Did a bit of snooping at Sentosa, and it looks like we have a task - a task made for Adam/Bethany!

It's the wave machine at the Wave House, which Jobby reminded me was one of the finale tasks on TARA:4.
People also recall seeing contestants hailing taxis at Beach Station (600m/650yd away) at around noon.

We already have the Roadblock at the Marina Bay Sands (which incidentally was also a task in TARA:4).
Could they have copied most of the rest of that leg as well?

Edited to add: I also got inconsistent vibes at the Skyline Luge. It's possible they used it as the other side of the Detour, but I'm not too sure. They seem to have run out of ideas for Singapore as a destination... Come on, hire me, CBS! I can do so much better than that!

You know, a similar task was used as a Roadblock in the leg 6 of TARLA 3.  :)

Found a new, confirmed location!

Just a teaser before I post the details when I sober up tomorrow morning...

The best thing about having Bethany on the race is that everyone knows what you're talking about when you ask about a girl with no arms.
The worst thing about having Bethany on the race is that everyone hardly remembers anything else other than the girl with no arms. :groan:

Anyway! Following up on the photo of Kym/Alli taken at Changi Point Ferry Terminal (thanks Sean, Josh, and Evan!), I found out that teams took the ferry over to Pualu Ubin (Granite Island) and back in the early morning (around 6-8am) of 18 Jun. The flight from Rome landed in Singapore at 6:09am, so this sounds like Pulau Ubin was the first location in Singapore.

The ferries are 12-seaters and usually leave when full (S$2.50 per person), but it's also possible for teams to charter the entire boat (S$30). The journey usually takes about 10 minutes, but who knows what incentives the teams will give to the boatmen to speed?

The villagers on Pulau Ubin kept telling me of an Australian TV show filming - I'm not sure if this was misdirection by our producers or something else altogether?

Once on Pulau Ubin, teams trundled into vans (the taxis of the island) to head to the Malay village, 1.3km/0.8mi away. Missed opportunity to force the teams to decide whether to rent a bicycle or to hoof it!

Ran into some language barriers at the village, but there was something to do with durians at the small field in front of the village. It didn't sound like racers had to do anything other than pick up a clue and go. (Another missed opportunity!)

But hey, it's a side to Singapore that many Singaporeans themselves aren't familiar with, and it provides a nice contrast to the cityscape later on in the leg, so points for effort, TPTB!

TAR 25 FINALE REVEAL

The TAR DETECTIVE Team is proud to reveal the Spoiler Events of June 22, 2014!!

Teams flew from the Philippines to Tokyo, and onto LAX.

Along the way FOUR teams were spotted in Tokyo by Mike W, THREE of them seen in this photo:

The Final Flight:

Teams (in a TAR first!) SELF-DROVE Ford Explorers .

In a strange twist of fate, Patrick Vaughn (TAR   ) spotted the teams .

His location confirmed our belief that teams were heading to Manhatten Beach City Hall  to pick up their first clue.

Teams then went to SOUTHWEST MARINE.

TASK: Stunt leap through a "glass" window to a Stunt bag below.

Teams then proceeded on foot to TERMINAL ISLAND.

TASK:
Dress in diver gear. Board a UNITED STATES COAST GUARD cutter.

Proceed into deep water and perform some sort of a Coast Guard water rescue, such as this?

(At this point we also believed that teams would be picked up by helicopter, and taken to their next Location. For whatever reason, that sadly did not happen.)

Instead, teams were brought back to the dock, where we believe teams changed to taxis.

They then  proceeded to The WILMINGTON CONTAINER YARD

TASK: Unknown, but believed /hoped to possibly be a memory type task.

At the completion of this, teams went by taxi to the
POINTE VICENTE LIGHTHOUSE

to the
FINAL MAT.

Slowhatch and Chateau are going to be sharing more from the day.

But a BIG :tu to the TAR Detective Team who worked for weeks on this, most specally Chateau, Slowhatch, and walkingpneumonia!!

You guys are the BEST!!  :<3

Just adding my share... The Dropbox folder is here. When looking at a photo, click the 3 dots lower-right and choose "original" to see the details in the large size. Although I missed the fun at the stunt show, I saw some teams
leave the Coast Guard base in Defender boats, go out past the breakwater for their task and return a short while later. I can infer from what I saw that the Scientists made quick time of the water task--or the Dentists lagged. Or both. Here's a map of the area and I've included a photo--Terminal Island.jpg--for reference. The Photolog adds a description and time for each photo.

Could it be The Amazing Race on today's flight from Narita to LAX? pic.twitter.com/6NcX5GBHLN

(I'm not sure how you guys want pictures posted so I just put in a link)

He replied:

@xxx I saw 4 teams and it was about 9:30am this morning

so it means the 4th place team flew to final city together with the final 3. still don't know who the final 3 are, unless we have their pics in LA
