Was just watching Animal Planet, and it was talking about Guido and Joe & Bill, and how Guido helped Joe & Bill get on the 1st season of TAR. Just thought I would share that. :lol:

I know that Joe just finished The Upright Citizens Brigade Improv class in NYC. 2 mutual friends were in the class with him and I recognized him from their class picture.

It is with great sadness that I say, that the beloved Guido that had been Joe & Bill's team namesake has passed away. :'( :'(

Oh that's really sad, almost like someone from the TAR Family has passed on! Hope Joe and Bill are coping, I know they loved that dog!

Given that Guido is the only canine to appear in the opening credits of two different seasons, he should be considered a full member of the TAR Family, and I am saddened to hear of his passing. Eleven and a half years is a good lifespan for his breed, (mini schnauzers average about the same) so I think Bill and Joe can take comfort in the fact that Guido got to do a lot of things with them, and got to do a lot of things himself, that many canines could only hope of doing.
Guido lived a long and (without any doubt in my mind) a happy life, and we can cherish the time he did spend as part of the worldwide TAR community.

I really enjoyed Joe and Bill. Both seasons! They were competitive, entertaining, and are actually the only team that I enjoyed seeing in two different races. Whereas other teams were jaded and just ho hum on their second showing on TAR. Bill and Joe were just as competitive the second time around as they were on their first. I would love to see them a third time. My condolences in their loss of Guido. I know that a dog is a child to its owners and the pain of losing a family member is truly saddening. I hope they get a new dog that needs a home. Hopefully from a shelter where so many "children" are waiting to be adopted.

Bill And Joe gave us a great gift in sharing Guido with us. As theschnauzers says, Guido is and alsways will be part of our extended TAR family.
My heart goes out to them both.
