CBS has announced that season 25 will premiere Friday, September 26th, at 8:00 pm ET/PT.

CBS is apparently planning to air a new film awards show on Friday, November 14th and is clearing its primetime schedule that night. So we can plan on TAR 25 taking a week off for this new awards show.

Going forward, we don't expect a lot of delays or pre-emptions with a Friday night time slot. The only sports event that might cause an issue would be the CBS college football games on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but with the new college football playoffs, and the changes in the conferences and game scheduling, that may or may not be an issue this season. Stay tuned.

Also, as of this season, CBS is no longer sending out CBS Eye-lert emails about scheduling delays; they are directing folks to their website home page, to their twitter and facebook feed accounts, or the message crawls at the bottom of the screen during broadcasts. Just an FYI.

Don't forget, US and Canada will be shifted back to their standard times next weekend.

Won't affect TAR until the first Friday night in November (as DST ends on Sunday, November 2nd at 2 am DST in each time zone.)
