Creating Live Feed Captures
« on: August 21, 2005, 11:34:21 PM »

(Windows Only) Right Click on your desktop, click properties. Then settings > advanced. Now look in this window and the different tabs for something called "Hardware Acceleration." I can't tell you where exactly it is, because it's in different places depending on your video card. Mine was under "Troubleshoot." Then you will see a little bar, if it's on FULL slide it down 1 notch. If it's not all the way on FULL, then you can skip this step. Press OK to exit.

You are now set to take some screencaps. There are different programs you can use like Snagit or Gadwin. I use the plain old print screen button on my keyboard, and then open a file in photoshop and paste it. It's time consuming... but you have full control over it.

If you don't want to mess with the settings on your video card, you can change this is RealPlayer by going to Tools -> Options -> Hardware and change the acceration on that!
