CBS Eye-lert to Tip Off Viewers to Overruns
http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/news/tvs..._id=1003614458
"There’s nothing more frustrating than tuning-in for a TV show, only to find out that the game is still on. This fall, when an NFL game runs beyond 7 p.m., CBS will attempt to lessen that annoyance with CBS Eye-lert, a new program that allows viewers to be notified via e-mail and text message when the start time of a program will be delayed. Kogs, you are making two heroic assumptions:
1. that the Amazing Race will be on before February 2008
2. that the Amazing Race will be on Sunday nights. I guess that it has about a 1/5 chance of being back there. CBS program cancellations could come on
any night of the week, with Sundays a bit more probable than the other nights.
