My guess is Hayley leaves this week. Sanjaya will come in 7th place. Have fun watching this week, I don't think I will be able to catch the episode until Wednesday, I'm going house hunting with my family. My guess with Tony Bennett is that Jordin, Lakisha and Melinda are going to be great and the rest will struggle.

Phil and Haley definitely deserve to stay for at least another 2 to 3 weeks. Sanjaya, Sanjaya, Sanjaya... Haiz.... America please vote wisely. Don't keep the worst singer in this competition please. Thank you.

Yes, I agree. Tony Bennett songs will probably be a greater challenge for most of the idols this week.

Sanjayjay has GOT to go. Although, I must admit, I am inspired by his hairstyles, and was able to TOTALLY rock the ponyhawk last week! :elvis: I think it is a new look for me. :lol3:

I am going to try some reverse psychology, and say that Sanjaya will NOT be in the bottom 3 this week. I am gonna say that perennial bottom feeders Haley and Phil wil be there. They will be joined by ................................................. LaKisha making her first trip!!!! :groan:

As Randy would say, I thought Jordin was "da bomb" last night!!! She has been tops 2 out of the last 3 weeks, and is turning this into a three horse race, along with Melinda and Blake!!!
Sanjaya was rather boring to me last night!!! But it will probably be either Haley or Phil going home unfortunately!!!

I agree with Phil and Hayley. I think it could be Phil tonight. Simon gave him the KOD (kiss of death) with his comments, saying it reminded him of a funeral parlor singer. Haley only received faint praise. She can sing though, and perhaps her future is on broadway. I thought Phil was great in the auditions, he hasn't shown that in the competition.
Lightning will strike me dead, I almost (and I do mean ALMOST) thought Sanfizzle was entertaining. He looked like a wedding cake decoration to me though. :lol3:

The word is that Nigel was on Ryan's radio show this morning and said tonight's result was a "huge shocker" and "the biggest in Idol history". The only way it would be a "shocker" is if Melinda, Jordin, Blake or Sanjaya leave. Lakisha could leave but then she would just be another Mandisa, no shocker there.

OMG! Do I want to know that a shocker is coming? My first thought is, it is BAD!
My next thought is, LaKisha is pretty low on DialIdol's prediction listing but while it would be shocking that she would lose out to the wedding decoration, she will do fine without AI. (Anyone who leaves before the wedding singer is shocking!) :umn:

When it comes to American Idol nothing really surprises me anymore but I am a bit taken aback at Sanjaya’s staying power. According to the betting odds, Sanjaya is the fourth least likely contestant to be voted off with +1000 odds. For the betting novice, that means you would win $1,000 USD on a $100 bet. The most likely to be voted off the show tonight (according to oddsmakers) is Gina Glocksen at -150 odds ($150 bet to win $100). Now that is a shocker as I have Glocksen in my top-five. Of course I base my opinion on what I perceive to be talent, something Sanjaya has very little of."

Gina has been getting better and better each week. It would be a huge shock if she is eliminated. I had her as one of the 5 finalists.
