I think this was our very first task location on Sunday. We didn't see teams until the afternoon (correct me if I am wrong) in Stratford. However, would they have two chevy related tasks on b2b legs ?

I can see it being just a RM, or some small task just to get it in there. Just too much of a coincidence. Maybe something involving mileage, a check-in point?

Maybe the RI at YYZ said "Drive to where the awesome 2018 Chevy Equinox is made." At the plant maybe they swapped the Equinoxes for the Chevy Bolts and continued to Stratford and then Toronto. What model of Chevs were at Dundas Square?

update from the person who saw them in Stratford :

I saw them go into York kitchen but not sure if it was a task they grabbed a map from the boat house . There must have been a task or a clue in York because after they went to the boat house and paddle boated up the river . I seen a team of men  in green and 2 groups of women .

New Theory:

We know teams landed on Saturday evening, maybe the first clue was to get to the GM CAMI Assembly plant for an overnight stay.

Then Sunday morning, teams drive to Stratford.

If Versus was one of the Detour choices and only Team 6 was sighted, it's very possible that the U-turn was not used.

Just so everyone can put Leg 7 in perspective...

Teams took the subway from Yonge-Dundas Square Chevy task to Lansdowne Station and went to Monkey's Paw/2X U-Turn board. This was speculated to be a RB.
Drive time between Versus Coffee and Monkey's Paw is supposedly 20 minutes (according to Google, but this is TO). Versus Coffee is speculated to be a Detour Choice.

They (Team 6) did leave the car challenge first! Followed by Team 4  and 2. Teams 8, 5 and 7 finished in the bottom.

There is the possibility that a team that had gone pass the road block was picked, blocking someone else from using it.

My question is: why the distance between 2X board and Versus Coffee? Remember, they were just at Yonge-Dundas doing what we think is the RB, because team member were seen watching their teammates.

But we think the Car task was a RB, right? Because teammates were standing together, right?
If so, maybe team 6 either tried the other Detour choice & switched, OR someone beat them there/they got lost on their way to Monkey's Paw.
Could the car task be the other Detour task and each teammate had to do a part of it?
I'm just saying something's off.
