TAR 32 PRE-RACE Speculation (dates/cast/routes)
« on: October 01, 2018, 03:03:22 AM »
THIS is for Intelligent speculation with some basis in fact.

It is NOT for wishlists in any form.

CBS Casting page: When do they film this upcoming season?

Casting finals will be held this July and early August, 2018. The filming dates for the season we are casting are sometime between October 15th and December 1st, 2018, for approximately 25-30 days.

I have a theory where TAR 32 will end, starting with season 26, the show has been visiting US cities that never got a proper finish from seasons 1-11. Then three seasons later they end in Chicago. The only ones that are left are Seattle, Phoenix, and Denver. I think TAR 32 will end in one of these three cities if they want to continue the pattern.

Lots of good cities left. Phili would be awesome!

If the Starting Line is anywhere on the West Coast, then we should be looking at South America, Oceania and Asia!

If the Starting Line is anywhere on the East Coast, then we should be looking at Europe and Africa!

I'm thinking that will go westward again, because from TAR31, they haven't gone westward in a LONG time!

Its a good time of year to be heading to the Southern Hemisphere.

Haven't been to lower SO America in a while either. Not to mention Aus/NZ.

Good picks could also be Philly or Boston.

Latin America already got visited four seasons in a row from the blind date season to the strangers' edition, so better to sacrifice it for a guaranteed Oceania visit.

Taiwan, Australia, and Oman have to be among the top countries inexplicably overdue for a revisit: none have appeared for over a half-decade.

If Oceania isn't visited in TAR 32 then it will be 10 seasons since it's last visit.

I thought we were looking at more of a late October/early November start?

If it's more of fall season, the southern half of the country could be good picks. I'd still like to see a proper New Orleans finish line!

It very well might!

However, in my opinion, we will film from late October, to mid November!

According to the website race could start as early as Oct. 15 but it looks like Phil is in Zambia right now (according to his Instagram). Could be starting later then. Maybe this season will go there?

You can’t always rely on the location ID for a post on IG. I recently saw someone post three different images, with three different places back-to-back within minutes.

Phil just posted that he is currently in Zambia, not a location ID or tag or anything. He's actually there. Currently filming Nat Geo Explorer

My comment was right above that one on Phil's Instagram and Phil replied to me!  :funny:

'Working on it'

Could that mean we may not film until November? ???

So Phil being in Zambia has nothing in common with next season of TAR, right?

Nothing at all to do with TAR. And thru the magic of flights he can even be home by Monday lol.

TAR 32 should be starting pretty soon. If we see things changing will let you know.
