Isn't GasWorks where TAR3 ended? Maybe TAR10 will end at another season's starting point.

From your Finish link Puddin: Minäkin arvasin, ettei tällä kierroksella putoa kukaan, koska Phil sanoi "A couple may be eliminated". Minusta Colin tosiaan sanoi "My ox is broken" eli "Minun härkäni on rikki". *räkänauru* Different people, different places, different times, but same conversations.

Finland is at least the 8th stop -- maybe 9th if there are 2 legs in NZ or even 10th if there is something between Mauritius and Finland. Probably less than a week away from the finish! Here are a couple pics of Helsingin Olympiastadionilla too...

Thanks for the link. Both teams have their swim gear and lifejackets on before they reach the cluebox; and watching the video I got the sense they waited for the crew to catch up so they could be filmed reading the clue. WOW! An actual TAR video This is the first one, isn't it?

From memory the first team to arrive was all female, the 2nd a guy and girl - all quite young. They completed the task in that order but the leading team got about 5 minutes in between them. We counted 5 teams in total. We have some camcorder footage we'll try and post something from it soon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ooops I just remembered they were both female not as I wrote before.
The second team sure looked like m/f to me (why would a girl be wearing board shorts?). From the Kuwait pics it looks like these are Team #4 (blond girls) and Team #2 (compare their height difference).

It's interesting how, in the Gasworks map on the filming permit, they have closed various intersections. It looks like they have tried to direct the teams to the west. That points them to the Aurora Bridge for their trip to the airport. This is the same bridge that teams in TAR3 used when they finished their race. But they were coming from some West Seattlle park. To get to the airport from Gasworks park (yes, I grew up in Seattle) the fastest way is Interstate 5 which is to the east of the park. It takes 27 min the fast way. What will follow? I think the teams will take the Aurora Bbridge but will get hoplessly lost as it dumps them out into downtown Seattle. From the waterfront, 12 teams will have to scramble eastward through downtown to find the 5 freeway. Once they get on the 5 they will be okay. But the on-ramps are few and far between.

I didn't grow up in Seattle, but I've been there a handful of times, most recently just last Christmas. The Aurora Bridge doesn't "dump" you downtown, it puts you right on Hwy 99, the Alaksan Way viaduct. That whisks you speedily above downtown, then takes you further south right to the 509 freeway and SeaTac. I thought that was the "secret" route locals used to get to the airport to avoid traffic on the I-5.

You may well be right about that. I just noticed that the permit map kind of blocks both directions. I guess those are blocks to hold back local traffic. So now I think the teams could go either way. My time in the Seattle area ended so long ago and included some dumb mistakes driving around the Aurora Bridge. I was convinced that it would be trouble when Google maps came up with the route along the 5. After looking closely at the images I see that the "dump" I referred to is really just the road going into a nice tunnel. So, yea, it looks fast. But you know, it was post-rush-hour late morning so I'm holding out for the 5 ! Welcome to the forum ScottSchrantz !
