Puddin, I think people are afraid of the possability.  On a regular leg, teams often get a chance to really build ups ome distance between other teams.

Basically, it's the Weavers all over again.  At least with Bama, they had the Chos and Kentucky to befriend.  The Weavers didn't have anybody.

As for the Chos being gone instead of Bama, while several could've done without Bama, at least it's official that an all-female team will make the F3 for the first time ever. Like 'em or not, it's about time!

That and for the first time 2 female teams make the final four.  Thats never happened before.

While we have had four seasons were 2 male teams have made final four (1, 2, ,4, and 9)

I'm new here but have been reading the forum for a bout 2 weeks now. It seems like the things you guys are predicting is right. I think the next leg, the BQ's are probably going to get eliminated. I think they are the ones getting yield. Either that or they become last but have to wait 30 minutes on the next leg before being eliminated.

Whats really going to be interesting is if the BQ's are on TAR11 how will they explain their absence from the Early Show & Finish line? Also will we know if its a NEL or not because we depend on the Early show for NEL's or whatever  :dknow

We're pretty sure these confessional's are Morocco

so if the Bama's confessional , in the Kentucky shirts, isn't Kiev ( waiting on the insider clips ) then its either Spain or France, a future shot.

I'm suprised no one caught this one...

Didn't anyone catch the one confessional with Rob & Kim being interviewed with that big silver round thing behind them? Could've been Barcelona...or maybe just Kiev lol.

Rob and Kim are shown with part of the World War II Memorial behind them, so it is most definitely Kiev.

Not me, the Yield should, if used properly and put in episodes where it can actually effect the race, get a team eliminated.

The reason I hated the Yield for the longest time is that it had no effect on the race.

Since its debut in season 5 where it was avialable in all but the final leg, it as only casued the elimination of one team.

Oooh--I hope not! There are only supposed to be two yields, and since Mary confirmed that there was an unaired yield on the Vietnam leg--we should be done!

I don't like the Yield because, for the most part, you live or die on TAR based on your own strengths or mistakes, or pure good/bad luck. The Yield puts you at the mercy of another team and I'd rather teams sink or swim on their own.

Well I don't like the Yield.  I thinklive or die teams should go based on their own performance.

But if its in the show.  I wish teams would actually use it well.

THough some teams have Yielding Colin & christie (brilliant) but of course didn't matter non elimination.

Both uses in season 6 were plain and stupid.

Season 7, was an okay choice of yielded Ron & Kelly, the smarter choice would have been Uchenna & Joyce who were further back and thus more likely to finish last and get eliminated.  Giving you a final with Gretchen & Meredith who ROb & Amber considered to have absolutely no chance to win.

Season 8 everyone hated the Weavers the first Yield was just because of hatred towards them, and unforunately another team got killed (damned red bean.)

The second was primarily done to make sure the Linz had a buffer between themselves and the team that was in 2cd (before stupiod side trip), they really wanted a win, badly.  The fact that it was teh Weavers was just a nice big bonus.  Of course it was a non elimination, didn't matter at all.

Season 9.  For the first time the Yield killed a team, Yeah about time.  And it was a bad team a team with an average leg performance of 7.8.  We can argue if it would have been wiser to yield Ray & Yolanda, but we aren't for sure how much info Lake and Michelle had for sure, they did know the girls were behind them.

The 2cd Yield was idiotic.  Theres four teams left.  Your running a strong race, but one team is running the best race, of any team in the history of the damn show.  So who should you Yield?  Dumb asses.  Let your petty dislike for Mojo push you to yield them.  One of the dumbest strategy moves ever in the race.  And we all know it wasn't due to the cab cancelling since the Hippies had already been told by Eric & Jeremy that they had in fact done it (they told Ray & Yolanda as well).
