Huh?

It's probably just a connection at CDG.

Ok thats what I figured , thanks

The Colonia Güell is one of the greatest legacies in architecture and town planning in Spain today. Built at the end of the 19th century, it comprises a factory area, a residential area and the Gaudí Church Crypt, one of the most representative works of Antoni Gaudí.The whole estate has been declared a Site of Historic and Artistic Interest. Its buildings are outstanding for their spaciousness, formal beauty and simple shapes and volumes.

Anyway...Iza...about the Asian M/F team, the M/M team, and the African-American F/F team...how far behind the caucasian F/F and M/F teams were they?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget only the male is asian in that team and the female is what I call my token "Lori".
I would give them a good 20 mins after the 3rd team which was the young m/m team.
The young m/m team arrived 10-15 mins after the leading couples. This 3rd team seemed to catch up some time with this roadblock but still left 3rd.

per Izabela info & k.kuwati's pictures , it looks like final 5 , maybe 6 ?(Speculation )
F/F as per video

M/F as per video and looks like same as kuwait carpark to me

M/M

M/F asian male and geeky female but not 100% sure as they were not sitting together and by geeky i mean she reminded me of lori in her stance/appearance and not playing up the the cameras as the first 3 teams. She sat on the sun bed under a tree and just waited quietly on spoke to the black female for a short time.

F/F black - personally it looked like they did not want to be there in terms of all the other teams looking so competitive.
( Lynn and Karlyn from Alabama per Charlie ? )

Where did you find it!  That may leed to its location in China.

It looks like early morning.  Maybe the first task after the hours of operation open.

Could it be the Yu Yuan Gardens, Shanghai from TAR6?    :-\

Here's the link to the photo:

http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b232/ChinaCooper/China/?action=view&current=DSCN0627.jpg

My gut says it's from an earlier season (TAR1? TAR6?), but if so, I can't figure out what team it is. Frank/Margarita were around until China in season 1, yeah? Maybe them? They definitely don't match any teams from TAR6 left by the time they reached China (Adam/Rebecca, Hayden/Aaron, Kris/John, Freddy/Kendra). So my guess is TAR1, but maybe it's new. Whatcha think?

But the camera guy?

ETA: Also, can anyone tell skin color on these guys? Their skin looks darker, but I can't tell if it's just lighting...

This was the metadata presented to my exif editor from the China picture. As for the time, maybe when people go on vacation they don't reset the camera clock.

Thanks, Slowhatch -- this one's puzzling me. With those dates, maybe it's another show? If dates/time are wrong, pic below has some suggestions. It sure looks TAR-ish, but is it TAR?

I found this elsewhere in their album.  It says Christmas 2005 when the camera date says 2005:12:24

And it was filed in Photobucket on 2006:01:31  =  January 31st, 2006.

The picture they titled The Amazing Race was filed 2005:11:10  = November 10th, 2005

I don't think it's our race.

I really do not think it has anything to do with TAR.

Can anyone teach me how to find out the posted dates? Perhaps I can ID the Chinese locations... Most of them are in Northeast China (Beijing, Great Wall, Dalian) though.

Online albums such as photobucket sometimes offer the option of reading the exif data of a photo. Click on a photo to see it full size, then look for a button such as "more properties" (flickr) or "exif data" (photobucket). As for this particular album, the author seems to be working as a costumed player at a water theme park (sunasia polar world) in the city of Dalian. And the "race" photo looks like some kind of tea ceremony.

Guys, I think we have a the final city of our race!!!!

Thanks to  Coretti    over at TWOPS

"Today @ 3:37 pm

So, uh, I think I *may* have come across racers today. I do not have actual 100% confirmation that it was TAR, but this is what I saw:

~1:15 PM, 6/24/06
49th between 6th and Rock. Center, right outside one of the NBC entrances (not that they were going in).
All female African-American team (as mentioned in that thread that was linked to on the last page)
Getting out of a cab that was from Newark (which made it stand out more from the traditional NYC cabs).
Two crew with them - one boom mic operator, one cameraman.

The girls got out of the cab and asked a local for directions - the mic operator then had to get the person to sign a release and the team looked very impatient while they were waiting.

The biggest tip-off for me was that one of the crew had a yellow "K" tag, and having just re-watched Season 7, it looked exactly like the tags that everyone has on their bags.

Again, I hope this isn't a fluke, and apologize if this was inadvertently a team on some other reality show - but given the timeline I'm reading, this might just fit."

Hopes this helps.!!!

I was just reading that charlierose , thanks for bringing it over . More reading of that thread I'd have to agree, probably decoys with the teams returning to the USA tomorrow if not the next day .

Don't think they will be going to GE building (NBC), but Radio City Music Hall & Rockefeller Plaza are close by.  Way too many people around to see them.

So that would suggest that the black F/F team is "toast".  Does that still leave one remaining F/F team in final 3 ?
