Ah jeez, Wally.  It would have been more fun if you had started a false rumor saying that Beth was in training for next season on Survivor.    :umn:

Puddin, nice to hear that. She sounds like Wally's #1 daughter.  But again, it would have been more fun if Sally was a conniving evil witch on the show.   ;D

Yes, Sally's a very nice girl.  She and Beth make a good pair together.

Thanks, the gal in green was mugging for the camera too much.

Off topic:  I only watched the last 10 minutes of Survivor.  It sure was kind of strange to see a TBC and then see in the previews one of the women (the obvious winner of the fire challange) scaling some type of wall.

As for Cole, just ignore him as I do.  ;D

It's presently my most prized possession.  Unfortunately I don't have much on my mind, so it goes unused.

Kind of like Cole's manners. Available, but vastly unused.

If I had anything on TAR9. you know I'd fill you in - unfortunately all I've heard is a bunch of 2nd hand stuff.  Beth is going to NY for the Survivor finale this weekend so maybe she'll come back with a few tidbits.

I would love to go to the Survivor finale!! Hope she has fun :)

Where do you even get tickets for that???? Do you need to know someone that used to be on a reality tv show, that makes regular appearances on a reality tv podcast?? LOL

Beth was only able to get tickets to the Survivor finale as part of Sally's allotment.  I'm not sure how or if they distribute any to the public.

Wally,  In reviewing this season's race, I like to review a color coded race matrix that some fan draws up.  It's really interesting and provides additonal insight into the race.

Have you ever seen your season's matrix?

The matrix can show where one decision can make a huge difference.  For example, your decision in Charleston to go shrimping allowed you to go from next to last at the Gazebo to getting on the first bus to Huntsville.  Which then led you to win the free gas and staying in the upper echelon of teams for the next few legs (until your debacle in Phoenix  :groan:)

No doubt our deciding to do the shrimping and several teams ahead of us going for the mud bog was our turning point in the race.  Not only did it get us to the front of the pack it also gave us the confidence you get after winning your first leg.  Up until then we had spent a lot of time near the back where one additional mistake puts you out of the race very early.
