for a repeat of “CSI,” with ABC fifth with a 1.2 for a “Grey’s Anatomy” rerun and CW sixth with a 0.6 for a repeat of “Supernatural.”

CBS regained the lead at 10 p.m. with a 1.8 for “Flashpoint,” while ABC moved to second with a 1.7 for “Hopkins.” Univision was third with a 1.5 for “La Rosa de Guadalupe” and NBC fourth with a 1.3 for “Fear Itself.”

CBS was first for the night among households with a 4.9 average overnight rating and a 9 share. Fox was second at 4.6/8, ABC and NBC tied for third at 3.0/5, Univision fifth at 2.0/4 and CW sixth at 1.1/2.
