First day in Toronto we see vegan gains eating at Doomies, and now first day in Quebec City we stumbled upon an amazing race cluebox. #amazingrace Naturally, I went over to see, and when I opened it we could see the clue envelopes stuffed in. We got yelled at right away by someone in disguise to get away. Then 2 mins later a team comes running in. I don't watch the show anymore but it was still pretty cool!

Are we sure? Who is the women doing the roadblock? We have male from team#6, but who is from the other pic?
Unless it's a guy?

It's probably Paul from Team 9.

It doesn't get more clear than this:
vegan.metal.cats@origins75 a male team with one taller blond and the other shorter brunette. I'm guessing this is for next season? And probably amazing race Canada...

So is the F3 were most likely Team 1 (Ken & Ryan), Team 6, and Team 9 (Sam & Paul), with Team 10 (Andrea & Ebonie) eliminated in F4 right?

Who is the female? Is that team 10?

Pink shoes match?
Here's a screencap from a vid with Andrea

Andrea & Ebonie made it to F4? Referring to the pic above, not sure because Andrea & Ebonie are wearing black rubber shoes which is seen in the Shanghai, China sighting. Unless it is a spare rubber shoe but she is wearing a black jacket similar to the Newfoundland start line.

Thought they were seen in Ottawa, but it's hard to tell from the photos.

So there was a second stunt-y heights Roadblock in QC (that's a huge waterfall they were dangling over yesterday). It probably was the finale, then.

Given the awfully large time gap after SK, we must have lost them in some remote corner of the country for the penultimate leg, Sorry to say I don't put enough faith in TARC to have gone intl a 3rd time :P

The crew is back home so Quebec WAS the finale leg!

Several things:

- As regard to the pétanque tweet, the person said in french: that they were spotted WHERE people play pétanque (so it's not 100% sure they had a pétanque task, maybe they just had a cluebox next to them).

We are missing a leg between Regina and Quebec... Most probably a leg in a rural area, either one of the territories, or maybe northern Manitoba like some suggested  (Churchill?)

Lots of flights from the Quebec province, Ottawa and Toronto

Can't see them omitting both the north and the maritimes (NL isn't considered a part of that region), they never have before.

If Churchill, it's small and remote, but very tourist-oriented. One thing I know they offer there is "safaris" to see the arctic wildlife (polar bears, etc). That'd come to mind for a great task.

So our final speculated route:

Leg 1: St.John's, Newfoundland and Labrador (start line) to Vancouver, British Columbia
Leg 2: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Leg 3: Castelgar/Nelson, British Columbia
Leg 4: Beijing, China
Leg 5: Shanghai, China
Leg 6: Ottawa, Ontario/Gatineau, Quebec
Leg 7: Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador
Leg 8: Panama City, Panama
Leg 9: Regina, Saskatchewan
Leg 10: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
Leg 11: Quebec City, Quebec.

What a convoluted route!

But TARC3 had 12 legs.. cannot rule out that we have missed another leg right? Seems we had quite a bit of l o n g time gaps... ???

They have roughly a 1 day break after the filming of each leg. Same thing with Season 4.

The route looks a little better when mapped out if they had just kept the opening Leg in Vancouver instead of that unnecessary cross country flight. Or if they really wanted St. John's as the Starting Line, have a full Leg there and then continue on from there.

I think they wanted them to take long flights on each leg. I guess this makes the race a bit more exciting, at least for the producers' point of view. For me, I just feel they're throwing money out of the window. Let's just hope they've put lots of effort on tasks (ugh curling :groan:)

But TARC3 had 12 legs.. cannot rule out that we have missed another leg right?

True, but TARC3 had 12 teams. Now, there's only 10, so I guess it will be them same number of legs as TARC4

It wasn't just regular curling in Sault-Ste. Marie...
It was  CrokiCurl!
A combination of Crokinole - an iconic Canadian game and Curling (another iconic Canadian game).

You can tell by the posts on the ice. I had never seen it played outside of Manitoba though.

The Missing leg is in Sault-Ste.Marie!!

Filming was there this Friday
I have pictures but I'm waiting for permission to post here.

Why no Europe!

They've visited many Hispanic and East Asian countries and yet they've only visited France in S2. They're missing out on so many amazing places like Rome, Prague, London or Stockholm  :dick

Not speculation, just figured this was something to share since it was a location.

Shooting in Ottawa's ByWard market, one of the locations, earlier today. 2 deaths.

I scrolled through the comments on FB to see the reactions people have and there is an interesting comment.

(They went to Panamá City)

Not sure if the person is referring to the Race went to Panama City or Karen and Bert made it to Panama (comment was under Karen and Bert post).

I tend to think he specifically meant Karen and Bert were there as he didn't post under any other team notice or a more general post. His bio mentions a TAR fan club???
