Thanks. Judging by the "We love our neighbors" sign, the bridge and buildings in the background and the air mattresses I'd say they overnighted at Vessel 11 (map). Then in the morning Justin/Diana tried hoofing it across the Erasmus bridge instead of taking a cab.

There's a possibility of Rick and Cindy being eliminated because they went on the different train which was going to Amsterdam not Rotterdam interesting

If I'm correct, then the green team is near the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam, at the intersection of Churchillplein and Leuvehaven Schiedamsedijk.

hmmmm....  ???  what is "Team Teal" doing at the Schiphol Airport Railway Station (in Amsterdam) ???

Is the Rotterdam leg over and they are leaving for the next leg?   Noticed "Team Teal" is on the Thalys Train, so why go to the airport?  The airport doesn't figure into this leg at all.  Curious minds want to know.   :grins:

In the video, they think that Rotterdam is the same as Amsterdam. They could have went to Amsterdam instead of Rotterdam.

I hope it won't be like that. I mean for a while they'd think its Amsterdam then come to realize it before it's too late, i.e., caught up with others!

It takes 55 minutes by taxi from Amsterdam Schiphol railway station to Rotterdam depending there's no traffic.

My guess is when we see them on the Thalys train asking about Amsterdam being the same as Rotterdam they have already overshot Rotterdam.

In that case, the best thing would be to get off at Schiphol and take an Intercity train back to Rotterdam...takes about 21-27 minutes and runs pretty frequently.  Taking a taxi would be a mistake.

Depending on how long they have to wait for a train (shouldn't be more than ~30 min), they would prob lose about 1 to 1.5 hrs total at the worst.

A train from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam travel approximately between less than 30 minutes to one hour (the last scheduled trains to Rotterdam to depart at 22:46 and 23:09), so Cindy & Rick could make it and to wait with hours of operation.

A few tantalizing details from a CBS press release (which will probably prove to be nothing):

“Full Speed Ahead, Captain!” (Rotterdam, Netherlands) – One Team risks falling to the back of the pack after taking a break to sight-see, and Racers take a big jump when faced with a Double Dutch Detour, on THE AMAZING RACE, Friday, Nov. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Phil Keoghan (@philkeoghan) is the host.

Any indicaations for who goes sightseeing? Could this just be a red to the Chacs?

And DoubleDutch is jump rope.... I can't think of any big jumps in Holland, it is so flat!

The other explanation could be as simple as maybe they tried train Rotterdam>Schipol>Hague.... That would be a stretch...there are easier ways.

Big Jump+ Double Dutch is intriguing me...

Could it be a tandem jump?

Can't think of anything else except jumprope lol or the strapped to the windmill TAR did once before

I might have mentioned this earlier, but most or all the Rotterdam area locations could be reached via public transportation (i.e. Light Rail).

From Rotterdam Centraal station they could ge to Den Haag with the RET E-line light rail.  Similarly, to get to the Schiedam windmills they could take the RET D-line to RET A or B-line  light rail.  Amsterdam is way too far away, IMHO.  But this is all just speculation till the episode airs.
