IDOL UPDATE: American Idol viewers voted John Stevens (think Harry Connick
Jr. with red hair) and Jasmine Trias (think Mariah Carey, only Hawaiian)
into the finals last night. Next week, four wild-card contestants will be
chosen from a field of 12 hopefuls -- none of whom, I'm sad to report, is
Scooter Girl.

I am looking forward to the wildcard show cos a couple of them were ones that I liked to see on the show. There was one girl we call Jazz girl, she had short hair and had a lot of pizazz plus we liked the young girl from Seattle whose mom was a pop idol in bulgaria? I would have loved to see Scooter Girl but she really has a talent for broadway I think. I bet you that if America doesn't choose Jon Peter (pen salesman) one of the judges will bring him into the competition. He is kinda cute in a goofy way and they need more than 2 guys in the top 12 (my opinion only).
-
I really hat Jon, he can't sing...
I want the Bulgarian gorl (Leah Vladowski, I mean LaBelle), Jennifer Hudson, Lisa Leuschner, and Matt Metzger....

Welcome to the boards AmericanIdolshorty. I look forward to tomorrow nights show. Do you ever watch the Ryan Seacrest show the day after the results show? he always brings on the two newest finalist.

HE SIGNED, HE SIGNED: In a major victory for crappy singers everywhere,
American Idol misfit William Hung has officially signed a record deal with
Fuse Music Network and Koch Records. The 21-year-old Hong Kong native's
debut CD, featuring his signature tune "She Bangs" as well as a cover of
Elton John's "Rocket Man," is due in stores on April 6. The disc will also
include a 40-minute DVD with behind-the-scenes footage from his studio
recording sessions and fan questions and answers. "He may not be the next
American Idol," says Fuse president Marc Juris, "but he is definitely a star
and inspiration to everyone who sings in the shower." That noise you hear is
Simon Cowell imploding. ;D ;D
-
AND THEN THERE WERE 12: American Idol's final 12 are set following last
night's wild-card-results show, which saw the last four candidates advance
to the finals. Viewers voted in 24-year-old pen salesman Jon Peter Lewis,
Randy Jackson selected 22-year-old fashion victim Jennifer Hudson, Simon
Cowell picked 23-year-old pastor-in-waiting George Huff and Paula Abdul
chose 17-year-old tone-deaf crybaby Leah LaBelle. Next Tuesday, the entire
group will perform in a two-hour live show
