Well Big Brother All-Stars website now has a link to the big brother application:
http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother_application/
So it looks like at least as of now the producers are accepting applications for the next installment of Big Brother. We can only hope that they do a better job of selecting the houseguests for this installment.

Oh I am so glad BB will continue. But I have to disagree, I think this BB has caused more controversy and talk than most of the other seasons I've watched. If a lot of people in the viewing audience hate people on the show and talk about them constantly (like us, lol) then BB has a huge coup. It's when no one is talking that the problems start. Cancellation, etc.
We certainly can't be accused of not talking this season. It has been edge of your seat, fingernail biting episodes the last two weeks.

:jumpy: YAY :jumpy: That means Big Brother is going to continue!!! YAYAAAAAA !!! LOL !! Big Brother is the #1 Reality Show of ALL time!!!! ;D ;D
-
It should be noted....that this does not mean that CBS has given the green light to Big Brother as of yet. Reality shows often take applications even before they are approved.
However, this does show that Arnorld & Alison, very much, want to produce a Big Brother 8! Now its up to CBS to pick up the idea!
-
I'd pick it up. :jumpy:
-
They just showed a commercial a minute ago about the search is on for the next Big Brother houseguest. Sounds like very good news.
-
I wish they'd do an All-Stars II for Survivor and BB and this time former BB contestants would be on Survivor and former Survivor contestants would be in the BB house.
-
That's actually a good idea. Hm..
-
I think it would be hilarious to watch Marcy skulking around an island in his white housecoat. There are not too many BB contestants who could deal with Survivor, but what a riot to watch, they would have to bill it as a sitcom.
-
Yeah on BB, they can go into the DR and request food....can you imagine them trying to eat one fish that someone caught, although the rice may be better than the slop.
-
That would be an interesting show, but kind of strange too!
-
i am definitly applying
-
Boy they ask a lot of personal questions, Underware Size???
I would do it!! I really want to :) But I'd be boring to watch
-
I've never seen the actual application for Big Brother, but I'm going to question the "underwear size" question upfront. Why would anyone want to know what size panties/briefs a person wears? That's downright INSANE!
-
;)

I just typed a whole bunch of stuff, and all it showed in my above post was a wink. Now how did that happen?
Okay, here goes again.
I don't remember what all I said now, but it was good. Nevermind. lol
EDIT: Okay, so it was bothering me, so I decided to go ahead and come back and finish what I was saying. lol
I think the underwear thing may be something to deter a lot of people that will get bored with insane and off the wall questions. After all, they have to weed some people out somehow. Another thing is there are a lot of comps where you have to almost be naked. Remember when the guys had to wear girl's bikinis one year? {{{shudder}}} and also the shaving cream bikini's? I guess they don't want a 400 lb person on there in a bikini or something. I don't know, sounds like they a little discrimination going on huh?

Big Brother For Sale?
September 11, 2006
European production firm Endemol is close to placing their assets for sale, with the likely purchaser to be US firm Time Warner. Big Brother, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and the hit Deal Or No Deal are just some of the franchises developed and owned by Endemol.
The secret to Endemol's success lay equally in its cutting edge shows and it's ability to effectively market internationally. Currently, Spanish telecom firm Telefonica owns controlling shares; Endemol execs are quick to point out, however, that the plan to sell out the company’s assets is emerging from the advice of their broker and there is no timetable in place.
The company, which is based in the Netherlands, is planning to begin meetings with private equity firms this week.
