WOW its looks so good to look at the board and actually see Survivor 11 EP 1  (| . After what was a great season in Palau (until TOM pulled out all the strong arm tactics but then again the great thing is the person you want to win normally doesnt) I cant wait to get Guat started.  The summer had its run of good TV BB was the best its been in a while, but lets face it BB is no Survivor. Now on to the good stuff......

We know the hike is 11 miles, we know it will be grueling, we know Margaret will play a bigger role on the hike and stand out in EP1 (this could be a bad thing definately, depending on what kinda confessianals they give her), and we know that Steph and BJ will be back sometime around 830 ET on Thursday.  What we dont know is what kinda role thoes two will play and who will be the first boot???? thoes seem to be the major questions being addressed.  With pic of the Yaxha camp showing the immunity idol as well as a nice little picture of them triumphiantly returning to camp it should be a Nakum going home in week one.  In previous articles we have read about Jim throwing up a lot and how grueling the hike in was.  Now while I think that the hike will be much tougher on some of the bigger guys (mainly Blake and Judd) If you have grey hair and you get sick in the first couple of days all signs point to being the first boot.  So I think we should all get a good look at Jim this week becuase out side of the intro we wont be seeing him around until the reuinion and then Jeffy might actually ask him one question.  Let me add great Irony a fireman wins the previous edition and the retired fire captain will be the first out (hmm come to think of it Irony or is it the Survivor Gods screwing with us).

Now on to the more interesting thing hwo will BJ and Steph be used?????  The article taken from the conference call with Jeffy was quite insiteful on the contestants but the most info he gave was about the returning cast memebers.  He spoke time and again that the real trick here is yea they are an easy first boot but who are the two or three people who will try to team up with these people and use their knowledge of being out there with nothing and the game of survivor.  Now all that being said we have to think a little out of the box.  EPMB like to screw with these contestants a lot.  We also know that if they are in the game and have a torch (I believe I have seen caps of TC with 9 torches) then we have 18 and will require a double boot at some point to work out to 39 days.  So will they be like a regular contestant??? Sure I think it will all appear as if they are in the game again I dont think Jeffy or EPMB will ever tell the other contestants of any special rules that apply to these two until they need to know ( face it everthing in Survivor is a need to know basis) So as opposed to giving Steph and BJ a chance to win again why not use them to screw the contestants??? As opposed to the double TC I think BJ and Steph will be removed from the game at a key point so that the numbers for one side will get evened out again.  Basically this is kinda a fail safe if a group dominates. By taking two people from the game at a key moment where people are just getting comfortable with the numbers should mix things up.  And we wont have to watch another double TC.  Re read the article with Jeff and see what you think, he kinda speaks in circles when it comes to these two and keeps saying the key is who will team up with them???? is that person setting themselves up??????

If I go with my gut right now id say your final four will be Rafe, Brian, Morgan, and ???????? (I think Gary but he seems to be getting a little too much attention so for now ill leave that area blank).

Ill leave you by saying GO JEDI JANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May the force be with you.

and if your wondering what word starts with the same letter as it ends and what might be in the hatch they found on LOST??????

Here's a betting spoiler I found at Voted Off...may be helpful in picking MediaWhore teams.

BETTING SPOILER:

Bodog.com has predicted the winner of each Survivor. The order of elimination will depend on which tribe wins immunity when the tribes are divided. These are just odds and may be wrong.
Article and possible partial spoiler below.

Bodog.com Sportsbook and Casino Has Issued Odds on Survivor: Guatemala - The Maya Empire

The online sports book, casino and poker site, Bodog, which takes television proposition bets, announced the odds on the Survivor: Guatemala winner.

"I am always amazed by the amount of interest the Survivor series generates among our bettors," says Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog. "Our pop-culture bettors have such a deep understanding and knowledge of the show that they have successfully predicted the winners of each of the past Survivor editions."

The Bodog book managers use certain criteria to determine contestants’ rankings. The criteria include: Historical evidence, such as the character make-up of past winners and losers; demographics, such as gender, age, and physical attributes; and sentimental and popular culture value - an assessment of how the general public feels about each contestant.

Two contestants are considered the favorites at 2/1 odds: Danni Boatwright, a sports radio talk show host; and Gary Hogeboom, an ex- NFL quarterback turned real-estate developer. At 20/1 odds, Lydia, a fishmonger from Washington State is the pick for first elimination.

Contestant Odds to Win:

Danni 2/1

Gary 2/1

Brian 3/1

Amy 4/1

Rafe 4/1

Cindy 4/1

Brandon 5/1

Jim 5/1

Morgan 7/1

Brooke 7/1

Brianna 7/1

Judd 10/1

Jamie 10/1

Margaret 15/1

Blake 15/1

Lydia 20/1

Om the mediawhore pciks thread I've been reading where Danni looks like a probable 1st 2nd or 3rd boot..here the odds have her as a 2/1 fav (for now)..go figure.

My MediaWhore team Gary..Margaret..Rafe & Stephanie.

Well it looks like Blake may be next unless they pull off an immunity win. Jim actually did as well as the rest of the guys until he hurt his wrist.  Isn't Margaret the nurse? Wonder why Jim voted to boot her??????

Did he...I missed that. Surprising though unless he resented her ability to adjust and help everyone at the same time..including him. That or he didn't want to risk alienating the younger people if he stayed. KInda stupid cause she is an asset to any tribe.
